In the last tutorial, we programmed depth first search and watched it explore a node graph. In this tutorial we will program breadth first search and watch it explore a grid.

The breadth first search algorithm will add every unexplored adjacent node to a queue, and explore all of the added nodes in sequence. For each node explored, it will continue to add the adjacent unexplored nodes to the queue. It will continue to do this until the goal is found or all connected nodes have been explored.

Starscream's persistent failure to install himself as the leader of the Decepticons would be something Edge could lord over him until one of them realises that actually they're probably about equivalent rank (Captain of the Royal Guard, Second in Command of the Decepticons) and then it's a stalemate again. Especially if you go with an interpretation of Edge that, like canon Papyrus, has not captured a human yet.

but also I feel like Starscream being essentially A Killer Robot would give him Cool Points in Edge's books... even though hes not a sexy rectangl- actually nvm Transformers G1 designs are pretty rectangular. I've made a joke about that before somewhere (if Mettaton was a Transformer his box form would just be a G1 styled design)

The terrible (and fun) alternative is that theyd somehow, somehow get along and end up making life miserable for everyone else. Begrudgingly get along. villainous plotting buddies.

I love the Case of the Two Dead Dragons ep for a lot of reasons, but the scene where they're talking to Twitchy Richie, like when they first start to mess with him is just so... perfect. Like the way Charles steps up and says "Ooh, try it, mate," his crossed arms coming down. And in the following scene when it shows just Richie & Crystal it's like "What's he going to do omg."

Except Crystal tilts her head with the stupid lighter in her face and it's Edwin that goes "Don't mind if I do." And Charles just looks so enamored and Crystal and Edwin are both so pleased with themselves.

I don't know. It's just the way they're working in tandem with each other for once. Not just with one another, but exactly in step. Crystal knew, without a word, that they'd play along. Edwin could've just let Charles do his thing, especially after what he said, after knowing they kissed (even if they broke things off right after). But it's like... Crystal is a part of their team now. He may not be super close to her yet, but they're both bitches /pos that of course this is the moment they fall in step. It's a shared trait that they were using to hurt and annoy each other, but now it's a bonding moment, a crossing of that divide between them.

So of course Charles lets them have their little moment and is so happy to do so. Whether it's queerplatonic or romantic, this is his best mate for 30 years and his new best friend. He knows they'd get along in their own way if they got through it. And here they are.

Finished that new fallout show. On the whole it was fine, but goddamn would it be way better if the writers had the basic confidence in themselves and the audience to stop having characters give plain-english, spoken-dialogue theses restating every other piece of clever abstract expression immediately after each one happens. Believe it or not, I think most people understand the symbolism of a rad-roach's design without having a scientist guy just awkwardly say it out loud.
