Royal Greetings my love,
Your fics are a work of art, love it!! May I request something for Kolivan?
I think most galrans believe in love at first sight (like Zarkons brain was drowned in pink glitter when he saw Honerva for the first time) and what if Kolivan had this moment as well with (Female) Blade!Reader when he saw her the fist time without her mask on a mission (aka. the best time to fall in love with someone)?
If you're finding some time to write that scenario/headcanon: Take all the time you need honey, i know it's tough writing requests for others (and yours are so good and nice to read on top of that!)
You're doing great, thank you for everything!
- Fürstin Lya
I'm glad that you like my fics so much 🥰 I only wish that I had more time to write. Of course I can; this is a super cute idea 💖
I appreciate you being so patient with me. Without further ado, here it is 💕
_________________________________________
(Y/n) was just the average Marmoran operative; she was trained by Krolia and Antok made her an official member after her trials because Kolivan had been away at the time, so Kolivan had never seen her face before. She'd been out on missions with Kolivan many times and over time she developed a little crush on her leader, unfortunately as far as she was aware he wasn't interested in a romantic relationship with anyone. The only people who knew about her crush on Kolivan were her close friends and Ulaz; Ulaz had a knack for knowing when someone was in love with someone else, even when they never actually told him. (Y/n) did her best to prove herself to Kolivan by taking only the most dangerous missions when they came up and she was successful with all of them, luckily the worst that happened to her during one mission in particular was that she almost lost her left arm.
Kolivan was aware of who (Y/n) was despite having never seen her face and he was very impressed by her success rate; he would eventually like to personally meet her on a more casual level. When he, Antok and (Y/n) went with Allura to galra central command it was (Y/n) who saved Antok’s life, putting herself in danger so that he wouldn't be killed. It was then that Kolivan made up his mind that he wanted to meet (Y/n) face to face as soon as they had time. After the battle at central command, Antok, (Y/n) and Thace had to stay in three of the castle's healing pods, although since (Y/n) wasn't too badly injured she was only asleep for about a day. Kolivan and Ulaz remained at the castle, waiting for their comrades to finish healing; right before (Y/n) was deemed healed Kolivan was in the lounge with the paladins.
“Wait, so you've never even seen (Y/n's) face? And you like her?” Lance asked Kolivan after he explained how he knew the young galran woman, dumbfounded that the Marmoran leader liked someone despite never actually seeing her face before.
“I never said that I held affection for her.” Kolivan corrected the blue paladin, feeling a little flustered.
“You didn't have to, I can tell when someone really likes someone else. That's why they call me the doctor of love.” Lance responded, bragging about his special gift.
“Lance, no one calls you that.” Keith responded flatly, hoping that Kolivan wouldn't take Lance seriously.
Lance gawked at Keith, immediately getting into an argument with the slightly older boy who always had to ruin his fun. Keith didn't see it as ruining Lance's fun, he just preferred to be realistic. Kolivan couldn't believe that mere children were able to fight in a ten-thousand year war and have some degree of success; Shiro had originally whipped them into shape, but without him around then Kolivan feared that team Voltron would fall apart. In the meantime, (Y/n) had come out of the healing pod she'd been staying in and Ulaz decided to go get Kolivan after he gave her a check-up just to make sure she was alright. Keith and Lance stopped arguing when Ulaz entered the lounge, listening as he told Kolivan that (Y/n) was ready.
“Go get her!” Lance said as he cheered Kolivan on, hoping that the older man would finally meet the woman of his dreams.
“Lance!” The other three paladins chided their friend in sync, each of them feeling a little embarrassed from the way he acted around Kolivan.
Kolivan wasn't expecting Lance to cheer him on when he didn't even have romantic tendencies towards (Y/n), he viewed her as his subordinate and nothing more because they were at war and there was no time for romance. Subconsciously he'd taken a slight interest in her, but consciously he'd convinced himself that he didn't see (Y/n) as a potential romantic partner. On the way to the infirmary Ulaz could tell that his leader was anxious and a little excited, and after talking to (Y/n) he knew she was really excited to finally have a little one-on-one time with Kolivan. When they arrived at their destination Ulaz left so he could give them some privacy, knowing that everything would go well between his friend and his leader. As soon as the door slid open and Kolivan saw (Y/n's) face he was awestruck; he just stood there for a moment, taking in her beauty while she looked at him with confusion, he wasn't expecting one of his most talented operatives to look so beautiful.
“You must be (Y/n).” Kolivan managed to choke out, feeling dizzy and lightheaded as he walked over to her; he felt embarrassed for not being able to speak clearly, it was the first time it happened and he wasn't sure how to handle being in the presence of such a fine young woman.
“That's me. Leader, are you feeling alright?” (Y/n) answered professionally prior to voicing her concern for him; she never thought that she would see the day when Kolivan got flustered, she thought it was really cute.
Before he saw (Y/n) without her mask Kolivan convinced himself that he could never fall in love with her, that changed as soon as he saw her without the hood and the mask of her uniform in the way. All he could do was stand there with his mouth slightly agape, staring at her face; if he was in one of those memes Regris had shown him, then he was sure that there would have been tiny beating hearts all around him. (Y/n) was a patient woman and she knew that Kolivan needed a moment to regain his composure; she didn't necessarily believe she was beautiful, but after breathing in his pheromones she could easily tell that he really liked what he saw.
“I just wanted to tell you that you did well yesterday, not everyone would save their superior in such a dangerous situation.” Kolivan said once his brain started working again, feeling the need to say something.
“I had to, he's one of us. Now that we have some time to recover from the mission, I would like to sit next to you during dinner this evening, if that's alright with you.” (Y/n) responded shyly, hoping to finally get to know her leader better, perhaps on a more personal level if he were to allow it.
“I would like that very much. But if you'll temporarily pardon me, I have something important to go discuss with Ulaz. I look forward to seeing you later.” Kolivan said before he excused himself, briefly smiling at (Y/n) on his way out of the infirmary.
(Y/n) reciprocated the smile and felt giddy; she assumed that he wanted to discuss Antok and Thace's health with Ulaz, although she felt giddy about sitting next to him at dinner. Since she felt better she decided to go to her temporary bedroom so that she could rest and get herself ready; there were a few hours left before dinner, and the young woman decided to wash up before dinnertime. While (Y/n) got herself ready for dinner, Kolivan went to go talk to Ulaz who was a known hopeless romantic, if anyone could give him love advice then it would be Ulaz. Just thinking about (Y/n) made him feel nervous because he'd never truly been in love before, but he wanted to get to know her better and with the possibility of a safer universe he was ready to open himself up to her and give love a chance. Until dinnertime, he and (Y/n) would get themselves ready for what would be the start to the rest of their lives together.

Pre-performance chaos filled the shared dressing room: staff rushing in and out, adjusting outfits, reapplying makeup, and running through final checks. The other members of your group, 2NE1, were occupied. Chae-rin was discussing something with the stage manager, Minji was stretching in the corner of the room, while Bom and Sandara were warming up together on the couch.
And you?
You were staring at your reflection in the mirror, barely tuning into the noise around you. Your hands fidgeted with the hem of your shirt, your stomach flipping for reasons you didn’t quite understand. Well, objectively, it was understandable: the time has finally come for your group’s debut, but your mind was elsewhere. There must have been a deeper reason, right? Maybe it was excitement, maybe nerves. Or maybe—
"You’re gonna rip your outfit if you keep doing that."
