🐈⬛ PICK A PILE : GHIBLI CAT 🐈⬛
FUTURE SPOUSE : THEIR APPROACH TO THEIR CAREER & WHEN THEY MET YOU

PILE 1 PILE 2 PILE 3
Disclaimer : This is a general reading. It may or may not resonate with you. Please take what resonates and leave what doesn't. Remember, the energies can change from time to time. So pick wisely.
How to pick : Close your eyes, take a deep breath and clear your mind. Trust your intuition and choose a pile that you are most drawn to.
PILE 1
🐈🐈⬛ - For those who choose this pile, the profession of your future spouse is often marked by risks and rewards. It requires them to attend many social events, hosting parties or business meetings. No doubt they have good communication skills. Any words that come out of their mouth manage to gain favor from their bosses or clients. However, if they use these skills to trick and manipulate others for their business advantage, it could be the start of their downfall. They might even be willing to change their profession or workplace if it doesn't benefit them. It's like they only seek fun and money in the workplace. It's most likely that when they meet you, they will start to take their work more seriously and responsibly. This could happen when you both work together. From platonic, both of you slowly became lovers. I think you will help your FS to see the big picture in future where you both lead each other in work. So yes, it's definitely like a work couple.
🐈🐈⬛ - In their chart, Prominent Jupiter, Air Sign (Gemini & Aquarius), Strong Mercury, Water Sign (Scorpio)
🐈🐈⬛ - Possible career fields : judge, lawyer, banker , investor, business person, investigator, entrepreneur, artist & leader
PILE 2
🐈🐈⬛ - For this pile, you and your future spouse will start a business together or work in partnership. Before starting the business, one of you might have experienced some conflict, but when you meet, you'll both have the idea to open a business. You will serve as pillars of support for each other. For example, if you open a coffee shop, they will make the coffee while you take the orders. The only thing you need to be mindful of is maintaining balance. Misunderstandings or confusion may arise if one of you is emotionally guarded or secretive. If any problems or issues related to work or love occur, both of you need to sit down and have a deep conversation. Otherwise, one of you might harbor a lot of dissatisfaction and potentially isolate themselves in their work.
🐈🐈⬛ - In their chart : Strong Cancer & Moon, Gemini, Aquarius, Taurus, Moon - Mercury
🐈🐈⬛ - Possible career field : Travel blogger, therapist, counselor, teacher, entrepreneur, cooks, stall managers
Pile 3
🐈🐈⬛ - For those who choose this pile, your future spouse (FS) is determined and focused. Once they choose a field, they set their mindset and goals firmly on it. Due to this determination, they might overwork themselves. The universe advises them to rest, as they are working themselves like a robot. It's likely they experienced heartbreak before, possibly neglecting their previous partner because of their intense focus on work. After the breakup, they grieved over their mistakes. When they meet you, they feel a nurturing and welcoming energy, making them dream of building a family with you. Both of you will strive to provide comfort and financial security in the relationship. For some of you, this might mean having a child soon after starting the relationship. For others, it could mean that one of you may act like a child (not in a negative way, but in a sense that this relationship will heal your inner child).
🐈🐈⬛ - In their Chart : Strong Venus (Libra, Taurus), Venus - Saturn, Capricorn, Cancer
🐈🐈⬛ - Possible career field : Work in entertainment, musician, artist, banker, florist, executive role (CEO), engineering
Feel free to suggest topic to me in my ask box. Thanks. Enjoy the reading

okay something that i would love to see in a quota games is something thats less focused on getting material goods or pictures or something but like. lore.
like you're a team of researchers being sent in to learn stuff about a certain place and why it is the way it is. to observe weird creatures not for money photos but for like. science reasons. you get more money the more you learn about the place
and then on top of that a more. like. dynamic and changing environment? like every time you go on a new mission it's not the location wiped clean to a base slate with x y z loot or enemies. that what you do one mission carries onto the next, if you piss off a monster one time it'll stalk you with a vengeance next time
and like. it could be seeded procedural generation? so each run is different and the monsters that show up are different and the terrain and buildings and stuff are different. and through one mission it's just you going back to the same place trying to learn as much as possible before you all die. and then the next mission it generates an entirely new "world"
i'd love to see stuff like that in a quota game. sorry for spamming your inbox so much with all this lol you've just gotten me thinking about this
That's kind of what it's morphed into for me, yeah! Originally it was a "bloggers go looking for clout by photographing monsters", but it's becoming more "amateur photographers are sent into this location to record monsters by [????] for info". it make sense with shots of the monsters 'doing things' or interacting with each other being more valuable. you get "funding" based on how much data you're getting, which is then what you use to get upgrades.
i've also started thinking abt things more as an ecosystem, with the monsters really interacting and even having like. predator prey relationships. basically everything i come up with now in terms of games is inspired by rain world's ecosystems, but this has a strong peppering of monster hunter inspiration as well. i think there's something to that, from a horror game perspective-- these monsters aren't uniquely hunting you down. they're just hungry, and you're as much food as that animal next to you.
i think the "monsters remember you" idea is REALLY interesting, and could lead to some interesting tactical decisions, but will depend on other details about the monsters' implementation. i'll keep it in mind!
i was thinking procgen maps, yeah. i don't think it'll be like. completely custom generated worlds, more like how repo does it, with procgen level layouts based on a "theme" with a modular kit. much more feasible on a small scale, at least on a smaller scale.
no worries about spam! all thoughts are welcome here :)

Hello (Long Post),
I wanted to make a comprehensive and simplistic guide on understanding what you need to grow your own food! Spring is here, and now is the time to start!
If you are planning on starting a garden of edibles, before planting building anything please test your soil for lead! This is a real problem here! Some states have it worse than others and it can make you extremely sick.

