Bruce Wayne/Michael Carter (Booster Gold):

Bruce is one of three people who take Booster seriously and respect him. Bruce knows of Michael's real mission of maintaining the timestream, even before Michael really does and comforts him when Michael doubts his heroic capacities. He also gives Michael and Ted 20 million dollars when they had to crowd fund their heroics bc they weren't voted into the JL and tells others to put their faith into Booster Gold. Booster tried to save Barbara and in doing so risked his life. He banters with Batman and holds him in high regards even after numerous conflicts.

They can probably relate to one another more than expected. Both are smart, hardworking people pretending to be arrogant and lazy (Bruce's whole billionaire playboy shtick and Michael's entire front he puts on as both hero and in private), Gothamites who experienced injustices young (Bruce and his parents' death and Micheal, whose father tried to frame him, so that he'll go to jail instead) and single fathers (Batkids and Rani & Rip)

In Here, Star Command is a bird rescue center, and Nebula is a veteran who became a rescuer after his retirement, aiming to take in and care for various injured omnivorous birds.

Of course, half of the reason behind this is that he has a certain aura about him that attracts birds.（LOL

u know i kinda wonder: since they dealt with evil gideon, the waverider that astra rebuilt doesn’t have an AI attached to it. n like im sure the ship can technically function without an AI, it just probably involves a lot more manual operations re: flying, maintenance of the ship, finding information, basically anything they could ask gideon to do in the past

HOWEVER. with the end of s7 they introduced booster gold. n in the lil comics they alluded to the fixers holding his robot sidekicks skeets hostage. now my hypothesis. my lil thought. and most importantly how i might be playing it with writing post canon stuff on the ship

their grand plan to fill the role of the AI on the ship might have been to hook up skeets to take over in gideon’s place