A familiar voice snapped you out of your trance. You turned your head to see Ji-yong leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, watching you with an amused smirk.
You immediately let go of the fabric and frowned. "I wasn’t—"
He raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, maybe I was. But don’t you have BigBang things to do? Why are you here?" You huffed, your nerves jumping out through your vocal cords.
“Am I not allowed to support you?”
You gave him a look. "To check on me or to annoy me?"
His grin widened. "Can’t it be both?"
You rolled your eyes and turned back to the mirror, but you could still feel his gaze on you as he walked in and sat down next to you. It was unnerving, but not in a bad way. More like a “why does he always get under your skin so easily” kind of way. It wasn’t just the way he teased you—it was the way he lingered, the way his presence wrapped around you like a thread you couldn’t quite pull loose. He had always been like this, effortlessly slipping past your defenses with a smirk and a well-placed comment.
And yet, beneath all the banter, there was something else. Something quieter.
You weren’t sure if it was in the way he watched you now, eyes flickering with something unreadable, or in the way he always seemed to notice the things no one else did. But whatever it was, it made your pulse stutter in a way that had nothing to do with nerves. And everything to do with him.
"You’re nervous," Ji-yong said after a moment, his tone light but knowing.
You scoffed. "I am not."
He tilted his head. "You only mess with your clothes when you’re overthinking something. I’ve seen you do it a hundred times."
That made you pause. "You… noticed that?"
He blinked, like he hadn’t meant to say that out loud. He hadn’t planned on admitting how much he noticed—the little ways your nerves showed, the way you tried to hide them. But he saw it all. He always did.
And for some reason, it made something tighten in his chest. He didn’t like seeing you doubt yourself. Didn’t like the way your fingers curled around the fabric of your outfit like you were bracing for something to go wrong. He wanted to fix it. To say something that would make that crease in your brow disappear, to remind you that you had nothing to prove to anyone.
He quickly recovered, however, masking the thought with an easy smirk. "Of course. I am very observant."
"Or maybe you just enjoy making fun of me."
"That too," he admitted, grinning. "But seriously, why are you nervous?"
You hesitated before sighing. "I don’t know. It’s stupid."
Ji-yong leaned against the back of the couch, watching you expectantly. "Try me."
Again, you hesitated. You opted to pick up your mic and just play around with it. Carefully, of course. You couldn’t have it damaged moments before your performance.
You certainly weren’t used to talking about this kind of thing—not with him, at least. Sure, you bantered all the time, but this felt different. More personal. You were used to messing around with him during practice—playful teasing, stealing each other’s snacks, making small talk about the latest trends or whatever ridiculous thing that had happened during rehearsals that day. It was easy, effortless. A comfortable rhythm you had both fallen into without thinking. But this? Talking about something real, something personal? That was different. That was terrifying. If you let your guard down, if you let him see even a fraction of the doubts swirling in your mind, how would he react?
What if he saw more than that? What if he saw the way your heart stuttered whenever he looked at you a second too long? The way you hung onto his words more than you should? You had spent so much time hiding your feelings behind witty comebacks and casual conversations, and now, with the weight of his gaze on you, you weren’t sure if you could anymore.
After a moment, you exhaled. "I just… I want to be good enough. I don’t want to mess up."
Ji-yong was quiet for a beat before he spoke up. "You are good enough."
You glanced at him, caught off guard by how certain he sounded. "You say that like it’s a fact."
"It is a fact," he said easily. "If it wasn’t, you wouldn’t be here."
Your chest tightened at his words—not because they made you more nervous, but because they somehow made you feel lighter. Like you weren’t carrying the weight of your doubts alone.
"You really think so?" You asked before you could stop yourself.
He met your gaze, his expression softening just slightly. "Yeah. I know so."
For a second, neither of you spoke. The noise of the room faded into the background, and you found yourself focusing only on the way he was looking in the mirror at you—not teasing, not smug. Just the real Ji-yong.
Then, without a word, he suddenly reached into his pocket and pulled out a thin bracelet. A simple black cord, with a single charm dangling from it.
You blinked. "What’s that?"
He held it out. "For you."
“Why?”
"Because it’s my lucky charm. And now I’m giving it to you."
Your brows furrowed as you placed the microphone back down onto the dressing table, turned your entire body towards him, and slowly reached out. The charm was small but detailed—a tiny star, slightly worn at the edges, like it had been touched a hundred times before.
"You carry this around?" You asked, stil staring at the delicate jewelery.
"Yeah. Before every performance, I hold onto it. It kinda became a habit." He shrugged.
You looked back up at him. "But… why give it to me?"
Ji-yong’s smirk faded completely now, his smile softer and his eyes trained on you. "Because I think you need it more than I do right now."
Something warm spread through your chest, something that had nothing to do with simple nerves. You swallowed, looking down at the bracelet before he picked it up and slipped it onto your wrist.
"You better not be messing with me," you murmured. "Or I swear, I’ll—"
He chuckled. "Relax. No tricks. Just luck."
You ran your fingers over the charm, then glanced at him. "Thanks, Ji."
It was ridiculous how something so simple could affect him so much. He heard his name all the time—fans chanting it, members calling for him, staff addressing him formally. But when you said it, when you casually dropped the full syllables and just called him Ji—for the first time, at that—like it was the most natural thing in the world, his heart did this stupid little flutter in his chest. It was personal. Intimate, in a way he wasn’t sure you even realized. No one else had ever said it like you just did. And maybe it shouldn’t have mattered, but it did.
He smiled bashfully and scratched the back of his neck, stepping back. "Don’t get used to it."
Returning the smile, you laughed. "Too late."
Ji-yong opened his mouth to reply, but before he could, Chae-rin called your name from across the room. “C’mon, girl. We’re on in five.”
It was only now you realised you were the only ones left in the room. Not an entirely great start. You turned to go, but just before you stepped away, you looked down at your wrist one more time. The charm glinted under the lights, and for the first time all day, your nerves didn’t feel so overwhelming.
Ji-yong watched as you walked off, hands in his pockets, a small, knowing smile on his lips.
Stepping out the room with Chae-rin, you were quickly escorted through the winding hallways of the backstage area by your managers. You felt like everything within you was racing; your thoughts and feelings, your blood, and not to mention your adrenaline. You took a deep breath as you stood with your group members and friends.
“Everything good to go?” You heard a manager ask your group, and you were about to confirm when you realised you were missing something. An uneasy feeling settled in your stomach as you realised you weren’t holding—
"My mic!" You gasped, eyes widening. "I left it in the dressing room!"
The staff around you tensed and the girls looked at you like you were a ghost. You felt the blood drain from your face. This was it—your career was going to be over before it even started.
But before the panic could fully set in, a familiar voice drawled, "Looking for this?"
You spun around. Ji-yong was standing there, casually twirling your microphone in his fingers, looking way too smug for someone who just saved your life. You were simply too stunned to speak.
"You’re predictable," he teased. "I saw you put it down earlier and figured you’d forget it."
You grabbed the mic from his hands, your heart still racing. "You just knew I’d forget?!"
"What can I say? I pay attention."
