I’m on the second season of pennyworth and it’s actually crazy that no one else watched this. It’s so batshit insane I thought it would be a shoe in for tumblr. Alfred is like a shittier (or maybe better??) version of James Bond because, really, he’s just in it for the money and his bros. He goes on morning runs with JACK THE RIPPER. He visits A LITERAL WITCH to figure out vital information. Alfred gets clocked in the nose by Thomas Wayne’s sister who ends up dating a satanist. While all of this is happening, London is in the throes of an impending civil war because fascists are trying to take over. THAT’S JUST A SMALL PART OF SEASON 1.
Peak TV. So fucking funny holy shit.
YOU GET IT, ITS PEAK DC. just wait for s3 it gets wackier. like I'm constantly wondering what their plan was to do w samantha.
(on my rewatch I was like "oh s1 was so normal" [jack the rapper's decendent is here and runs a mob and alfred chats w a witch on a regular basis])
like alfred is so fucking mean to EVERYONE no wonder everyone hates him in s2. I love love the little homages to batman villians (also alfred paralleling a batman villian every season is so great)
it's such a unique and fun show that took RISKS and did fun things with the plot.
my only dislike of it is that they didn't make alfred and thomas kiss. they should have kissed.
it's such a tumblr blorbo show and how tumblr didn't like it is beyond me. it makes NO SENSE and that's what makes it so much fun, it truly captures the essence of dc comics.

The MAIN Masterlist
'ding'
The bell on the front door rang out as you entered the shop. The place was definitely what you imagined it to be. Chill and the lights low enough for you to see and look at the items.
"Good day." A lady with orange hair said as she looked at you. "My sister will be with you shortly." She gave a fake smile and rolled her eyes as you turned and looked at the items on the wall.
"Peg!" Bet yelled. You turned to look at her when she glanced at you. You recognized the redhead from somewhere but it didn't click in your head. So you just simply put it aside for the time being.
"What!" Another voice you recognized too well which caused you to give a big grin as you looked at the paddles. 'Didn't move to far I see' You thought as you ran your hand over one of the paddles.
"You have a customer." Bet said loud enough for the both of you to hear. The beads that hit each other in small sounds. "Hello, love." Peg smiled at you as you turned and looked at the woman wearing a suit in the color green. You grinned and gave a little chuckle.
"Hello. I've just heard about your business, dear." You turned and gestured to the whole place. "Oh, well isn't that lovely." Peggy walked behind the counter, smiled, and gave the redhead a glare for rolling her eyes.
"I'm sorry. My sister here isn't fond of working behind the counter."
"Shut it you." The woman looked at the both of you before mumbling something and walking out of the shop.
"Sorry about her." Peggy said as she heard the door slam. That's where you knew about the redhead. She was Peg's little sister. Former best friend. Now Bet was your best friend during and after high school, which was no biggie to you. But she got involved with Lord Harwood.
Your father.
Your mother never told him that she was pregnant with his child, she basically kept you away from him. Sending you away like you weren't supposed to be born. Your mother was cruel. Never giving you the attention you needed, no goodbyes when you were sent away. And that's how you met Bet in high school. She was unhinged of course. But you both protected each other.
She was sassy, of course, well who from the Sykes family wasn't sassy? The rumor that they were manics was popular at the time. But when you first saw Margaret, it was like you finally saw color in your world again. Ever since then you were obsessed with the woman. You kept tabs on her, where she moved, what she did, and today you had the right plan to confront her.
"Oh, It's no bother. Say are you still working for Lord Harwood." You gave a smile and picked up a paddle that was hanging off the wall in front of you. Glancing at the woman with the paddle in your hand, you noticed the smile that graced her face disappeared.
"What's your name?" She asked as she glanced at the black and brown paddle that you held in your hand. You lifted your hand, black nails running through your h/c hair. "Oh, I'm sorry you don't remember me." You chuckled as you walked forward.
"The name's Y/n Harwood." Your smile was crazed as you gazed at her body a little too longingly. You would love to see what she was wearing underneath all the clothes. Would she be wearing something suitable for your liking? What of your liking anyways. You would rather have her wearing nothing at all.
You stood at the other side of the glass counter where you could see her more clearly. The way her breathing was a little bit rigid.
"Y/n?" She tested your name as she slowly reached to her right for something behind the counter. "Your Bet's friend, am I right?" She asked and gave a fake smile.
