Right to the next one its father vs son its REY MYSTERIO VS DOMINICK MYSTERIO. Dominick arriving in a police van also in chains. Rey coming out in a low rider paying homage to the late great Eddie Guerrero. Another match with promotion in it this time Cinnamon toast crunch. Match starts Rey is ticked off here and he shows his hall of fame quickness he then whips Dominick with his belt,Dominicks mother and sister by ringside and Dominick goes after his sister but Rey stops her where Dominick takes over and takes advantage but Rey fought back until Dominick came back into it he then turned his attention to Angie his mother but she slapped him and then Rey kissed her,back in the ring now,Finn Balor and Damien Priest make thier way to ringside and Dominick is on top of his father,Rey hits the 619 but Damien took him out now here comes Legado Del Fantasma to improve the odds,Bad Bunny is on commentary here, Dominick with a 619 and a frog splash to no avail but Dominick exposed a top turn buckle then took a chain out of Damiens jacket but Rey hits another 619 followed by a senton for the W.

The next match will be RHEA RIPLEY VS CHARLOTTE FLAIR FOR THE SMACKDOWN WOMENS TITLE. Will it be a repeat of 3 years ago? The referee and ring announcer is a woman so an all woman match for the 1st time ever at WRESTLEMANIA. Rhea took it to the champion in the early going Charlotte rolls it back to her advantage with a cross body from the top rope. Rhea back in it now trying to make the champion tap out but Charlotte escapes and turns it around,both women jockeying for position but it was Charlotte with a DDT to Rhea she took advantage again,both women trade blows but with a kip up from Charlotte,then Rhea throwing Charlotte off the top rope. Back and forth now they go Charlotte goes for the spear on the outside but hits the steel steps,back in the ring now and Rhea hits a German suplex then the champion with a big boot to no avail. Rip tide from Rhea but nope,now a roll up and then a submission from Rhea but again nope. A spear from Charlotte and a kick out,Rhea then with a top rope ripe tide and wins the Smackdown womens title.

The Miz and Snoop Dogg in the ring Miz has an open challenge out cpmes Pat McAfee. Snoop Dogg makes a match, Pat takea it to Miz with a spine buster and then catching Miz with super kick. The action spills outside the ring,Miz talks trash to George Kittle who was in the crowd,Pat with a moonsault from the top onto Miz then back in and a punt kick to Miz for the dub.

So now it's the MAIN EVENT! it's THE USOS VS SAMI ZAYN AND KEVIN OWENS FOR THE WWE UNDISPUTED TAG TEAM TITLES . Very good match a great story telling one. Sami and Jey begin the match as Jey is in control until Kevin tags in and delivers senton bombs and splashes,in comes Jimmy. Spine buster by Kevin on the ring apron and cannon ball,Zayn back in and he hits a splash and close to winning. The Usos then on Sami until they double team Kevin outside the ring and put him through the announce table, then 1D to Sami but he kicks out then a helluva kick to Sami by Jey,Kevin back in delivering pop up power bombs and a stunner. Now a brawl is on,multiple super kicks delivered to Kevin then double splash and kick out,then from the top rope goes Kevin,Sami in and 3 helluva kicks to Jey to take the gold home with them.

day 12: holiday shopping: fetch

In Karen's opinion, Christmas is wildly overrated. Wow, big tree that makes a mess in the entire house. How nice, a bunch of overused music that they probably play in Hell. The birth of baby Jesus... awesome.

The fact that Gretchen doesn't celebrate it either just fuels her annoyance. It's like every store and radio station just assumes everyone's Christian. Last year, they tried to compromise and celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas. However, after Gretchen's menorah almost burned down Karen's tree and the entire house, they put a stop to that.

Karen's not really that interested in Christmas, anyway. However, Hanukkah? That's something she can get behind. This holiday season, she's made a point to try and learn all about it. And today, she's hopefully gonna surprise Gretchen.