There was something in the way he said it—something playful, yet sincere. For a moment, you forgot about the crowd waiting outside, the stage, the cameras. It was just Ji-yong, standing there with that cocky grin, acting like saving your entire debut was no big deal.
You swallowed, suddenly feeling warm. "Well… thank you."
He winked. "I got you."
The staff ushered you forward. As you stepped onto the stage, your nerves weren’t completely gone—but they weren’t overwhelming anymore either. And it was all thanks to your silly little crush.
The stage lights were blinding, the music pulsed through your body, and the crowd was electric. This was it—your debut performance. Your heart pounded, but the moment you struck your opening pose, adrenaline took over. The cheers were deafening, the energy infectious. You could barely take it all in when—
"YEAH! THERE’S OUR GIRLS!"
A seemingly louder voice—way too familiar—shouted from the crowd, making your stomach drop. You didn’t have to look to know who it was.
Sure enough, you spotted them. All the members of BigBang. Front and centre. Completely ignoring any attempt at blending in. Daesung was jumping up and down like an overenthusiastic fanboy, waving his arms wildly. Seung-hyun stood there, arms crossed with a proud smile. Taeyang was in full cheerleader mode, clapping and pointing at each of you as if you were his personal pride and joy. When did they get here?
But it was Ji-yong—always with the most subtle, but most intense gaze—who still caused your heart racing. His eyes were glued to the entire group, studying every move, like he was seeing each of you in a way no one else could.
You tried to shake off the nervous flutter that the thought brought, focusing back on the performance—but then—
"LOOK AT THEM GO!” Daesung shouted, pumping his fist in the air. You couldn’t help but laugh internally, knowing his tendency to be a little over the top.
Despite the fact that your heart was racing from the performance, you couldn’t ignore the warmth that spread through you at seeing the boys so clearly proud of you and the group. You knew they were supporting you all, but hearing their cheers loud and proud for the whole of 2NE1 made you feel unstoppable.
Minzy, who was just behind you on stage, leaned in close enough for you to hear her without the mic picking up her words. “They’re like our personal fan club.”
You couldn’t help but laugh softly, glancing to the side at her with a raised eyebrow. “I didn’t know they could get any louder.”
Dara shot you a knowing smile from across the stage, barely whispering into her mic as she adjusted her position. “I think your little boyfriend is impressed.”
You froze for half a second, caught off guard by Dara’s words, but then you noticed Ji-yong’s gaze again. He was watching you with an intensity that made your stomach do flips, but there was no teasing or playful banter. His eyes were warm, proud, but… there was something else there. Something you couldn’t quite name.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” you quickly muttered back.
“But you still knew who I meant.” She teased quietly.
“Whatever.”
Getting into position for your part of the song—the first part of your performance—you quickly glanced at the boys, all of which were enthusiastically waving their lightsticks, yet you couldn’t help but focus on Ji-yong once more. It looked almost like he was seeing you for the first time, his eyes were full of admiration—truly in awe of your performance so far. To you, his focus almost felt like you were performing just for him. There was a part of you that wished it was just you and him.
That’s why you had to nail your parts, and you did. Not just for the group and yourself, but for him, too.
Afterwards, the van ride back to the dorm was a whirlwind of laughter and energy. You and the girls couldn’t stop talking over each other, each of you still reeling from the success of your debut performance. The night had been everything you’d hoped for and more—an incredible first step into your career. As the van pulled up to the dorm, you practically jumped out of your seat, eager to celebrate.
“We did it! We really did it!” Sandara was practically bouncing in her seat as you all stepped out, grinning from ear to ear. Minji followed suit, already doing a little victory dance as she skipped up the steps.
"I can't believe it!" Bom laughed, walking alongside you. "We’ve worked so hard for this moment. It feels unreal."
"I know! It feels like a dream," you replied, your heart still racing from the adrenaline. The thought of everything that had led up to this point made your chest swell with pride.
Inside, the dorm was cozy, a stark contrast to the bright stage lights and loud cheers. The atmosphere felt so much more relaxed, and everyone quickly scattered to grab drinks, snacks, and anything that would make this night even more memorable.
You wandered over to the kitchen, the warmth and excitement of the night settling in as you took a moment to let everything sink in. Chae-rin handed you a drink with a proud smile. "You were incredible tonight. Seriously, you looked like a star."
“Thank you, Chae-rin.” You returned the smile, your voice much quieter than before. As the leader of the group, she immediately picked up on the change in your behaviour. She knew you a little too well for your liking.
“Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, just…”
Momentarily, you looked down at the floor.
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to put it into words. You weren’t exactly sure why you’d been feeling off, but there was something about the night that made everything feel a little heavier. Between the performance, the teasing from the girls, and the subtle tension you couldn’t deny with Ji-yong, it felt like your emotions were tangled up in a way that was hard to unpack.
“I don’t know,” you said finally. “It’s just... everything happened so fast tonight, you know? I think I’m still processing it all. We worked so hard to get here, and now that we’ve done it, it’s like—what’s next?”
“I get it,” she said quietly. “It’s a big step. Sometimes, when you reach a goal, you don’t always know how to feel about it. Especially when it feels like it came all at once.”
You took a sip of your drink. “And it’s weird... because I thought I’d feel proud. And I do, but there’s also this... pressure. Like, we just debuted, and now we’re expected to keep getting better. To keep doing more.”
Her eyes softened, taking a step closer to you. “You don’t have to have it all figured out right now,” she said, her voice steady and full of conviction. “It’s okay to feel a little lost. We’re all in this together. And I know you. You’ve always been determined, but you also care deeply about making every step count. You’ll find your way. Don’t let the pressure take away from the moment we’ve earned.”
You looked at her, surprised by how much those words grounded you. Chae-rin wasn’t one to sugarcoat things, but when she spoke, it always felt like she understood exactly what you were going through. You hadn’t expected this level of comfort from her, but in that moment, it meant everything.
“I don’t want to let the pressure get to me,” you admitted, lowering your glass. “But sometimes I feel like I’m supposed to be... perfect. You know? Like, we all have our roles to play, and I don’t want to mess it up.”
She gave you a small, knowing smile. “We’re all figuring it out. And trust me, you’re not alone in that feeling. You think I haven’t had moments where I felt like I wasn’t doing enough? Or that I was missing something important? We all get caught up in the idea that we have to have it all figured out, but that’s not the reality of it.” She paused for a moment, letting her words settle. “The important thing is that you’re doing it. We’re all doing it. You’ve come this far for a reason, and it’s not because you’re trying to be perfect. It’s because you have something real to offer. Don’t let anyone—including yourself—convince you otherwise.”
You felt a small weight lift off your shoulders, hearing her say it out loud. Sometimes, the doubt and fear could be overwhelming, but hearing those words from Chae-rin made everything feel just a little more manageable.
“Thanks,” you said softly, your voice a little shaky. “I needed to hear that. I think I’ve just been holding everything in, trying to be ‘on’ all the time.”
Chae-rin’s expression softened, and she placed a hand on your shoulder. “You don’t have to do it alone. You’ve got the girls, and you’ve got me. Don’t forget that. We’re not just teammates—we’re a family. And we’ve got your back.”
The sincerity in her voice hit you harder than you expected, and for a moment, you could feel the tears threatening to surface. But you quickly blinked them away, grateful for her words and for the quiet strength she always seemed to radiate.