"Yes, pretty much. But I haven't had contact with her ever since she started working for my father." You hissed the last part.
"Lord Harwood?" She questioned.
"Yes, Lord fucking Harwood." You sighed, slumping your shoulders and looking a different way, dazed for a bit.
The sound of a gun clicking caught your attention. Quickly you looked back at the woman who held a gun right in your face. Wide eye'd you took a step back. "Peg, I wouldn't dream of hurting you." You faked a theatrical gasp. Putting your hand on your chest, looking at her with a hurt expression.
"How would I know that, love?" She questioned quirking a brow at you and tilting her head.
You grinned from ear to ear- "I guess your right"- quickly and swiftly you drew the paddle you had in your hand and hit the gun from her hands causing her to gasp. She tried to move from behind the counter toward the front of the shop which made you run behind her and pull her by her hair which caused her to groan and gasp.
You coiled and wrapped her long black hair into your hand and pulled more causing her to recoil and lift her head back to relieve the ache in her scalp.
"Now we can do this the hard way or the easy way." You sighed, relaxing as you smelled her perfume that laced her personal space. As you licked your lips and whispered in her ear - "So which is it?"-just as you tugged on her hair again, she quickly turned. Knife in hand. Where could she get a knife from?
This was her shop anyways, so it didn't surprise you. What surprised you was when she lunged and she cut your cheek toward your upper lip.
"You bloody cheek." You licked your lip and rolled your eyes. "I believe it's the hard way then" You tilted your head to the right.
"You've overcome your stay." Peg glared at you.
"Don't be daft now Margaret. We both know I have the high hand here." You wiped the blood from your cheek and sucked your fingers clean. You could see the blush rushing to her cheeks causing you to chuckle.
"You wanna taste?" You laughed as she looked away. You took the chance and grabbed her wrist twisting her arm behind her back causing her to cry out at the pain. She dropped the knife at your shoes and you slowly pushed her toward the couch and you pushed her down onto it.
Swiftly she turned around, trying to catch her breath. You both stared at one another. Blue into e/c eyes. Your breathing and hers seemed to grow into sync.
"Fuckery" She said under her breath as she crashed her lips into yours. You grinned into the kiss as she whimpered as she tasted your blood on your lips. The kiss hurt because of the cut she made but that wasn't going to stop you.
You both started stripping one another of your clothes to see the body underneath. Peg wasn't able to get any of your clothes off as you forced her hands above her head and you excessively sucked at her neck. Her blouse and shirt that was tucked into her skirt were discarded somewhere on the floor. Her black lacy bra made her breasts more appealing to you.
Slowly you pulled her skirt up toward her hips to met her matching underwear. "Fucking fantastic." You groaned into her neck. You made your way down her chest, kissing and nipping her skin. You eventually let go of her hands as you made your way down her stomach. Your hands found her thighs and she moaned softly.
"Stop teasing" She whimpered which made you chuckled wholeheartedly into her skin. Your hands found the fabric of her underwear and slowly pulled on it and let it go which snapped against her hip.
"Of course, ma'am." You grinned as you were down in her lap. Her hands found their way into your hair as she gripped and scratched your scalp.
"Just leave it to me." You pulled the fabric down her thighs to her ankles. You noticed the garter belt she wore and the very much matching garter belt and stocking she wore. You kissed her inner thighs that caused her to groan.
You made your way toward her aching core, with small touches and licks to her outer lips, she bucked her hips into your face. You chuckled as you watched the woman submit to you.
"Please" She whispered. You almost missed it due to hearing your heart pound in your ear.
Obeying her needs, you lapped at her entrance and used your fingers to enter her. She whined as you curled your fingers against the spongy area. With quick and small strokes, Peggy was a whimpering and moaning mess underneath you. Your tongue lapped at her clit which caused her pull on your hair and her thighs to twitch every now and then.
You would look up now and then to notice that she bit her lip from letting any noise escape her beautiful mouth. Slowly she reached her peak with her back arching, thighs crushing your head, and a rather loud moan that you were sure the entire street heard.
Peg let out a content sigh and smiled tiredly at you.
"I believe I owe you some money." You said as you pulled out the few hundreds from your pocket. That tired smile turned into a frown as you got up and kissed her roughly. You threw the money at her and fixed yourself up, not bothering to help the lady with her clothes.