If your lead levels are above 150 mg you Need to make raised garden beds - there are many ways you can do this, you don’t have to go to the big box stores and spend 100 dollars on premade ones - I’m planning on making some this coming spring.
You can use planks from any hardware store, ideally taller ones like the video I link down further will show, but other people also use stacked cinder blocks to ward off mites and other pests for zones that get hotter!
You need to know what zone you’re in to figure out what edibles will grow best and most fruitfully - it’s the same reason why most tropical fruit can only be grown in higher hardiness zones - our climates are much different state to state! (And yes, you can grow fruit and vegetables even in extremely cold zones! You’d be amazed at how many cold hardy plants can thrive through frost.) These lists might even be lacking in just how much you can plant - I would definitely recommend looking up things about your specific state and zone for more expansive lists!
Where you will most likely spend the most money is filling said garden beds - I’d recommend using compost in your ratio as other linked bloggers will also, not only does it cut costs on how much soil you use, it enriches the soil with much needed nutrients and also saves you money on fertilizer!
youtube
youtube
If you’re planting in ground with low lead levels, obviously you don’t need to make these (unless you’d want to for fun!).
You need to research how your plants grow, what their ideal conditions are, how far apart to plant them, and what they are best planted with to save the most space. There are some wonderful garden bed combos depending on where you live out there, and I recommend seeking them out if space is a concern. Some fruits and veggies can’t grow together for competitive reasons - there are edibles that grow so prolifically they can destroy any and all other crops. So be certain, and do your homework!
Proper support for certain fruits or veggies should be your next concern. Tomato plants get tall and gangly and hold heavy fruits, so they need support against high winds and general growing so they don’t snap! You may have seen tomato cages before - some are cone shaped, and some are boxes - if you’re growing anything that is going to need support down the line, you need to have something like this - you can even make them out of sticks or metal poles! (Or go even simpler and just use a single stick or pole - this is always an option, but as the plant gets older and the pole gets taller, it becomes more susceptible to being damaged by high winds and not being able to support its chosen crop anymore.)
To adhere crops to poles, I personally recommend gardening clips or gardening zip ties. You want your crop to stay put without damaging or suffocating the stem. I don’t recommend the rolls of Velcro - which is unfortunate, since you can get a lot out of a roll! Personally, I feel they loosen too easily, especially as crops get older, and you’ll need to readjust them frequently. If you must get this or if this sounds like the best option for you, test out the Velcro itself - would something hefty pull right through? Or would it be able to support it?
If you’re growing rows of food that need support, I recommend the box cages, as they fit together a lot better in close contact.
Some foods are vining - meaning they need to crawl in and under things to produce flowers that produce fruit/veg. This is where trellises come in! Just like cages, you can get some pretty simple options for under 10 bucks. These will most likely be thinner poles, which means you have to make sure, just like the cages once again, they are fully and totally in the ground and won’t budge!
If you already know wind is going to be a big issue for you and your garden, I recommend ground stakes or ground anchors, some of them will be marketed as use for securing tents, and those work just as well. You really don’t want these things coming out of the ground and snapping your vines/stems.
Next, you should be focusing on keeping critters OUT of your garden! Squirrels, rabbits, birds and mice are drawn to food naturally - if your garden is accessible to something that can burrow or chew, it will do so!! Just because you don’t see them around doesn’t mean they aren’t/cant - they’re sneaky for a reason, and they can’t help that they need food, lol!
Yes, it does suck to have to go up and under a bunch of netting everytime you want to pick something, but what sucks even more is having your garden devastated by some voracious eaters!
There are some nets and cages that come with zip doors that are easily accessible - but they’re egregious in my opinion. Rolls of stainless steel mesh will work better, as they are indestructible and are a lot more cost effective. Normal plastic mesh also works just as well! Just make sure the mesh is super fine and check for suspicious holes! What you don’t want to happen is have wider mesh that allows birds or smaller animals to get in, and not get out. What we’re trying to avoid is a critter getting stuck in there and freaking out!
Netting that is not as fine is okay and will probably work at keeping critters out- but tiny birds are at risk there! Just be prepared to have to cut out and re - net some poor guy trying to find a bite.
You need to make sure that your net is secured to the ground, and animals especially can’t get Under it - this is pretty common for squirrels and other guys who like to dig, if they can’t get in, they’ll go under! Things like those ground anchors or tent anchors will work well for this too - try to fit your hand underneath the net, and if you can get it under in any spot, other things can, too.
P.S., if you’re planning on growing berries, your biggest concern via critters is birds - those guys ADORE berries, and can be quite innovative in finding a way to get to them!
For us, last year, we grew tomatoes, jalapeños, and various herbs without any netting, and it seemed like the wildlife around was uninterested altogether. I would err on the side of caution if you’re growing enough food to harvest for multiple meals. Ours were tiny as we were trying to get used to what it would be like to grow food!
Now, growing from seed is going to be a lot cheaper than buying and planting a young plant, but it is going to take more time, planning, and observation. You have the option to start them indoors, and this can be a better option depending on the crop - but not all of them need that! You need to consider sun/shade levels, space, and specific care conditions for your seedling - for example, we can’t grow strawberries in our shaded backyard because they need full sun to produce the best!
I’m going to put some more links in my next post since tumblr is tired of me copying and pasting - they will tell you about winter sowing methods, indoor seeding, watering schedules, growing time, and more. The best way I’ve learned what works is from other people. Be honest and open and take multiple opinions, sometimes you have to do trial and error - if it’s your first time, it’s going to be a learning experience, but learning experiences teach us what helps a plant thrive and what doesn’t.
Get started now, and you’ll have set yourself up for success no matter what.
This is hard work. We are trying to be cost effective, but it still costs a decent amount of money - that’s not something to ignore. There are many sites and blogs online that will give you the cheapest option, and most of them involve creating them yourself. Remember that when you buy things already put together, you’re paying for convenience, not necessarily quality. So evaluate how much time and money you’re willing to put into your garden, and reach out to other people for help if you need it - you don’t have to do it all alone!