“You’ve also got the boys. I mean, you saw them out there, right? Our number one fans.” Both of you couldn’t help but to laugh at the thought of the way they were screaming their support from the crowd.
“Thanks,” you whispered again, this time a little more sure of yourself. “I think I just needed to hear that I’m not expected to be perfect. I’m not even sure where I got that idea from.”
“Everyone gets caught in that mindset sometimes,” she said, offering a small chuckle. “Just don’t let it control you.”
You both stood there for a moment, the noise from the living room growing fainter as the conversation between you and Chae-rin deepened. In that moment, you realized that despite all the pressure and uncertainty that came with debuting, you weren’t alone. You had your team, your family—your sisters—and they’d be there every step of the way.
With a final squeeze on your shoulder, Chae-rin gave you a wink. “Now, come on. Let’s get back out there before the others think we’ve abandoned them.”
You chuckled, feeling lighter than you had in hours. “I think I need some time to myself, my social battery is drained. But, seriously, thank you.”
“Of course.” She nodded with a small but genuine smile. “Anytime.”
“I’ll be on the roof if you need me,” you clarified, in case somebody really did need to reach you.
The cool night air felt refreshing against your skin as you stood on the roof, away from the noise and chaos below. The city lights flickered in the distance, casting long shadows across the rooftops, but in this moment, everything felt still. You let out a quiet breath, your mind replaying the night’s performance, the teasing, the congratulations, and the deep conversation with Chae-rin. It was all so surreal—everything you had worked for, everything you had dreamed of. Yet, even now, as you stood here, alone with your thoughts, you couldn’t shake the pressure that had settled in your chest. There was a sense of responsibility that weighed heavy on you. You couldn’t afford to let down the people who had supported you—your team, your family, the fans. But for the first time tonight, you let yourself feel proud of what you’d accomplished, even if it was just a small victory in the grand scheme of things. You had made it this far. You had earned this moment. Maybe that was enough, for now.
A quiet peace settled over you as you stood there, your thoughts drifting away from the bustling celebration downstairs. It felt nice to have a moment of calm, even if it was just for a little while. But then you heard the unmistakable sound of footsteps, and before you could turn around, a voice cut through the stillness.
“You know, you shouldn’t be out here by yourself. The night’s still young.”
You turned, startled to find Ji-yong standing just a few feet away, leaning casually against the railing with a small grin on his face.
“Ji,” you said, blinking in surprise. “I didn’t even know you were in the building. Did you guys stop by to celebrate after the performance?”
“Yeah, we came by,” he replied with a shrug, stepping closer. “But we thought you and the girls might want some time to yourselves. I didn’t want to interrupt. But, now that I’m here... looks like you could use some company.”
“And here I was, thinking you were too cool for group celebrations.”
His eyes twinkled with mischief. “Who do you think I am? I’m here to celebrate you, of course,” he said with a wink. “You and that lucky bracelet. How could I not?”
You chuckled, crossing your arms as you leaned against the railing, mimicking his casual stance. “You’ve really taken the whole ‘lucky charm’ thing and run with it, haven’t you?”
He grinned, his confidence palpable. “Why wouldn’t I? I picked the perfect accessory, didn’t I? I’m just saying... maybe it’s more than just luck.”
Your heart skipped a beat, but you quickly masked it with a teasing tone. “What are you trying to say?” you asked, raising an eyebrow, your voice light but curious.
He took a small step closer, his voice lowering just a bit, his gaze flicking briefly to the bracelet on your wrist. “I’m saying... maybe you’re the one who’s lucky.”
You glanced up at him, your heart hammering in your chest. His words were teasing, but there was an underlying seriousness to them now, a tension that was building between the two of you.
“Is that so?”
He took another step forward, and now, he was standing much closer than you expected. You could feel the heat of his body, the space between you two practically nonexistent. “I think so,” he said softly, his voice low, sending a shiver down your spine. “But I guess we’ll find out, won’t we?”
Before you could respond, Ji-yong was even closer, his body nearly pressed against yours as he leaned in. His hands moved to the railing behind you, caging you in, his arms locking you in place as you felt your breath catch in your throat. He was now leaning over you, his presence overwhelming and intoxicating.
Your heart raced in your chest, and your breath hitched as you tried to steady yourself. “Ji, you—” you started, but your voice faltered as you looked up at him. His eyes were dark with something you couldn’t quite place.
“I don’t bite,” he teased softly, a smirk tugging at his lips. “Unless you want me to.”
You swallowed hard, unable to keep the smile off your face as you met his gaze. There was a mixture of playfulness and something else in his eyes, something deeper, but you couldn’t quite put your finger on it.
“And what if I do want you to?”
“Well, then I guess you’ll have to let me know.”
You shivered, your pulse quickening at the closeness of him. “I think you’re already too close,” you teased, trying to pull back, but the railing behind you kept you trapped in place.
“Maybe,” he said, his voice full of quiet amusement, but his hands on the railing tightened, keeping you right where you were. “But I’m not going anywhere. Not until you admit you’re at least a little curious about what comes next.”
The boldness of his words hung in the air, and despite your teasing, your heart was hammering, and the air between you two felt thick with unspoken words. You licked your lips, feeling the pressure of the moment, unable to pull away and unable to deny the electricity running through you.
“Curious, huh?” you murmured, your voice a little breathless now, and you gave him a sly smile. “Maybe you’ve got me slightly curious.”
He leaned in a fraction closer, his lips just brushing against your temple as he whispered, “That’s all I need to know.”
"Ji..." you whispered, your voice trembling just the slightest, barely audible in the stillness. His name felt so natural on your lips, but now it was more than just his name—it was a plea, an invitation.
His eyes softened, and for a moment, there was a flicker of something vulnerable in his gaze. But then, he leaned in, slowly, almost as if giving you the space to back away, to stop him. But you didn’t move. You didn’t want to.
Ji-yong’s lips hovered just inches from yours, and you could feel the electricity between you two intensifying, crackling in the air. His breath mingled with yours as he spoke again, his voice barely above a whisper, “I’ve wanted this for a while now...”
And then, without warning, he closed the distance between you, his lips brushing against yours softly at first. The contact sent a shock of warmth through your entire body, and you instinctively leaned into him, your hands reaching up to wrap around the back of his neck. His hand found its way to your waist, pulling you slightly closer, and his lips deepened the kiss just enough to send your pulse soaring.
For a moment, everything faded. The crowd downstairs, the loud celebration, the teasing banter—none of it mattered. It was just the two of you, locked in this kiss, and everything else felt like it didn’t exist.
Ji-yong’s lips moved against yours with a gentleness that was almost unexpected, but there was still a hunger, a desire, beneath it all. His hand moved to cup your face, his thumb brushing against your cheek in the softest motion. You responded in kind, your hands finding their way to his chest, fingers grazing the fabric of his shirt as you tried to pull him even closer, if that was even possible.
When he finally pulled away, just enough for both of you to catch your breath, his forehead rested gently against yours. His eyes were still closed, his chest rising and falling in time with yours.
“Ji-yong?”
“Yeah?” He opened his eyes again, his own breath hitching in his throat as he took in your beauty once more. “What is it, jagiya?”
“Kiss me.”

