just had the very novel experience of getting into a new ship, fully aware it would be a rare pair, hopping on to ao3 to find a fic and being pleasantly surprised there’s a little over 500 for me to enjoy, setting the language to english, only for that count to dwindle down to 17 LOL

yes to the media/social media aspect everything is so english centric u almost can't help it idk if any of this is helpful with french at all. but also. 1. being on tumblr.com for like 13 years 2. prolonged high intensity exposure to kpop twitter (HELL) 3. mental illness 4. having the funniest mutuals and osmosing the fuck out of them 5. ur so wrong the message u send is more coherent than 98% of the things I've said on here ever 6. strictly using words in a recreational sort of manner 7. mental illness 8. incoherence and enigmaticness idk wtf I'm saying it's pure vibes u don't get what I mean and neither do I

Can someone please explain how the hell only in 2024 did I watch Bakuten? Why aren't more people talking about it?

The animation, the characters, the music, the morals, the message. All of it is just so uniquely beautiful and strong and meaningful and fulfilling to me I'm genuinely scared how this wasn't more of a groundbreaking anime when it came out like 2-3 whole years ago.

Literally watched the movie last night and it was such a rollercoaster of emotions I can say I spent a whole hour and a half crying for so many different reasons and I can assure this thing will be living in my mind rent free for the next month at the very least.

I have so much to say about Bakuten it's physically painful

If anybody out there reading this hasn't watched Bakuten, pls give it a chance. I can't promise anything but I'm pretty sure it will be worth your time :))

while i chose to watch this '82 sports movie bc of the lesbians (that was the main draw, really), i was Not prepared by how invested i was gonna get with the olympics plotline. female athletes training for and super excited about the upcoming 1980 olympics and i'm On Edge bc of that looming 'they're not gonna go to the olympics!!!' on the horizon. i'm not ready to see their hearts get broken bc of Sports! like this far into the movie, and i'm less worried about these girls gaying it up in the late 1970s, and i'm more scared about the 1980 olympics reveal!