A lot of the conversation around tumblr's "financial defecit" has started falling into very binary camps of "if you like something. support it!" and "poor people need money more than tumblr", and I'd like to posit a secret third thing.
For starters, this old Dan Olson video is illustrative on the general pitfalls of interacting with platform owners as if you have shared interests:
youtube
I don't think enough people recognize that the interests of the Owners will always be at odds with the interests of the people who actually like using a blog website. It doesn't matter if the people who make tumblr have good intentions, or if they're "lifetime bloggers", etc. At the end of the day, their priorities will always be to find the most inexpensive path to growth.
-
In the present, the most inexpensive path to growth is the Content Trough. A tiktok/twitter "feed" of "content" that never ends and keeps you scrolling - seeing more ads - producing more data so that it can target the Content Trough more accurately. This is why tumblr wants to collapse reblogs, to lead people down algorithmic feeds. The current approach to Social Media Platforms is low-effort, quick reading media that people can generate a "hot take" on and move on.
It's approachable as a direction because users from other sites are already familiar, and higher-ups like it because it doesn't require any new ideas and comes with baked in statistics. Half of the reasons that tumblr is fun to use and good are also the reasons its unprofitable and outdated; and it'll always be more appealing to them to court new adopters than old bloggers.
-
Basically what I'm trying to say is that we can't make tumblr profitable and good. Obviously the site tanking means it'll go away as a living platform, but at the end of the day it could be better than the entire history of the site becoming illegible and inaccessible as the format completely eats itself whole trying to look like Twitter.
The 2020s have seen capitalism completely cannibalize the internet as it fails to produce the infinitely climbing line its so desperately seeks, and this is no exception. The well has dried up. If you're looking for someone to blame it's not other tumblr users, it's the structure that only allows social spaces to exist for the sake of profit.

Does website traffic make money?
Yes, website traffic can definitely make money. In fact, it's one of the primary ways that websites generate revenue. Let me break it down for you.
When you have a website, the main goal is to attract visitors and turn them into customers or clients. The more people that visit your website, the more potential customers you have.
And when you have more customers, you have more opportunities to earn money.
So, how does website traffic generate money? Well, there are several ways. Let's get into the most important ones.
Do you know? - “on average, organic search produces 36% of overall website traffic for these six key industries [finance, healthcare, retail, technology, travel & hospitality, and professional services]” – Conductor
Website Traffic Makes Money:
1. One of the most common methods is through advertising.
When you have a significant amount of traffic coming to your website, you can sell ad space to businesses that want to promote their products or services to your audience.
These businesses pay you for the exposure they get on your site, and the more traffic you have, the more you can charge for these ads.
You can also collaborate with advertising networks such as Google Adsense, Ezoic, Mediavine, and similar platforms.
By gaining approval from these networks, you position yourself for greater opportunities to generate income through advertising, which is based on the volume of traffic to your website.
2. Another way to monetize your website traffic is through affiliate marketing.
This involves partnering with other businesses and earning a commission for every sale or lead that is generated through your website via your unique affiliate links.
For example, if you have a blog about fitness and you recommend a specific brand of protein powder to your readers, you can include an affiliate link that directs them to the product's website.