Gonna be honest with u, I have a big kink for people with mommy issues because they're treating me like a fucking goddess (and i think you know who i am at this point, and this question is a little bit awkward now tbh, but i HAVE to ask this:)
Kolivan/Sendak/and two other galra (or not-galra) of your choice with mommy issues X dom[if possible!] momfriend reader?
And can you add their reactions if the reader calls them a "good boy/girl"?
Thx!
Yk i love your writing <3
I'm not really the best at this kind of thing and I'm probably getting this wrong, but I'll give it a try anyway.
😊💕✨️💖
_________________________________________
~ Kolivan ~
~ Kolivan had a mother when he was very young, but one day she disappeared and he never saw her again
~ Because of that, he grew up with mommy issues
~ Kolivan grew up without the gentle love of a mother, and even though he had a great relationship with his father he always felt that something was missing in his life
~ Until he met you, that is
~ You almost immediately know what's going on in this man's life as soon as you meet him and you take on the motherly role he never had growing up
~ Within a few months of his friendship with you Kolivan slowly becomes less cold and stoic
~ He will do anything for you just to hear you praise him
~ Loves being called a good boy, because it heals his soul
_____
~ Sendak ~
~ Sendak had both of his parents around during his childhood, but his mother was always dismissive towards him
~ She always preferred his sisters over him
~ And because of it, he ended up with mommy issues
~ Sendak secretly has self image issues and he's never sure how to treat women; he feels betrayed by his mother no matter how old he gets
~ Of course, that changes after he meets you
~ You treat him far better than his mother ever did and you're just so motherly,
~ After Sendak pours his heart out to you, you work on being the mother he deserves
~ With time, Sendak feels more complete and he's not as aggressive; he also treats you like a queen
~ Each time you tell Sendak he's a good boy, he shows his appreciation for you by giving you a hug while purring deeply
_____
~ Narti ~
~ Narti never really knew her parents because they abandoned her at an orphanage shortly after she was born
~ As you can imagine it caused some issues for her, especially mommy issues
~ She's secretly very anxious all the time until she meets you
~ You have a motherly aura and she's immediately drawn to you
~ For Narti, it feels as though she found a missing part of her life
~ She tries her best to be the best official unofficial daughter you could have ever asked for
~ And if you ever call her a good girl? Narti feels as though her life is truly complete
_____
~ Lotor ~
~ Lotor never really knew who his mother was when he was a child and it created some issues; mommy issues, mainly
~ He refuses to believe that Haggar is his mother even though she is, for him it's just easier to deny that fact
~ However, when Lotor gets to know you better he realizes how mother-like you can be sometimes
~ He treats you like a Goddess and he would never, ever do anything you wouldn't approve of
~ You think he's sweet and look out for him as much as you can
~ Whenever you call Lotor a good boy he finally feels truly loved

Hello hello!
I was wondering if you write for any of the BOM members.
If so can I get angst to fluff, Kolivan and Ulaz (separately) with a medic s/o who is a member of team voltron and they get poisoned?
If not, then Shiro, keith, and lance with the same scenario.
I do believe at this point only God knows when this ask was sent in, I'm like really bad at answering reqs in a timely manner but I think everyones aware of this at this point.
I absolutely LOVED this plot idea and may or may not be writing additional parts for the Paladins as well lol
as always, I hope you enjoy! please feel free to comment/reblog with your thoughts🫶
c/w: poison; medical facility; mentions of fighting; badly written 'fight' scene; Kolivan gets wounded in his and reader is the one wounded in Ulaz's; reader is a medic so if you don't like depictions of medical practices, even briefly, this probably isn't your fic love; Ulaz’s got out of hand and is more of a small one shot than a scenario. my bad.

For as long as you could remember, you had always wanted to be a doctor. Your dream was to help people. You'd joined the Garrison Space Program in hopes of getting the opportunity to further your knowledge in multiple areas of medicine, quickly working your way into position of field medic.
Getting the chance to actually go to space had never been in your plans, you liked having your feet on the ground, where you could be more useful. But signing up for the Garrison didn't leave you with much choice in such matters.
The mission was supposed to be straight forward and to the point, you were hardly even needed. The people in charge wanted you there for the soul purpose of logging the members vitals. Collect scientific data so that the Garrison can use it for their next generation of space suits.
You had only wished it'd been that simple.
It was difficult to tell time in space. Your easiest guesses had been the rotation of meals and when you and the other prisoners were let out to fight in the gladiator pits. You loathed the days you were meant to fight and mostly kept to yourself in order to attend to wounded prisoners best you could.
When Shiro had told you he was busting out, you hadn't even hesitated in packing up any medical scraps you had left and leaving them with your apprentice of sorts. Promising to return to free the rest of the prisoners. Neither of you wanted to leave them there, but getting both of you out would be hard enough.
Getting back to Earth proved far easier than you'd anticipated with the Galran technology. You'd tried to attend to Shiro's arm best you could while he piloted the two of you home.
Home. You honestly thought you'd never see it again.
The landing was, rough. But you'd survived, and then you'd been treated as if you were a threat. Saved by a bunch of cadets before you could be transported back to the Garrison, where you probably wouldn't have seen the light of day for a good while.
Thinking back on those early days, how you'd come to be with the Paladins of Voltron in the Castle of Lions, was almost nostalgic despite not having been so long ago.

Kolivan
Organizing some of your equipment, you tried to busy yourself to not think of the mission they were on. Trying not to get too concerned for the team you'd come to think of as your family. Trying not to think of the one you'd come to love.
Before you could spiral into worst case scenarios, the door to your clinic burst open, Keith holding it open while Antok carried an unconcious Kolivan through the threshold, gently placing him on your table.
You were in full doctor mode before he was down, already gathering up various tools to check his vitals.
"What's the situation?" You asked to no one in particular.
"I think he's been poisoned. He was grazed and just collapsed not long after."
“Are you hurt?” A quick scan told you Keith was relatively unharmed.
“No, it’s just Kolivan.”
Cursing under your breath, you started searching for the wound, making quick work of cleaning it and patching it up after pulling a blood sample from it.
"Get this to Pidge, tell her to run it with every type of poison we have, I need to know what was on that blade." Keith was out of the room before you couldn't even finish.
You prepped every antidote you had or could make, waiting to hear back from Pidge.
Satisfied with your preparation, you turned all your focus and energy to Antok, checking him over for injuries and checking his vitals until he huffed out an “I’m fine.” taking up position by the door and watching you as you began to pace, no more concerns left to keep your mind busy from your bedridden lover.
"Y/n."
Kolivan's voice was hoarse, but very much real. You felt tears spring to your eyes as you turned to look at him.
"I'm okay." He tried to sit up, stopping only due to your hand on his shoulder, pushing him back down on to the bed.
"Okay or not you're going to stay put until I say otherwise."
It wasn't much longer before Keith returned with the type of poison, and you had the antidote administered.
You watched as even Antok seemed to relax, he and Keith both leaving the infirmary to give you some space.
Kolivan watched in silence as you cleaned up your area, carefully stashing away every antidote for every poison you've ever come across or even just read about.
"I'm okay, my love." He says again.
"I know, but you're only okay because I know what I'm doing. You could have died today." You tried to keep the tears threatening to break at bay.
"But I didn't because you know what you're doing. I have nothing to fear if I have you."
You scoffed a laugh, glaring at him over your shoulder.