Their main task today is simple: presents. They're heading to the mall to get presents for each other, Regina, Cady, and Janis. They were never the type to do the whole surprise gift wrap thing. It's better to get something they know they'll like- it's just as meaningful, just minus the suspense and 'hint hint's.

The first stop is See's Candy, both for the samples and for Cady, who has an unnerving obsession with white chocolate. See's doesn't have a box of white chocolates, so they're going to have to customize one, which means they're going for the divide and conquer approach; Karen will make the box while Gretchen rounds up sugar for them.

There's not much of a choice when it comes to white chocolate, so Karen goes for three of each of the white chocolate options, of which there are five, some caramels, and then fills in the gaps with caramel or marshmallow filled candies.

After the candy has been paid for and both Gretchen and Karen each have a chocolate bar for themselves, they head off to buy Janis some books at Barnes and Noble. However, they're deterred when they pass a Build-A-Bear.

"Can we go in? Can we please?" asks Karen.

"You are like a five year old," Gretchen sighs, but she's smiling. "Come on."

"Yay!"

Thankfully, there are no little children in the store to witness their shenanigans, although neither girl would really care if there were. "Do you want to get them for ourselves or for each other?"

"Ooh!" Karen ponders this new idea. "I say we do it for each other."

Gretchen smiles and gives Karen a little kiss on the cheek and they select their stuffies. For Gretchen, Karen selects a white bunny with dark brown eyes and a pink nose. For Karen, Gretchen picks up a pastel rainbow bunny. They both grin when seeing what the other has chosen for them.

"They can be sisters!" Karen says excitedly, hugging her unstuffed animal to her chest. Gretchen chuckles and does the same, leading Karen to the stuff machine thing.

"Alright," says a bored-looking employee who probably sees teenagers like this every day. "Jump up and down... spin around... give the heart a kiss... and press it into the bear. Mia? Sew this up?"

"Yep." A girl with hair dyed green takes the bear and sews up the back before passing it to Karen, who gives it to Gretchen to do her own heart.

"Same deal," says the teenage boy. "Jump, spin, kiss the heart, there you go." He takes the bear from her and tosses it to Mia, who sews it up and tosses it back.

"Do you guys want sounds or outfits?"

Gretchen glances at Karen, who just shrugs. "Nah, we're good," she replies.

"Cool with me," Mia says, gesturing across the room to the computers. "Name them there, we'll give you your certificates when you pay."

"Okay!" Karen takes Gretchen's hand and pulls her to the computers. "What are you naming it?"

"You name it."

"Ooh, okay. Don't look." Under belongs to, she puts Gretchen "its just a baby spidey" Wieners, in a callback to an event that does not need repeating. She pauses for a second before putting Mr. Soda Pop The Benevolent Third Sir of the Flannel Wagging Left Bundleflundle Pumpkin Shellios the Popsicle Cat Kittle (lol shoutout to my friend geist for that one) under full name. "Your turn!"

Gretchen kisses Karen on the head as they switch out of the chair and one of the employees scoffs in disgust. "Another cute couple."

"Hush up, Maximilian, you're just jealous."

"You hush up, Evangeline." The annoyed employee glances at Gretchen, who's trying not to laugh as she types cupcake into the name of the bunny followed by dearest care bear <3 into the owner's name. Maximilian pouts off to the back room as Evangeline rings them up.

"Sorry about him, he's annoying," she says. "28 dollars total."

"I'll pay," Gretchen says, laying a hand over Karen's. "Here." She passes the girl a 20 and a 10. "Keep the two."

They make an agreement to look at the names at home and, bears in hand, start going back towards Barnes and Noble. Gretchen plans on buying Janis a book about famous artists, and Karen's heard her mention the Mindwar trilogy a few times. Once they get into the store, they split up in search of their respective novels.

"Meet me by the Starbucks in 10?"

"Sure."