Is blogging still relevant in the age of TikToks and Instagram?
According to Young (2006), a blog, otherwise known as a weblog, is basically an online journal or diary. It is anything you want it to be; you may use it to share your thoughts, get input from others, or even just rant (Young 2006). It’s safe to say that blogging isn’t exactly something new and has been around for some time now (Chin 2023).
That begs the question: what do we make of blogging in this day and age? Let's all take a moment to ponder upon it: in the past few years, the digital world has undergone a significant transformation. The emergence (and subsequent explosive growth) of social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram has given rise to new forms of content, entertainment, and the like. In addition, the ways in which content is created, distributed, and consumed these days has also changed. All of this might lead you to question whether blogging is becoming a thing of the past. But is blogging really fading into obscurity? Or is it all just a misconception of sorts?
In my opinion, blogging still has a place in our digital world nowadays. This is due to certain advantages it has over other social media sites like TikTok and Instagram. Personally speaking, one such edge that blogging possesses is the length of its content. Generally speaking, TikTok and Instagram postings are subject to certain constraints such as specific media formats, shorter word limit(s), and so on. On the other hand, blogging offers more freedom and allows for a more in-depth exploration of various subjects and/or topics, whether you're sharing a personal story, giving a detailed tutorial, or delving into a complex matter. Such a feature is especially useful when you want to engage and connect with your audience with more meaningful and deeper content. This is evident on blogging sites such as Tumblr, where the platform is set up to be different from other platforms, in the sense that it is a place of emotional authenticity (Hart 2015).
Besides that, blogging has the potential for money-making opportunities. According to an essay by Gustafsson & Muhammad (2017), bloggers participate in a wide range of economic activities by monetising their blogs using a variety of business models and based on the interaction of virtual and physical networks. In other words, you can make money by blogging. Gustafsson & Muhammad (2017) go on to say how there are more and more people who are turning to blogging as a means of income. Blogging initially started off as an avenue for people to express themselves individually, but they may now generate revenue that is often on par with (or even exceed) their salaries from conventional jobs (Gustafsson & Muhammad 2017).
Blogging’s potential doesn’t just stop there. Studies have shown that increased blog usage results in improved levels of perceived learning by students studying in higher education institutions in regard to reading, writing, and commenting in, which goes to show that blogging should be utilised as a learning and teaching tool in educational institutions. (Garcia et al. 2019). This is further supplemented by the findings from a study by Ifinedo (2017), where it was found that the perceived enjoyment, compatibility, usage, user friendliness, etc. of blogs have a favourable impact on students' happiness levels with educational blogging.
To sum up everything, I wouldn't say that blogging has become irrelevant, even with the rise and dominance of social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram; rather, it should be viewed as a medium which can be used to complement the aforementioned social media sites. In his book on blogging, Rettberg (2014) points out that numerous social media practises that we know of today are fundamentally forms of blogging, in the sense that they revolve around the same concept(s). Chin (2023) reiterates this point by stating that blogs, much like their social media counterparts, represent an online venue where people can gather to share their respective views and beliefs. The way I see it, blogging essentially functions as an alternative to TikTok and/or Instagram (of course, this is subjective and depends on the individual). With that being said, we should learn to appreciate the existence of blogs/blogging and not belittle their position.

Affiliate Marketing Management Sydney
In Australia, there are many affiliate marketing companies and agencies. These networks can help you make a lot of money by promoting products and services online. Some of them have a great reputation for performance.
It’s important to find a network that fits your needs and audience. A good one will offer a high commission and robust support. To know more Affiliate Marketing Management, visit the OZ Digital website or call 0240228675.
The right affiliate marketing strategy is essential for businesses looking to drive traffic and increase sales. It involves identifying your target audience and using the most effective marketing methods to reach them. This includes SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
Creating relevant, quality affiliate content is key for affiliate marketers. This will help you to build trust with your customers and increase conversions. Moreover, it will also enable you to earn more commissions. For example, writing reviews is a great way to generate interest in products and services that you promote.
In Australia, there are many high-quality affiliate programs that offer a wide range of products to choose from. You can find them by searching for a specific category or brand. Many programs provide affiliates with tools that help them to maximise their earning potential. These include microsites, email lists, and websites. Some also offer social media promotions and influencer marketing. These programs are ideal for small business owners, who want to reach a larger audience without the hassle of doing it themselves.
Whether your brand is a small startup or an international ecommerce business, an affiliate program can bring in new customers and increase sales. The key to success is finding the right affiliates, who are authentic and have a strong audience following. You can use social media or a search engine to find influencers in your industry niche and recruit them to your program.
Bloggers are another good option for affiliate marketing. They often have a dedicated audience and a niche in which they specialize. This makes them more likely to recommend products that will meet the needs of their audience. Moreover, you can look for bloggers with an existing audience that overlaps with your target audience.
You can also consider B2B affiliates, such as speakers and experts in your industry. For example, if you sell electric toothbrushes or skincare products, you can include dentists and estheticians in your affiliate program. Alternatively, you can promote your affiliate link through LinkedIn groups that are targeted to your industry niche.
A well-run affiliate program needs to be monitored regularly to ensure that it is meeting its objectives. Whether you’re tracking your commissions, analyzing ROI, or measuring incremental sales, you need to be able to see which links are converting and which ones aren’t. This will help you to identify the best opportunities for improvement and increase your revenue.
Affiliate software with reporting features can help you keep track of important information in one place. This can save you time and money, and it can also prevent you from losing track of important data. Post Affiliate Pro, for example, has an audit log that keeps a record of every change in your system and helps you determine responsibility.
One of the most common challenges in affiliate marketing is finding a way to reach your audience. As a result, it is important to use all the tools at your disposal to connect with your target audience. One way to do this is by associating your brand with names that your audience trusts.
Affiliate marketing campaigns allow e-commerce and lead generation websites ('the advertiser') to generate cost-effective traffic and sales from adverts or text links on third-party websites ('the publisher'). Payment is made on a performance basis, with the advertiser paying the affiliate for new leads or sales generated by the campaign.
Many affiliate programmes are managed by specialised companies that provide management services to bring suitable advertisers and affiliates together. These companies track the traffic, handle payments and control campaigns online in return for an initial setup charge, a monthly management fee and a small commission on each affiliate payment. To know more Affiliate Marketing Management, visit the OZ Digital website or call 0240228675.

