i love how fennec shand's whole character arc is just clones all the way down.

i bet when she woke up after being operated on to find herself looking into the face of yet another clone she was like "of course" and kept stepping.

I'm obsessed with the vulnerability in Fennec's eyes.

Like when the thing happened to her... that's a hell of a lot more emotion than just pain and shock. One hell of a last moment before blackout. I read desperation and anguish. Like secretly she's always hoped for a better life but never believed her time could actually run out.

And then, when her gentle saviour stabs her with a dead-on identification...

...we see a momentary glint of hope die away, as disillusionment slams down full-force from blackout into a much blacker light of oh right, this mofo's no different than anyone else. Wasn't outta the goodness of his kriffin' heart, that he pried me from the jaws of death.

She's more alone than ever, is what I read in her eyes, now that she's got this silent man's number. She might be Master Assassin, but this one hurts.

Boba has five friends and he’s dating two or three of them

Boba x Fennec fanfic idea that I will probably never get around to writing:

1) Scars. One night, they're up late swapping stories, which turns into competitive scar comparisons. What started as just a silly game, suddenly becomes more sensual as bared skin is explored with both eyes and hands. The "what about the scars in the inside?" line gets worked in there somehow.

2) Family. One morning at the dining table, Fennec realizes that she basically got married, bought a house, adopted some teens, and rescued an ugly dog (and his pet Rancor). She laughs to herself, because they aren't really a family, even though they are beginning to look like one. But then Boba makes an offhand comment that is carelessly domestic. She admits to herself that she has found someone she would actually die for without a second thought or regret. She watches him eat his breakfast and it finally dawns on her that she loves him.

3) Legacy Angst. Fennec watches Din and Grogu playing together and feels a pang of regret that she never had a child of her own, and now never will. Boba senses her mood and understands. He remembers his childhood with his father and admits he has wondered what it would be like to be on the other side of that relationship himself. Shared pain leads to tears, comfort, and more...

Chapter 2: Several months later, a reunion with Omega (who has become an accomplished geneticist) provides the answer for both of them. Omega can help them both have a child.

Well, yes, you know: I’m just as excited for the Book of Boba Fett as the next guy. Hell, I’m excited for Fennec Shand’s appearance in the Bad Batch too.

Honestly, I think sometimes when I’m working on a new piece for the store, I’m just trying to channel my anticipation into a more constructive outlet.

(I’m choosing either art or fanfiction, let’s be honest.)

Soooo... right. Boba Fett & Fennec Shand (”bobennec”) are in shop as a set of magnetic bookmarks, and on their own as individual singles. Frankly, I prefer this tag team together so that’s what I’m running with for the moment. (FRENS!)

If my to-do list is accurate, I’ll also have a helmet-less Fennec available in this pairing shortly (providing I can get through my photo editing backlog quickly enough.)

For the moment, you can nab Fennec on her own without the helmet here, and Boba Fett is on his woobie wee lonesome here.

So I don't know if you have heard of it but there is a new ship going around for boba x fennec (Idk the ship name but I've been calling it Bobennec) and I was wondering what your thoughts on it are.

My thoughts (or are they thots?) on their dynamic can best be summed up in a poem I wrote back when I was seventeen and believed I was filled with Angst™:

The world walked away and left us for dead, but it should have checked it's work instead. Too late, it had its chance to learn, so how 'bout you and me make this world burn?

On a more serious note I have heard of it, and while Im not sure if I ship it, I have given their dynamic some thought because Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen kicking ass together is not something I am soon likely to forget. I don't see it as a romantic ship but they give me serious "Friends-with-excellent-benefits (like having a sniper to watch your back, or a tank on the ground)-and-the-sex-isn't-bad-either" vibes.

It will be interesting to see how their dynamic grows in the new show.

This was hard because I had five different ideas but I ended up going Rex cause I was still in a clone mood and he is vintage. I say that with the most love.