"I'm not a whore. Y/n" Peg said venom dripping from her voice. "Oh believe me, I know, next time we'll see what comes out from your pretty little mouth." You laughed as you ran your fingers through your hair shaking out any tangles the other woman may have caused.
"You daft bitch." Peg growled as she fixed her skirt and put on her dress shirt and blouse.
You walked out smiling to yourself.
"I believe I owe you more then I thought,"
"Bloody hell you do." You laughed as you looked at the red head.
"Until we meet again Bet." You acknowledged her as you continued to walk down the street. Surely you wouldn't be going far. You still had unfinished business with Margaret 'Peggy' Sykes.

The “Pennyworth” finale was great!!! :D Took some turns I didn’t expect. Though I am bit worried by how it ended especially since it’s highly likely all the HBO Max DC shows that aren’t connected to the movies are going to be cancelled thanks to the WBD merger and comments from James Gunn who is co-heading DC Studios now as they want to have one unified DCU similar to Marvel’s MCU. It’s also partly why all the CW DC shows are ending or got cancelled too. I’m a fan of the film side so I get doing this as it likely should’ve always been that way but it also is horrible being a fan of all these shows and them just ending. So I’m not happy it ended on so many cliffhangers but that wasn’t their fault as they finished filming so long ago.  All we can hope for is if they’ll give them a 4th season to wrap it up but I’m already expecting this, “Titans”, and “Doom Patrol” to be ending with their current seasons.

on the 2nd to last ep of pennyworth s3 and GOD. this show melded together all the plotlines really well and you get to see everyone come back together and go "what's happening with you? where are we going now?"
seeing thomas, martha, and alfred really come together as a group in a way they've never truly meshed before is so satisfying to witness along with seeing these original characters you fell in love with have good and impactful storylines as well.
i love seeing bet's revenge quest, i love seeing lucius parent and befriend all the p-dubs, I love seeing thomas, martha, and alfred all have moments of pure "I will do whatever it takes to defend my family"
all three of them killing to save their family so bruce grows up in a world where he gets to choose to not kill at all
ITS SO GOOD

Money, Money , Money Part II (Margaret "Peggy" Sykes x Obsessed! Fem! Customer) Part I, Part II
Tumblr media
Author's note: Thank you so much for requesting a Part II. I was rather debating on this and how it should've gone, but I believe it went rather well.
Summary: After some time away from London and you finally came back to a rather destroyed town so you live in the country estate from your parents that was mostly forgotten about. But you find yourself back into keeping tabs on a certain woman. Warning(s): Obsessive behavior, arguing, brief insanity, minor anxiety, unhealthy relationships, psychological tension
The MAIN Masterlist
Pennyworth Masterlist
The country estate had always been a refuge, a place where you could escape the chaos of the world. But even the sentence surroundings couldn't quiet your mind, quell the obsession that had taken root in your heart. You had tried to leave it all behind, but Peggy Sykes was never far from your thoughts. She was a constant presence, a ghost that haunted your every waking moment.
It started innocently enough- just a quick drive past her house, a fleeting glance to reassure yourself that she was still there, still within your reach. But it wasn't enough. It was never enough.
Soon, you found yourself parking down the street from her house, watching her from a distance as she went about her day. She had no idea you were there, lurking in the shadows, but that only made it easier to observe her in her natural state, unguarded and unaware.
You knew her routine by heart-the time she left for work, the shops she frequented, the days she visited her sister. You could predict her movements with terrifying accuracy, and it gave you a twist sense of satisfaction. It was as if you were the only one who truly knew her, the only one who understood her.
But it wasn't enough to watch her from afar. You needed to be closer, to feel the rush of adrenaline that came from being in her presence without her knowing. You began following her more closely, careful to remain just out of sight. It was a game, a dance that only you knew you were playing.
One evening, you watched as Peggy left her house and started walking towards the local pub. You followed at a safe distance, your heart racing with anticipation. The streets were quiet, the soft glow of street lamps casting long shadows on the pavement. You could see her black hair bobbing up and down as she walked, the sight filling you with a strange mix of longing and possessiveness.
When she reached the pub, you didn't dare follow her inside. Instead, you found a bench across the street and settled in, your eyes never leaving the entrance. You imagined her sitting at the bar, her lips curling into that familiar smirk as she bantered with the bartender. You could almost hear her laugh, low and throaty, sending shivers down your spine.