i know that everyone is blaming gen z and alpha and calling them stupid for this, but it actually isn’t their fault:
1) google has gotten demonstrably worse, ON PURPOSE in the last few years. not just because of AI, but how it changes your searches to make more money and is almost all sponsored or SEO-gamed results, plus google and facebook’s now over a decade long dismantling of journalism of all kinds, has led to this. so people of all ages are finding it less useful and finding it hard to parse accurate answers.
2) it’s a bit of a misnomer to say they aren’t using google at all - gen z, gen alpha, and other generations are using YOUTUBE, owned by Google parent company Alphabet, more than ever before, because despite its many issues and decline, it remains accessible in most countries, unblocked on most networks, and easy to use. TikTok may still be on the rise, but YouTube remains a homepage for a lot of people in the way Google used to be.
3) They’re using Tiktok (and IG despite it not really working well) more like a search engine because the app is molding itself and PROMPTING them to. every video has the search bar at the top with a suggested search term that the app generated through scanning keywords said in the video, caption, and comments. every comment section on popular video has a feature where if a phrase or word is said a lot, it turns it into a suggested search a user can click on and go directly to from the comments. Creators are learning search-engine optimization strategy because the app is prioritizing videos for monetization that are longer and follow common SEO practices (this is to compete with YouTube - TikTok wants more long videos and streaming to make it more like YouTube, and YouTube bolstered YouTube shorts to make it more like TikTok).
4) Creators of all kinds - for fun, for education, for anything, who may have written on a blog in the past are turning to making SEO-friendly video on any of these platforms, also, because Google (and the social platforms that used to bring click traffic like Twitter and Facebook) are so broken that they can’t reach people easily (nor sustainably) that way. That goes for everyone from journalists to food bloggers. So which platform are you gonna use? Google, where your results are AI generated or sponsored garbage you can barely trust or that it’s hard to parse, or TikTok, where sure there’s some sponsored stuff but it clearly says when it is (bc legally, influencers HAVE to), and there’s a person’s face giving you advice?
It’s a similar principle to why Reddit has always been a better place for answers when searching than whatever you find on Google - you have real people (or at least the semblance of real people) giving you personal advice, that is informally peer reviewed through comments, thread replies, etc.
5) As we know, Gen Z and younger are not being taught computing skills. I’m a millennial. I was TAUGHT how to use a search engine. I was TAUGHT how to use a database. Many younger people, now even adults, were not only not taught because older generations assumed they’d just pick it up, but the platforms and devices they grew up using actively DISCOURAGE developing the skills to figure it out.
By the sheer fact that I am a millennial who grew up with a new device and platform almost every year, my brain is wired to figure out change with technology. But a lot of younger people grew up with the same platforms, now firmly entrenched, that do not want the user to leave to use google or click a link to someone’s website, because that’s less ad revenue, so they’ve created user interfaces and experiences that discourage leaving the platform, and discourage creators from leading people off of it for additional info.
Schools in a lot of countries, especially the US where they are underfunded, are leaning on tablets instead of full computers, where your only access to the internet is limited to curated app experiences, and discouraged from exploration on the wider internet because it is “bad and unsafe.” If you’re actively prevented from Googling, or never taught, or have apps that provide the info instead, why would you ever do it? How would you learn?
This is not to say that TikTok is good or perfect or the things found there are always accurate or people aren’t responsible for their own ongoing education sometimes. But we shouldn’t be surprised at any of this. It wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if all of this wasn’t to sell us more shit, either. But it’s always to sell us more shit - whether on Google or Tiktok.
Also this is ironic given the original post is a screenshot of a tweet from Pop Base, an engagement farm account that basically steals headlines from real outlets and takes all the engagement, not linking to any original reporting or even the source sometimes. It’s literally a part of what created this problem.

[ID: A tweet by Popbase that reads, "Nearly half of Gen Z is using TikTok and Instagram as a search engine instead of Google, new data shows.". Below the tweet is a pic of a poorly drawn Goomba from Super Mario Bros with text below him that reads "are you out of your fucking mind".]