Gretchen finds what she wants relatively quickly, she simply goes to the non fiction section and looks until she finds a title mentioning Michelangelo. She walks down that shelf before picking up Art Through the Ages, a decently thick hardcover that should keep Janis occupied for a while.

Karen, however, searches for the series for ten minutes before finally getting around to asking a clerk, who lets her know that they don't have it. "Okay!" Karen replies, always the agreeable one, and wanders back toward the sci-fi section. Maybe she can't find Mindwar, but something? Seeing her struggles, the kind clerk approaches her.

"How's this?" She holds out Fahrenheit 451. "A classic."

"Oh. Sure!" Not knowing anything about the book she's been given, Karen takes it gratefully. "Janis will love it."

"Good." The clerk smiles at her and wanders off to help someone else. Still slightly confused, Karen goes to pay and meets Gretchen by the Starbucks.

"Did you find Mindwar?" Gretchen asks.

"Nah. Got this instead. Ever heard of it?"

"No."

"Me neither. Come on, let's get Regina's gift and then- uhh- yeah. Let's get Regina's gift."

Their plan for Regina is simple, just some candles. That girl loves scented candles more than almost anything. She has a collection of over two hundred. It's become a problem, but hey, it makes getting her gifts plenty easy.

Getting Regina's gifts is probably the easiest. Walk in, grab two candles, walk out. It doesn't matter to her what scent it is. Gretchen and Karen each pick up a three-wick candle- Gretchen gets lavender and Karen grabs a lemon one, a fine combination.

"That was a pretty quick trip, yeah?" Gretchen asks, grabbing Karen's hand. "We ready to go?"

"Actually, no," Karen says. "I was thinking we could get a menorah?"

Gretchen absolutely lights up. She knows Karen's never been that into the whole religion thing. She was completely prepared to celebrate a modified version with herself and her family. But sharing this with her girlfriend? Best holiday gift she could ever ask for.

"You mean it?"

"Yeah. I've seen how happy playing the- uh, the spinny thing makes you, and lighting the candles, and talking with your family. I want to learn about it so I can celebrate with you! I want you to teach me."

"You're serious?"

"Of course I'm serious!"

"Karen!" Gretchen gives Karen a quick yet fierce hug. "Thank you. I'm gonna teach you all there is to know about Hanukkah. I can't wait."

"Me neither, babe." Karen takes Gretchen's hand and lets her lead her through the mall, pointing things out and chattering excitedly, smiling in admiration as she watches. "I love you."

"Love you too. You're the best."

"Can't argue with that," Karen says, lying her head on Gretchen's shoulder. "Given how smart you are."

"Aww," Gretchen says with a tiny blush. "C'mon. Let's go get us a menorah."

Pyewacket

Pyewacket was one of the supposed familiar spirits of an alleged witch accused by the witchfinder general Matthew Hopkins in March 1644 in the town of Manningtree, Essex, England. Hopkins claimed he spied on the witches as they held their meeting close by his house, and heard them mention the name of a local woman. She was arrested and deprived of sleep for four nights, at the end of which she confessed and called out the names of her familiars, describing the forms in which they should appear. They were:

Holt, "who came in like a white kittling" (kitten)

Jarmara, "who came in like a fat Spaniel without any legs at all" (...ew)

Vinegar Tom, "who was like a long-legg'd greyhound, with a head like an Oxe" (don’t think a greyhound can support an ox-head but go off I guess)

Sacke and Sugar, "like a black Rabbet" (sacke is a sweet wine like sherry)

Newes, "like a Polecat" (A polecat is a ferret or possibly a weasel)

Elemanzer, Pyewacket, Peck in the Crown, Grizzel Greedigut, described as imps

Hopkins claims he and nine other witnesses saw the first five of these, which appeared in the forms described by the witch. Only the first of these was in the form of a cat; the next two were dogs, and the others were a black rabbit and a polecat – so Pyewacket was, presumably, not a cat's name. As for the other familiars, Hopkins says only that they were such that "no mortall could invent." The incident is described in Hopkins's pamphlet "The Discovery of Witches" (1647).