Time seemed to stretch on forever, but you didn't mind. You were patient. After all, this was what you had been waiting for- a chance to be close to her, even if she didn't know you were there.
Eventually, she emerged from the pub, her step slightly unsteady. You felt a surge of protectiveness as you watched her, your fingers itching to reach out and guide her home. But you held back, knowing that your time would come.
As she made her way back home, you followed, keeping to the shadows. She paused once, glancing over her shoulder, and your breath caught in your throat. But then she continued walking, dismissing the feeling as nothing more than a trick of the mind.
When she reached her house, she hesitated at the door, fumbling with her keys. For a brief moment, you thought she might turn around and see you standing there, but she didn't. Instead, she unlocked the door and disappeared inside, leaving you alone in the darkness.
You stayed there for a while, your eyes fixed on the house, imagining what she was doing inside. You wondered if she ever thought of you, if she remembered the last time you had been together. The thought filled you with a mix of excitement and dread.
But you knew you couldn't stay away. Peggy Sykes was yours, whether she knew it or not. And you would do whatever it took to keep her close, even if it meant watching her from the shadows, always just out of reach.
As you finally turned to leave, you couldn't help but smile. The game had only just begun, and you were willing to play it for as long as it took. Peggy might think she was free, but in your mind, she was already yours.
***
Days turned into weeks, and your obsession with Peggy Sykes only grew stronger. You convinced yourself that you were simply looking out for her, protecting her from the dangers she didn't even know existed. But deep down, you knew it was more than that. There was a darkness in your heart, a twisted need to control her, to possess her completely.
Your nightly visits to her house became routine. You would park down the street and watch as the lights in her home flickered on and off. You knew when she went to bed, when she woke up, and even how long it took her to get ready in the morning. You had memorized every detail, every habit, and it filled you with a sense of power.
One evening, as you sat in your usual spot, you noticed something different. Peggy wasn't alone. A man had arrived at her house, and from the way they interacted, it was clear they were more than just friends. Your stomach twisted with jealousy as you watched them laugh and talk, their silhouettes framed by the living room window.
You clenched your fists, feeling a surge of anger. How dare he come into her life? Peggy was yours, even if she didn't realize it yet. The thought of someone else getting close to her, touching her, made your blood boil.
The man stayed for hours, and with each passing minute, your anger grew. You tried to keep calm, telling yourself that it didn't matter, that he was just a passing distraction, a client. But the gnawing feeling in your gut told you otherwise.
When he finally left, you watched as Peggy lingered at the door, waving them off with a smile that should have been reserved for you. The sight was unbearable, and you knew you couldn't stay away any longer.
The next day, you decided to take matters into your own hands. You followed Peggy as she went about her day, staying just out of sight. She seemed oblivious to you presence, which only fueled your need to be closer, too make her see that you were the one who truly cared for her.
In the afternoon, she stopped by a local cafe. You waited outside, pacing back and forth, your mind racing with thoughts of what you would say to her, how you would make her understand. But when she finally emerged, she once again with that man.
They were walking side by side, their conversation light and easy, and you could see the way she looked at him. It was the way you wanted her to look at you, and the realization made something snap inside you.
You followed them to a nearby park, your eyes never leaving them. They found a secluded bench under a tree, and you watched as they sat down, leaning in close to each other. The sight was too much to bear, and before you could stop yourself, you were moving toward them, your heart pounding in your chest.
As you approached, you heard Peggy's laughter, soft and sweet, and it sent a wave of fury through you. That sound belonged to you, not him. You quickened your pace, your hands trembling with a mix of anger and anticipation.
When you were just a few steps away. Peggy finally noticed you. Her smile faltered, confusion flickering across her face as she looked up at you. The man turned as well, his expression curious, but you didn't care about him. All you could see was Peggy, and the way she had let someone else into her life.
"Y/n?" Peggy's voice was cautious, her brow furrowing as she took in your appearance. "What are you doing here?"
"I needed to see you," you said, your voice stained. You could feel the weight of the situation bearing down on you, but you couldn't back down now. "We need to talk, Peggy."
The man beside her shifted uncomfortable, glancing between you and Peggy. "Is this everything okay?" he asked, his tone wary.
Peggy hesitated, clearly uncertain. "This is.....Y/n," she said, her voice faltering slightly. "We've known each other for a while."