Passive Income Business Ideas That Work

Introduction
In today’s digital age, earning money doesn’t always require clocking in at a 9-to-5 job. Passive income has become a popular approach for individuals seeking financial independence, side earnings, or even full-time income without trading time directly for money. Among various opportunities, launching passive income ventures rooted in solid business ideas is one of the most sustainable paths.
This article explores practical and proven passive income business ideas that actually work. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned entrepreneur, these options can serve as a foundation to generate recurring revenue while minimizing day-to-day involvement.
What Is Passive Income?
Passive income refers to earnings that are generated with minimal effort after an initial investment of time, money, or both. While it’s not entirely “hands-off” from the start, the goal is to create systems that work for you—earning money continuously without constant attention.
From digital products and real estate to automated eCommerce stores, the possibilities for building passive income are vast. The key is selecting the right business ideas that align with your skills, interests, and market demand.
Why Consider Passive Income Business Ideas?
The appeal of passive income lies in its flexibility and potential for financial freedom. Here’s why exploring passive income business models makes sense:
Freedom of time: Work less while earning more over time.
Scalability: Many passive income models allow for growth without proportional effort.
Diversification: Adds extra income streams, reducing reliance on a single job or source.
Remote-friendly: Many models are digital and location-independent.
Resilience: A well-established passive income system can continue earning during economic downturns.
With that in mind, let’s explore business ideas that can help you build sustainable passive income.
1. Create and Sell Digital Products
Digital products are a cornerstone of many successful passive income businesses. Once created, they can be sold repeatedly with little to no additional work.
Examples include:
Ebooks
Online courses
Stock photography
Graphic templates
Music or sound effects
Printables (planners, worksheets)
Platforms like Gumroad, Teachable, Udemy, and Etsy make it easy to launch and scale. This business idea works well for creators, educators, and designers looking to monetize their expertise.
2. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing involves promoting other companies’ products and earning a commission for each sale or lead you generate. It’s ideal for bloggers, YouTubers, and social media influencers who have an engaged audience.
You don’t need to create a product—just share your unique referral link. Popular affiliate networks include Amazon Associates, ShareASale, and Impact.
The best strategy is to focus on a niche where you can build trust and offer valuable recommendations. Once your content ranks on search engines or goes viral, commissions roll in passively.
3. Rental Income from Real Estate
Real estate remains a powerful source of passive income. Purchasing property and renting it out—either as long-term rentals or short-term Airbnb listings—can generate consistent monthly income.
To make this model more passive, many investors hire property managers to handle maintenance, tenant screening, and rent collection.
While the upfront cost is high, real estate offers long-term wealth building and tax benefits. For those who prefer a hands-off approach, investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) is a low-barrier alternative.
4. Automated Dropshipping Store
Dropshipping is an eCommerce model where you sell products without holding inventory. When a customer places an order, a third-party supplier ships the product directly to them.
With the right systems in place—automated fulfillment, customer support outsourcing, and digital marketing funnels—this business idea can operate with minimal oversight.
Shopify and WooCommerce are popular platforms to start your store. However, choosing a niche with low competition and high demand is critical for long-term success.
5. Write a Book or Self-Publish on Amazon
If you have knowledge, a compelling story, or a helpful guide to share, writing a book can be a lucrative passive income stream. Platforms like Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) allow anyone to self-publish ebooks or print-on-demand paperbacks.
After writing and publishing your book, ongoing sales generate royalties without further effort. Many authors earn thousands per month from a single title—especially if they focus on evergreen topics or series-based fiction.
6. License Your Photography or Art
If you're a photographer, artist, or digital creator, you can earn passive income by licensing your work on stock platforms. Websites like Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, and iStock allow contributors to upload content that buyers can purchase for commercial or personal use.
Every download earns you royalties. Over time, a large portfolio of quality images can become a recurring source of income.
This is a scalable business idea for creatives who want to monetize their talent without launching full-scale businesses.
7. Develop a Mobile App or Software Tool
If you have programming skills (or can hire a developer), building a mobile app or SaaS (Software as a Service) product can be extremely profitable. Once launched, you can generate revenue through paid downloads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
This model does require significant upfront investment in development and marketing. But once traction is gained, it can produce steady revenue with low overhead.
Popular examples include:
Budgeting apps
Fitness trackers
Language learning tools
CRM software for small businesses
8. YouTube Channel or Podcast with Monetization
Creating content for YouTube or podcasting takes time, but it can lead to passive income through ad revenue, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing. Older videos or episodes continue to attract views and listens long after they’re published.
YouTube monetizes content via Google AdSense, while podcasters can use platforms like Anchor, Buzzsprout, or Patreon to earn.
The key is consistency and delivering high-value content that solves problems or entertains a niche audience.
9. Invest in Dividend-Paying Stocks
If you prefer a completely hands-off business idea, investing in dividend-paying stocks is one of the most passive methods to build income. Many companies distribute a portion of profits as dividends to shareholders, often quarterly.
With enough capital and wise investing, dividend income can supplement your earnings or even fund your lifestyle.
Dividend reinvestment plans (DRIPs) also allow you to compound returns over time, helping build wealth passively.
10. Create a Niche Membership Site
If you offer exclusive content or a community around a specific topic, you can build a membership site that charges users a monthly or annual fee.
Membership business models are sustainable and predictable. Once members join, your platform can generate recurring income, especially if you automate onboarding and content delivery.
Topics could range from career development and hobbies to personal finance or wellness. Platforms like Kajabi, Podia, or WordPress plugins (like MemberPress) make setup straightforward.
Final Tips for Building a Passive Income Business
While passive income may sound effortless, it always requires initial effort, strategy, and in many cases, financial investment. To increase your chances of success:
Start with one idea and focus until it gains traction.
Automate wherever possible (email marketing, order processing, content scheduling).
Track your results and optimize based on performance.
Be patient—most passive income models take time to grow.
The most successful passive income streams are built on quality, trust, and consistency. Choose business ideas that align with your strengths and deliver long-term value.
Conclusion
Passive income is no longer just a dream—it’s an achievable goal for those willing to take the right steps. Whether you’re interested in digital products, real estate, affiliate marketing, or online platforms, there are countless opportunities to turn creative business ideas into reliable income sources.
By focusing on scalable models, leveraging automation, and committing to consistent value creation, you can build passive income streams that grow with time—bringing you closer to financial freedom and flexibility.