He just shrugged, holding open his arms for you. Crawling up onto the bed, you snuggled into his chest.
"The mission always comes first." He whispered, a reminder of the life you'd signed up for and willingly walked into the day you'd fallen for him.
"And I'm not saying it shouldn't, just that you don't have to be so reckless with your health."
"I am not reckless."
The pointed glare you shot him made him chuckle, holding you tighter.
"I'll always come back to you safe, my love."
"Safe enough at least." You grumbled, curling tighter around him, causing him to flinch slightly from pressure on his wound, and hold you tighter against him to keep you from pulling away because of it.
Tumblr media
Ulaz
You didn’t often find yourself actually in the thick of battle unless the Castle was, but even then there was a level of safety.
Finding yourself actually on a Galra cruiser was not common for you. At least not since you escaped your prison. But you’d sworn you’d be back for the ones you left behind, and after plenty of arguing back and forth, you found yourself tagging along with the paladins to do just that.
Moving about the ship to find your way to the cells felt like second nature, you and Shiro leading the way. The operation was going smoothly up until you passed the hall you wished you could forget.
Ulaz had lived on that hall. Forth door on the left, knock twice, wait, knock twice again. It was ingrained in you, just as the safest path to it was.
You'd tried not to think of Ulaz or your time together on the ship, it was easier not to than to ponder what might've become of him. Had he been made? Would the other Blade's have gotten him out if he had? Was he even still alive?
Time wasn't a commodity you had as you found yourself in the cells, already wrapping up any wounds that needed immediate care and taking note of what could be done once back on the ship.
You'd been far too focused on assisting the wounded, you'd forgotten the dangers of mission and the fact that could easily turn into a battle.
The prisoner you were helping screamed just a moment too late and you felt searing pain as a blade made contact with your arm. You hardly had time to look at your attacker before all you saw was the back of a Galra soldier.
Breathing a weary sigh of relief, you finished your work and urged the prisoner to follow the others, before taking a quick assessment of your wound and the room around you, smiling when Ulaz dropped to his knees beside you.
"What can I do to help?" He asked earnestly, checking your wound himself.
"I think there was poison on the blade, so if I fall unconscious, get Pidge, the Green Paladin, to run a test to figure out what type, I should have the antidote-"
"Get away from them!" Ulaz grunted as he blocked Keith's attack.
"No, stop. He's not hurting me."
The Paladin's all looked at you like you were insane. "He's Galra, Y/n." Hunk stated incredulously. "You're literally bleeding."
"And he dispatched the one that made me bleed. Look I'll explain on the ship, but lets get these prisoners to safety."
Lance moved to pick you up, but Ulaz tightening his grip and standing effortlessly with you stopped him.
"Lead the way, Paladin." He said gruffly.
Somewhere between the holding cells and the lions, you lost consciousness entirely. Comforted by Ulaz’s presence and the knowledge you’d be safe as long as he had you.
“We’re just going to let him stay here? What if he’s leading them right to us?”
“He hasn’t left Y/n’s side for longer than it takes to go to the bathroom, does that really seem like someone who’d compromise them?”
“He’s Galra Keith.”
“And when have the Galra ever not been completely forthcoming with exactly how they feel about us? Face it Lance, even the Galra have emotions and aren’t all bad.”
“But he was on a Galra fleet cruiser, that’s not exactly a green flag.”
“Y/n trusts him, so we at least need to hear them out.”
“Do they always talk this much?” Ulaz whispered.
You chuckled, followed by a coughing fit. Cracking open your eyes and squinting against the bright lights of your infirmary.
“This is mild for them.” Your voice was hoarse from lack of use. “You get used to it though.”
“Y/n!” Lance screeched, rushing to your side, shoving Ulaz away from you to check you over. “Keith, go get the others! Y/n how are you feeling? Do you need anything? What can I do to-”
You reached your hand up, covering his mouth. “Dim the lights, they’re gonna give me a headache. And don’t shove the love of my life away from me again or I swear I’ll leave all your healing to those ten thousand year old pods. Understood?”
His eyes widened in shock, looking between you, to Ulaz, and back again.
“Love of your life?” The muffled question felt just as incredulous as it was probably supposed to sound. Pinning him with what he dubbed the ‘Mom Eyes’ he quickly moved to dim the lights.
Ulaz returned to his spot beside you, gently pulling your hand up to his lips and kissing the back of it gently.
The other Paladins joined you, each taking turns to fill in the blanks of while you were out. Pidge informed you of the type of poison on the blade and how shocked she was that you actually had the antidote. Hunk mentioned the few survivors that have refused any type of healing, holding out for you to check them over. Finally, it was Allura that demanded to know why in the universe you thought bringing a Galra on board was a good idea. You just shrugged and shared a look with Ulaz.
“Because we’re married.”
The room filled with various amounts of confused faces, indignant squawks –yes, squawks– and a barrage of questions sounding over top others. Your voice couldn’t be heard even if you tried to answer any of them.
Ulaz brought the room to silence with a laugh, an honest to goodness full belly laugh unlike one you’d ever imagined getting from him. He looked at you fondly, kissing the back of your hand once more before turning to your team.
He filled them in on how you’d met while you were imprisoned, how you’d come to fall in love, the ceremony of a wedding the two of you had completely alone in his quarters, and finally of how he was instrumental in yours and Shiro’s escape. He told them that neither of you had ever expected to meet again after that. War wasn’t kind on anyone, but especially not on lovers.
When he’d been notified that there was an escape attempt happening at the cells you had been held in, he left his post to go check it out.
“Knowing Y/n, I almost expected their return for the captives. I needed to know they were safe if it was them. I truly mean all of you no harm. I just wanted to make sure my Y/n was safe.”
“What made you break away from the Galra in the first place? It’s cool you’re in love with our Doc, but you’re still Galra, no offence.”
“I was never truly affiliated with the Galra Empire. Much like you, I seek to bring it down. I was working on the inside as a spy when I met Y/n. I am just glad they are mostly safe now. Thank you Paladins, for caring for them while I couldn’t.”

The beginning of a battle of love
Rottmnt four kings au x reader
Tumblr media
There are four kingdoms in the land the
First mushroom kingdom in the east that was nice and calm and colorful that had the toads as there people. As they had a not of hold and the rulers castle was on the highest hill of the land for all to see.
There king well not really king since he called himself the prince instead of a king. There ruler Leo although was nice to the kingdoms even if there tule didn’t go to the importante meets or anything that was urgent.
Second in the north what the Koop kingdom that was known for there volcanic lands and many hot environments. That had koopas and gumbas as there people.
With militant lava lakes and rives and well and a castle have of stone and iron that was many in the ground but was also able to be mobile as well if wanted to be.
This kingdom was manly known for there battle and grate fighting army as well as defense, and a good king to go along with it.
The kingdom of the topas had there king Raph that looks to be very mean and scary at first glance.
With his spikes she’ll that poked throw his cape and scarp claw as and horns. Plus with how big he was also intimidated many. But Raph was a good king and a nice one at that even with his looks. Self training the army making the kingdom stronger and re building homes and places free of charge after a battle. He also unknown to many has a few fundraiser for children and orphanages in his kingdom.
Next in the West was the boos kingdom where all the boo’s and other ghostly creatures are. This kingdom always had a more 1900’s haunting house feel to it. But as well had a a constant climate of rain and thunderstorms.