"You didn't miss the way she avoided calling you a friend, and it stung more than you wanted to admit. "We're more than that, aren't we, Peggy?" you pressed, your eyes locked on hers.
Peggy's expression hardened slightly, and she stood up, putting a little distance between herself and the man. "I don't know what you mean, Y/n," she said carefully. "Maybe we should talk later, in private."
But you couldn't wait. The sight of her with him, the way she was trying to keep you at arm's length-it was all too much. "No, we need to talk now," you insisted, taking a step closer. "You've been ignoring me, Peggy. We need to sort this out."
The man stood up as well, placing a protective hand on Peggy's arm. "Maybe you should go, Y/n. It's clear she doesn't want to talk right now."
The causal way he touched her, as if he had every right to, made something inside you snap. "Don't touch her!" you shouted, your voice loud enough to startle both of them.
Peggy's eyes widened in shock, and she took a step back, pulling her arm away from the man's grasp. "Y/n, please, calm down," she said, her voice pleading. "You're scaring me."
The words cut through you like a knife. You hadn't meant to scare her-you just wanted her to understand. But the look in her eyes, the fear that was now so evident, sent you reeling.
"I...I didn't mean..." you stammered, the anger draining from you as quickly as it had come. "I just...I needed to see you, to make sure you're okay."
Peggy took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. "I'm fine, Y/n. But you need to leave, now. This isn't the time or place."
You could see that she was serious, that there was no room for argument. The realization hit you like a ton of bricks. You had gone too far, and now there was no turning back.
Without another word, you turned and walked away, your heart heavy with a mix of regret and frustration. You had wanted to protect her, to keep her safe from everyone else, but all you had done was push her further away.
As you made your way back to your car, you couldn't help but feel the weight of your actions bearing down on you. Peggy had seen you for what you were-not a protector, but a threat. And the thought terrified you more than anything else.
But even as you drove away, you knew you couldn't stop. Peggy was still yours, even if she didn't realize it. And you would find a way to make her see that, no matter what it took.
The game wasn't over-it was just beginning.
***
The days following the confrontation in the park were a blur. You couldn't shake the image of Peggy's fearful eyes, the way she had recoiled from you as if you were some kind of monster. It gnawed at you, twisted your thoughts into darker and darker shapes. You barely slept, barely ate. All you could think about was how you had failed to make her see that you were the one who truly cared for her.
But then Bet Sykes showed up at your door.
You were in the middle of pacing the long hallways of your estate when the doorbell rang. The sound jarred you from your thoughts, and for a moment, you considered ignoring it. But something told you that this wasn't a visit you could afford to miss.
When you opened the door, Bet stood there, her expression cold and calculating. Your friend, Peggy's younger sister, and the two of them shared the same mindset, but one still stronger than the other, though Bet's demeanor was far more menacing.
"You and I need to have a little chat," Bet said, her voice laced with a calm that only made her more intimidating.
You swallowed hard, stepping aside to let her in. Bet had a reputation-she was not someone you wanted to cross. But the way she looked at you, with that knowing smirk, made it clear that she had already decided you were trouble.
She walked into the foyer, her eyes scanning the grand interior of your home with a mixture of disdain and curiosity. "Nice place you've got here." she commented, thought her tone suggested she was anything but impressed. "Shame it's gone to waste on someone like you."
You closed the door behind her, the click of the lock echoing through the empty hall. "What do you want, Bet?" you asked, trying to keep your voice steady.
Bet turned to face you, crossing her arms over her chest. "I want you to leave my sister alone," she said bluntly. "You've been stalking her, harassing her, and it ends now."
You flinched at her words, but forced yourself to stand your ground. "I'm not stalking her," you protested, though even to your own ears the words sounded weak. "I'm just looking out for her."
"Is that what you call it?" Bet scoffed. She took a step closer, her eyes narrowing. "Listen, love, I know obsession when I see it, and you've got it bad. But Peggy doesn't want anything to do with you, and I'll make sure you get that through your thick skull."
You heart pounded in your chest, a mix of fear and anger rising inside you. "I care about her," you insisted, your voice shaking. "More than anyone else ever could."
Bet's smirk faded, replaced by a lock of icy determination. "Let me make this clear: if you don't back off, I'll make your life a living hell. And trust me, I know how to do it."
Before you could repsond, Bet turned on her heel and walked out, leaving you standing there, trembling with rage and frustration. You wanted to scream, to tear the place apart, but you knew that would only give her the satisfaction of knowing she'd gotten under your skin.