From Code to Headlines: How PR Fuels AI Startup Success in a Skeptical World"

A Startup’s Quest for the Spotlight
It is a chilly San Francisco evening, the kind where the fog rolls in like a soft blanket over the city.
Maya, a 30-something dreamer with a knack for code, is tucked into a corner of a lively co-working space, her face lit by the glow of her laptop.
Her startup, AIHealthGenix, has just unlocked something extraordinary an algorithm that can predict disease outbreaks with a precision that feels almost magical.
Her team’s riding a high, and investors are starting to whisper her name. But there’s a problem: outside her tight-knit circle, nobody knows about AIHealthGenix or its life-changing tech. In the thrilling, chaotic, and sometimes downright scary world of artificial intelligence, Maya’s story is one of thousands.
Countless AI startups, each with a flicker of brilliance, are battling for a moment in the spotlight in a market as packed as a rush-hour BART train.
That’s where a powerhouse like Golin PR Agency steps in, spinning marketing and advertising gold to transform unknown innovators into front-page stars with sharp press releases and hard-earned media coverage.
For Maya, the right PR partner isn’t just a bonus it’s the key to either fading into the background or lighting up the world.
The AI revolution is in full swing, and it’s nothing short of electric. It’s 2025, and the global AI market is racing toward $1.8 trillion, growing faster than a meme gone viral.
Startups like Maya’s are the heartbeat of this transformation, cooking up ideas to revolutionize healthcare, shake up finance, or even craft poetry that could give Shakespeare a run for his money.
But here’s the catch: AI is a tough sell. It’s hard to explain, harder to market, and hardest to earn trust for. A 2023 Edelman survey found that 60% of people eye AI companies with suspicion, worried about privacy breaches or algorithms that play favorites.
Toss in the ethical tightrope, cutthroat competition, and the challenge of explaining neural networks to someone who thinks “cloud” just means rain, and you’ve got a PR puzzle as tricky as building the tech itself.
Cast your mind back a few decades, and tech PR was a different beast, think shiny brochures and a friendly chat at a conference booth. By the 2000s, it was all about wooing bloggers and dipping toes into social media.
Today? It’s a high-stakes dance of reputation and crisis management, storytelling backed by data, and sidestepping public doubts.
AI startups like Maya’s have to win over investors who want million-dollar proof, convince customers their tech is safe, and reassure regulators it’s above board all while standing out in a crowded field.
One wrong move, like a buggy demo or a tweet that lands like a lead balloon, can set the internet ablaze. Just look at the startup whose AI chatbot went off the rails last year, becoming a trending cautionary tale for all the wrong reasons.
Maya’s story is every AI founder’s story. Her algorithm could save lives, but without a megaphone, it’s just code on a screen. A PR agency can amplify her voice, but not just any agency will do.
Pick the wrong one, and you’re burning cash on generic press releases that land in spam folders. Pick the right one, and you’re on the front page of Wired, with investors knocking.
This article is for founders like Maya, marketers crafting articles, and investors sizing up the next big thing. It’s a deep dive into the world of PR for AI startups why it matters, who’s doing it best, and where it’s headed.
We’ll unpack the challenges, share stories of triumphs and flops, and give you a roadmap to choose a PR partner that can turn your vision into a movement. By the end, you’ll know how to navigate the chaos of emerging tech and make your startup’s story sing.
The Wild World of AI PR Today
The Big Picture: Trust, Noise, and the Fight for Attention
It’s 2025, and PR for AI startups is like trying to shout over a rock concert. The opportunity is huge AI is reshaping everything from cancer diagnostics to self-driving cars. But the scrutiny is brutal.
People are nervous about AI, thanks to sci-fi horror stories and real-world fumbles like deepfake scandals. A 2024 PRovoke Media report says 70% of PR pros now use AI tools themselves think sentiment trackers or predictive analytics to stay one step ahead of crises.
Meanwhile, startups are drowning in competition. A 2025 Coinbound study found 80% of AI startups fail to snag meaningful media coverage in their first year, often because their PR game is weak.
Agencies like BCW PR Agency (now Burson, post their 2024 merger with Hill & Knowlton) are stepping up, using global networks and sharp data to cut through the clutter.
But it’s not easy ethical controversies, public distrust, and the need to make tech sound simple without sounding simplistic keep PR teams on their toes.
Telling a Story That Sticks
AI is brain-bendingly complex. Try explaining a convolutional neural network to a journalist who barely passed high school math. Now try making it exciting to a nurse, a CEO, or a policymaker.
A 2023 ReBlonde report says 65% of AI startups botch their pitch, leaving investors confused and customers cold. You’ve got to make your tech sound like it matters without losing the magic of what makes it special.
Dodging the Ethical Minefield
AI’s got a PR problem: people think it’s creepy. A 2024 Cision survey found 55% of folks want to know exactly how AI companies use their data.
One wrong move like an algorithm that accidentally discriminates can tank your startup. Just look at the 2023 mess when an AI startup’s facial recognition tool misidentified people of color, sparking a Twitter storm that cost them a major contract.
Breaking Through the Media Clutter