The kingdom as well was many surrounded by a a big forest. That was almost dead looking giving more to that Victoria hunted ascetic.the homes were many mansions apartments had very few houses and hotels to stay in.
This kingdom had the castle of the king very deep into the forest, where it was very hard to find if he did try to go on foot m. If you weren’t part of the royal army, or someone sent specifically to the king, it would be a very hard chance for you to find it.
The castle looked more like a manner, but with this tall towers in some corners in a very distinguished look it did look like a very Victoria castle.
The king Donnie or rather Donatello as other officially call him. Was very proper and full the them with his kingdom. With his lavish suit and we’ll as crown.
We was a very good king knew about politics, economy, and society. Although may not seem to many of his tracks, since he was rather cold to everyone, he does very much care about his kingdom, and as well as the most technical advanced kingdom of them all.
Lastly was the boom kingdom in the south in the middle of the desert. Although to many it way not seem like the best place for a kingdom but this kingdom was in a oasis areas that were semi close to each other.
The kingdom had brick walls to protect the areas from the sandstorms and others weather that passes by. Most of the people that live here were boomb’s that came in different sizes. There kings castle was like a Egyptian pyramid, or a Sandcastle mix.
The king on the surface seems so nice and cheery. They always had a smile on your face and as well always nice to the king another people even outside of the kingdom.
But do be warned under there kind face there were a literally a time boom of there pásense and kindnesses until they snapped and let out all there rage in a literal explosion.
There king Mikey was very artistic that not only was in painting and drawing. He also was in sculpture, culinary and pottery and many more things.
This king was the nicest out of them all but just like the phrase . This kings kindness is not a weakness or anything to take advantage off.
What happens when a human enters into this world through a old server pipe she found one day in a forest close to her home. As she wonders around from kingdom to kingdom making the kings of these kingdoms to fall for her. As looks for a way to get back to her world or to find what to do in this new home of hers?
Tumblr media
so I hope you all like this. And I made this after rewatching The Super Mario Bros. Movie again while babysitting my cousins. I still can’t believe I made this whole thing in less than a hour after rewatching the movie.
Should I continue with this story?

I've been writing again and it seriously feels strange writing about one or two of the oldest kiddos, a few of which are almost adults, having a crush on someone. It feels as though they were tiny only a few chapters ago, and now they're almost all grown up 😭

the second concert of the yg family power tour had come to its close. backstage, you found yourself in the dressing room with the other 2ne1 girls— atmosphere warm with laughter and the buzz of post-show energy.
you sat cross-legged on the couch, dabbing off leftover stage make-up with a wipe. bom had her legs stretched out over your lap as she laid beside you while scrolling on her phone. in your peripheral, you catch her steal a glance at you and snicker to herself.
you turn your attention to her, narrowing your eyes. “what are you doing..?”
min-ji leaned over the arm rest to peek. “are you reading fan comments again?”
bom grins and turns her screen to you. “read this one: the way tabi was looking at her? he may as well just propose already!”
you blink. “wait— is that me??”
the caption accompanied a photo of your group joining bigbang on the stage. it was a closeup of you and seung-hyun sharing a microphone.
chae-lin smirks from the vanity. “haven’t you heard? our fans are saying you’re the newest power couple.”
your jaw’s slack in disbelief. “just because we shared a mic.”
yours had malfunctioned during the performance, and seung-hyun was the closest person to you. he jogged over and leaned in to share it for the last verse of the song. it was a light-hearted moment, nothing more.
bom pokes your arm. “well seung-hyun has that thing about people touching him. look at how close he was!”
min-ji draws out a hum in a teasing tone. you roll your eyes, try to laugh it off. you were just good friends with seung-hyun— the girls knew that. it was nothing more than a silly fan theory.
still, you can’t ignore the strange pang in your chest. it wasn’t about what they think— it’s about him.
because the only person you’ve been sneaking around with when the lights go down wasn’t seung-hyun at all. it was ji-yong.
no one knew, of course. with the tour in full swing, there hadn’t been a right moment to tell your bandmates— not when the stage was the priority.
but now, with speculation swirling of you with another guy before ji-yong even had the chance to break the news to anyone… you knew exactly how he’d take it.
not well.

that night, the afterparty is in full swing. the tour staff were all packed into a private suite. you were tucked onto a couch with your 2ne1 girls and members of your team scattered around the room.
a speaker pulsed gently with bass from the corner. half-empty champagne flutes littered the room, heels kicked off across the floor, and the lingering scent of hairspray and perfume.
chae-lin’s lounging back, glass in hand as sandara’s head rests on her shoulder. bom’s perched next to you at the arm of the couch with her arm linked around yours. you all watched min-ji on the floor with your stylist, teaching her a new move she picked up from a backup dancer.
laughter and chatter floated around the room, warm and relaxed from the bubbly.
bom turned to you with a mischievous grin. “oh, i told seung-hyun about the shipping thing”
your eyes widen. “bom!”
playfully, you go to pull your arm away, but she holds you in place with a laugh.
“i’m sorryyy! it’s too funny. he said he would mess with you only a little,”
before you can protest, a round of laughter explodes through the wall from the next room— the unmistakable chaos of the bigbang boys. you hear shot glasses clinking, someone yelling (probably daesung). another voice howling in response. you can recognise seung-hyun’s deep laugh.
somewhere in the mix, you know ji-yong’s there too. the day has only spared you both fleeting glances and quick exchanges. you missed him a little.
you take a sip of your drink just as seung-hyun saunters into the room like you’ve all been expecting him— his sunglasses from the show still on, a futile effort to hide how drunk he was.
“where have you been? your girl’s been missing you,” bom calls out to him with a grin. you swat her shoulder, muffling a reply mid-swallow.
“oh yeah,” he tilts his head, mouth curling in a smirk.
seung-hyun sashays over to you with exaggerated, provocative steps. you drop your head into your hands as the girls giggle.
seung-hyun plays into the act, throwing an arm around your shoulder and leaning in close. “you like?”
the room erupts. min-ji gasps with a chuckle. chae-lin whistles. you even hear a dramatic “oooh?” at the door as one of the boys walk in.
you duck your head to hide the smile creeping onto your face. seung-hyun starts making smooching noises at your ear, and you lightly shove him away.
“you guys look good together,” sandara coos with a knowing grin.
you shake your head, waving her off. your eyes flicker to the side briefly— noticing ji-yong now at the door with youngbae at his side. leaning against the frame, drink in hand. face unreadable.
he’s chuckling faintly along with the others, but his smile isn’t reaching his eyes.
after the moment passes and the conversation shifts subject, you forget to bring it up to him later.