Hours passed, but you couldn't clam down. Bet's words kept replaying in your head, fueling the fire of you obsession. You had to find a way to get Peggy back, to make her understand that you were the one she needed.
Desperate, you began searching through old papers and photographs, looking for anything that could help you win her back. You didn't even know what you looking for-some forgotten letter, some piece of evidence that would prove your love. But the more you searched, the more frantic you became, papers flying everywhere as you tore through drawers and boxes.
It wasn't until you heard the sound of a car pulling up the long driveway that you realized how much time had passed. Your heart skipped a beat as you looked out the window, only to see Peggy's car coming to a stop in front of the house.
Panic set in. You didn't want her to see you like this, disheveled and desperate. But it was too late-she was already out of the car, making her way to the front door.
You scrambled to your feet, trying to smooth down your hair and straighten your clothes, but it was no use. The doorbell rang, and you knew you couldn't avoid her any longer.
With a deep breath, you opened the door, revealing Peggy standing on the doorstep. Her eyes widened as she took in your appearance-your wild hair, the dark circles under you eyes, the papers scattered across the floor behind you.
"Y/n...what's going on?" Peggy asked her voice filled with concern.
You tried to smile, but it came out as a grimace. "I've been busy," you said, your voice strained. "I'm trying to figure some things out."
Peggy's eyes darted to the mess behind you, and you could see the worry etched on her face. "You look....you don't look well," she said softly. "Maybe you should take a break, get some rest."
You shook your head, refusing to acknowledge the state you were in. "I'm fine, Peggy. I just...I needed to see you."
Peggy hesitated, glancing back at her car as if considering leaving. But then she sighed and stepped inside, closing the door behind her. "I was worried about you," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "After what happened...I didn't know what to think."
Her words sent a wave of guilt crashing over you. You hadn't meant to frighten her, hadn't meant for any of this to happen. But now that she was here, standing so close, all you could think about was how much you needed her.
"I'm sorry," you said, your voice cracking. "I didn't mean to scare you, Peggy. I just...I can't stop thinking about you."
Peggy's expression softened, but there was still a trace of fear in her eyes. "Y/n, this isn't healthy," she said gently. "You need to let go."
"Let go?' The words felt like a punch to the gut. "I can't, Peggy. I can't lose you."
"You never had me," Peggy said, the words cutting through the air like a knife. "You need to move on, for your own sake."
The room seemed to spin around you, your mind reeling from the rejection. She didn't understand-she couldn't. You had done everything for her, hand given up so much just to be close to her, and now was telling you to move on?
"No," you whispered, shaking your head. "No, I won't."
Peggy took a step back, her eyes wide with alarm. "Y/n, please...you need help. This isn't love. It's... it's something else."
But you couldn't hear her anymore. All you could see was the woman you loved slipping away from you, the one thing you couldn't bear to lose.
In a frenzy, you turned away from her, your hands clutching at the papers scattered on the floor. You had to find something, anything, that would make her stay. But you vision blurred with tears, and the papers crumpled in your grasp, meaningless and empty.
"Y/n, stop!" Peggy's voice was sharp, desperate. She reached out, trying to grab your arm, but you pulled away, your movements erratic and wild.
"I'm doing this for you!" you cried, your voice hoarse with emotion. "Everything I've done, it's all been for you!"
Peggy's expression crumpled, and she took another step back, shaking her head. "I can't do this," she said her voice trembling. "I can't be what you want me to be."
Those words shattered something inside you. You froze, the papers slipping from your fingers as you stared at her, your heart breaking in a way you had never imagined possible.
Peggy looked at you with a mixture of pity and sadness, and it was worse than any rejection. "Please, Y/n," she whispered. "Get some help. For your own sake."
With that, she turned and left, the door closing softly behind her, leaving you alone in the vast, empty estate. The silence was deafening, the realization that she was truly gone settling over you like a suffocating blanket.
You sank to the floor, surrounded by the remnants of your desperate search, the pieces of your obsession scattered around you like broken glass. The reality of what you had become hit you with the force of a tidal wave, and for the first time, you wondered if there really was a way out of this darkness.
But deep down, you knew that letting go was not something you could do. Peggy Sykes had become a part of you, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't escape her.
And as the night descended on the lonely estate, you sat there, lost in your thoughts.