The media’s inbox is a warzone. TechCrunch, Forbes, and Wired get hundreds of pitches daily, and most get trashed.
A 2025 Prezly report says 70% of startup pitches flop because they’re generic or lack connections. For AI startups, it’s even harder journalists are sick of AI hype and want real stories.
Becoming a Trusted Voice
AI startups need to be seen as experts, not just dreamers. But building that cred takes time founders don’t have.
Thought leadership through articles, talks, or whitepapers is key, but it’s tough when you’re busy coding and fundraising.
Privacera’s Rise to Fame
Privacera, a data governance startup, teamed up with Actual Agency in 2024 to become the go-to name in AI security.
Actual wrote articles on industry trends, got Privacera’s CEO on stage at AI conferences, and pitched them to Forbes. The payoff? A 200% spike in coverage and a reputation as the expert to trust.
Picking Your PR Partner
Choosing a PR agency for an AI startup is like picking a band for your wedding you want someone who gets the vibe and won’t miss a beat. Let’s look at three heavyweights: Golin, BCW (now Burson), and Ogilvy, and see how they stack up for AI startups like Maya’s.
Golin PR Agency is a media magnet. Their work with McDonald’s, using data to track campaign success, shows they’re pros at proving ROI perfect for startups needing to justify every dollar.
Golin’s Rolodex gets you into Forbes or TechCrunch, a must for media coverage. But their big-brand focus can make them less nimble for small businesses and startups, and their fees might make a bootstrapped founder wince.
Golin’s your pick if you’ve got funding and a clear story, like AIHealthGenix aiming for global buzz.
BCW PR Agency, now Burson, is the crisis whisperer. Their 2024 merger with Hill & Knowlton made them a tech PR juggernaut, especially for startups facing regulatory or ethical heat.
BCW’s global setup means they can tailor campaigns to local markets, a boon for AI startups going international.
But their corporate vibe can feel cold for early-stage teams, and their size can slow things down. They’re perfect for startups like Clearview AI, needing ironclad reputation management when the going gets tough.
Ogilvy PR Agency is the creative jack-of-all-trades, blending advertising, content, and PR. Their work with IBM’s Watson turned a complex AI into a household name by focusing on human stories.
Ogilvy’s great for startups wanting to build thought leadership with flair. But their broad focus might mean less AI-specific know-how, and their price tag can sting. They’re the choice for startups like Anthropic, who want bold, creative campaigns that last.
What They Bring and Where They Fall Short:
Golin: Killer media connections, but not always startup-friendly.
BCW/Burson: Crisis pros, but can feel too corporate for scrappy teams.
Ogilvy: Creative storytelling wizards, but might lack deep AI chops.
How They Could Step Up:
Golin could offer leaner packages for small businesses and startups.
BCW needs to speed up and personalize for early-stage clients.
Ogilvy should double down on AI expertise to match niche players like ReBlonde.
Where AI PR Is Headed
The future of PR for AI startups is a wild ride. By 2030, AI-powered PR tools will be everywhere think platforms like Sprinklr predicting crises or personalizing pitches in real-time.
DeepSearch mode, like what Grok uses, will let agencies dig through web and social data to craft laser-focused campaigns. But new headaches are coming: deepfakes and AI-generated content will make trust harder to earn.
A 2025 IPREX report predicts 80% of PR campaigns will need to tackle deepfake risks by 2028.
What’s Next:
Hyper-Targeted Campaigns: AI will let agencies customize content for every stakeholder, like APCO’s Margy platform already does.
Ethics First: Startups will lean into transparency, with agencies like Actual Agency leading on ethical messaging.
New Media: AI-generated videos and podcasts will take over, pushing agencies like Ruder Finn’s RF Studio53 to master new formats.
Your Story, Your Future

Maya’s journey with AIHealthGenix mirrors every AI founder’s dream: build something world-changing and get the world to notice.
This article has walked you through the chaotic, thrilling world of PR for AI startups. From Golin’s media savvy to BCW’s crisis control to Ogilvy’s creative spark, each agency offers something unique.
Niche players like ReBlonde and Actual Agency are proving smaller can be smarter, especially for AI. The challenges ethical traps, crowded markets, tech complexity are real, but the right PR partner can turn them into opportunities.
Stories like DeepMind’s AlphaFold show what’s possible when PR nails the human angle, while Clearview AI’s fumble reminds us what’s at stake when it doesn’t.
The future? It’s AI-driven, ethically charged, and multimedia-heavy, with agencies needing to stay nimble to keep up. For founders like Maya, PR isn’t a side gig it’s the heartbeat of success.
Pick an agency that gets your tech, like W2O Group amplifies your vision, and has your back when things get messy. In the fast, fragile world of AI, your story isn’t just code it’s the spark that lights up the future. Go tell it.