the following day was a blur of sound checks, fittings, and half-eaten meals on the go. between your scattered errands, ji-yong shot you a text about an opening in his schedule— so you quickly arranged for a brief encounter.
you’d finally found a moment alone, except there was no time to go back to the hotel. you both settled with tucking away into a small, dim storage room of the venue.
there wasn’t much words before he pulled you in by the wrist— shutting the door to press you against it, mouth already on top of yours.
ji-yong’s hands are everywhere. impatient, demanding— like he’s been holding this in for far too long. and he has.
your neck cranes back from the force of his kisses. he’s pinning you to the door with his hips, hands holding your body tight like someone might steal you away.
he fumbles with your waistband, unceremoniously tugging your pants down just enough for him to get a hand in.
there’s no sweetness in the way he takes you.
ji-yong digs two fingers into you till the knuckle, drinking up your gasps onto his tongue as he curls his fingers relentlessly.
he turns his attention to your neck— sucking kisses onto the skin, dangerously close to the point of leaving a mark.
your head’s spinning, you almost don’t take notice of how he’s absentmindedly bucking into your leg as if he was fucking you.
ji-yong fingers you like he’s got a point to prove. he pulls his face back to watch your reaction as his thumb moves to swirl circles onto your clit— mouth parted with a pant as you stammer out his name.
“where, hah… is this c—”
he shushes you with a kiss to the lips, slipping another finger into your cunt. you’re seeing stars.
you’re not used to him being so fervent. for the few times you’d been intimate up to this point, he’d taken his time with you. drawn the moment out. but even now his haste was still getting the job done.
he smothered the cry of your orgasm with a kiss to your lips. for a moment, the only sound of the room was your muffled moans into ji-yong’s mouth and his hand rutting against you.
as your body went slack, ji-yong kept you propped against him, pressing sweet kisses into your hair while you caught your breath.
in your hazy, post-orgasm state: an image flickers across your mind. that look on ji-yong’s face last night as seung-hyun wrapped his arm around you.
only then, you realise: he’s jealous.
you straighten up, fumbling in your pocket for your phone— eager to steer your mind from flitting thoughts, wondering why ji-yong cared so much.
you shined your phone light on his shirt, smoothing out the creases, brushing through his tousled hair. tidy up the manhandling. ji-yong lets you, watching with a weighted gaze.
“what was that with seung-hyun last night?” he asks, tone too forced to be casual.
your fingers stalling at the back of his neck. “he wasn’t serious.”
he lifts a brow, clearly unamused. “really? and what about the girls?”
you look away, clicking your teeth. “it’s just this fan ship that they’re teasing me about. no one meant anything by it, okay?”
ji-yong scoffs. “so people think you’re dating seung-hyun, and they find that hilarious.”
“it’s not like they believe it, ji.” you say softly.
but he’s still looking at you with his jaw tense, like he’s barely restraining how he really feels at the idea of anyone else being seen with you in such a way. the way you and ji-yong actually were.
he steps closer, breath fanning your face. “next time they want a joke, i’ll show them something real.”
you shift your weight— uneasy at his sudden intensity. “and what’s that?”
the corner of his lip curls. “like kissing you.”
you shake your head, gently pushing him back with a hand on his chest. “you don’t need to do that.”
you steer the conversation to where he’s headed after this, trying to keep the tone light-hearted. but, under your palm, you had felt how tense he was. he’s serious about what he said.
ji-yong pokes his head out of the door to check that the coast is clear before you both step out. he escorted you back to your team, daring to close his hand around yours in quiet hallways.
there’s a certain energy hanging in the air as you walk. you keep your gaze forward, focused— ignoring how you kept catching him steal glances at you in your peripheral.
the way he’s been looking at you; there’s something different about it.
you swallow thickly. you really didn’t think seung-hyun’s bit would leave such a bitter taste on ji-yong. it’s not like you had anything solid that seung-hyun could threaten, anyways. you’ve just been meeting up casually— scratching each other’s backs. that was all.
right?
you glance at him: catching a twitch of his jaw, and him taking his cheek between his teeth like he’s willing himself to stay silent.
maybe he’s questioning it all too.
as you neared the room, ji-yong slowed at your side, pressing a soft kiss to your temple before letting his hand glide from your back.
without a word, he slipped away, disappearing around the corner just as you stepped foot in the door. his touch lingered on your skin— the only evidence he was with you at all.
Tumblr media
the hours leading up to the next concert drag on, thick with tension. everyone’s gliding from one station to the next, buzzing with the pre-show adrenaline— everyone except ji-yong.
he’d been noticeably quiet: short with his sentences, brushing past people with a tight jaw. every so often, his eyes would flick to you like he’s checking you’re still there, before his gaze shifts the next instant.
you try to suppress the way it bothers you— focusing on chatting with min-ji as you both waited for final touch-ups.
but when seung-hyun strolls over to you with a sly grin, it’s palpable how the energy of the room shifts.
“there’s ma girl,” he drawls in english, loud enough for heads from both groups to turn.
you hear bom giggling in the corner as seung-hyun teasingly twirls a strand of your hair around his finger. you swat his hand away.
“oppa, don’t mess up my hair.”
seung-hyun only chuckles, slinking an arm around yours. “stop being a tease! you know you like.”
you try to play along as the others laugh, but your eyes automatically lock with ji-yong’s. he’s standing off to the side, arms crossed over his chest. after a beat, he silently excuses himself from the room.
you clear your throat, gently slipping out from under seung-hyun’s arm. you mumble that you’re quickly ducking out to the bathroom.
you catch up with ji-yong just outside the dressing rooms, yanking him into a dim corner by the wrist.
“what is your deal?” you snap under your breath.
ji-yong tugs his arm back, but he doesn’t move away. “you.”
you blink, scoffing. “me?”
he runs a hand through his hair, looking like he’s two seconds from exploding. “you’re just letting him put his hands all over you in front of everyone, like you’re not already—”
“it’s meant to be funny, ji.” you cut in, voice pleading. “you don’t have to take it to heart.”
“yeah? well i’m not laughing.” ji-yong sneers, stepping closer. “you think i like seeing someone else act like that with you?”
for a moment, the silence is loud. you hold ji-yong’s stare as the words sink in. his eyes dart over your face, heated gaze softening. you sigh.
“why do you care so much anyways?” you murmur. you’re not sure you’re even prepared for his answer. “aren’t we just.. messing around?”
ji-yong stares at you— and you almost want to tell him nevermind, you don’t want to hash this out. but then he shakes his head, leaning in until his nose nudges yours.
“can i be selfish?” his voice is raw. “i can’t keep just ‘messing around’. i want more.”
you gasp quietly as his hands find your waist, pulling you flush against him.
“i need more.” his lips ghost over yours. “of you.”
he stills himself with a shaky exhale. your stunned silence leaves him uncertain, and ji-yong goes to pull away— afraid he’s overstepped.
but before either of you can even process you, you’re grabbing his face and crashing his mouth onto yours.
it’s messy and urgent, all teeth and desperation. you need him just as much. his hands come to find purchase on your waist, guiding you to the wall behind.
your hands thread through his hair, fucking up the hairspray, as well as the labour of your poor stylists.
ji-yong’s kissing you desperate and hard— every bit of frustration and longing channeled into the way his tongue swirls in your mouth. you’re left dizzy, pressing your body closer into his; eager to feel all of him.
and then a voice echoes from around the corner.
“hyung! gee eun’s asking for you!” daesung calls, impatient and completely oblivious.
you and ji-yong didn’t have time to make yourselves presentable before daesung rounded the corner, catching you both in a failing attempt to act normal.
ji-yong’s hair was a mess, your face was flushed— and you were both too short of breath to try and explain this to daesung.
his face splits into a smile, taking in the sight of you two caught off-guard.
well, since you and ji-yong had just established the grounds of something more serious… no time like the present to break the news to the others.