I was informed that Hopkins was paid sixpence per witch he found, and that getting tired of paying his expenses the Crown accused him of witchcraft and had him hanged. (In England Heretics were burned, witches were hanged.) I was supremely disappointed to discover Hopkins lived to the ripe old age of 28 and in fact died in his bed of TB.

I type this here ‘cos if demons and imps are gonna turn up in my life as kittens, bunnies and ferrets, my soul is long gone...

Captain Frances Pawdon Meowra Meowzier

A very good captain!

Operates at about 65 mph.

Born with a desperate need to explore many high places.

Attempts to eat anything and everything, even if it isn’t food.

Steals plates of food from her siblings. Will lay across food to protect it from anyone else; screams if anyone tries to get it away from her.

Enjoys the simple delight of biting ears.

Captain James Kitzjames

Named correctly. Is incredibly handsome!!

Also screams at having food taken away.

Passionate about his Van Gogh catnip toy (there isn’t even any catnip left in it) and fiercely protective over said toy.

Enjoys a good cuddle with his toy lynx.

Likes to sleep while embracing a sibling/human hand/a toy/anything.

Doctor Alexandra MacPawnald

Sleeps 20 out of 24 hours a day.

Hates being messy and will clean herself and anyone in her vicinity with zero prompting.

Has a vocalization like “wee-ee-eeeee!”.

Yes, she sleeps often. However, in the four hours she’s awake, she is unable to be caught.

Enjoys sleeping in the highest reachable place, which sometimes means on your shoulder or your head.

AB Johanna Pawtnell

Like her namesake, she was the first one to visit the vet! (She swallowed the tip of her bottle.)

Very beautiful! Google Earth is always taking pics and she’s constantly ready.

Incredibly cuddly. Wants to be held at the most inconvenient times.

A natural escape artist. No container on earth can keep her bound.

Gallops like a tiny, tiny horse.

Very stinky but very sweet.

Doctor Henry Goodpurr

The runt of the litter, but makes up for his small weight with all the love contained within!

Has an absolutely earshattering purr.

Enjoys attacking his toys by sprawling all of his legs out like a weird frog.

Charming and he knows it.

Loves sleeping under a person’s chin.

Will comb your hair regardless of if you want him to.

Lieutenant Edward Kittle

The ultimate crybaby. Cries when he’s upset. Cries when he’s happy. Cries in his sleep. Just crying all the time.

Very invested in his siblings. If one of them cries, he magically appears to comfort them.

Has the weirdest, wateriest meow.

Announces his pounces with a loud, gravelly, “ACK!”

Why does he have such a sad face? Who hurt this tiny man?

Lieutenant Georgie Pawdgson

So gentle! So cloud-like!

Incredibly small. More of a runt than Henry!

Peeps instead of meows. However, her peeps are loud.

Bunny hops when she runs! How wonderful!

Constantly drinks her body weight in formula.

Enjoys being in the center of her siblings’ cuddle puddle.

Sophie Cracroft

A torpedo made out of cotton fluff.

Slept on a pillow ONCE and now does not want to sleep anywhere else, unless someone offers to hold her.

Has dominion over a pile of socks she found.

Was born feral but will probably lie when she gets older and will claim she was born in a palace.

Half her body size is legit just fluff.

Back at it again with a couple more HC prompts, which imma just dump in one, and you can pick which ones you want. Puddles with the kiddos, family baking sessions when both are regressed, Ro wanting attention whilst Logan is reading, so climbing all over his book, how their reactions to new stuffies differ, regressed versus non-regressed birthdays.... Etc... 👍

okokokokok buckle up everyone

Puddles:

this is the only one where i have to be like .. i don't think so :0 see virgil can get very nervous when it rains because he's so anxious about 'is it gonna storm? will there be thunder? will we be hit by lightning? will there be a flood? what if one of us slips and hurts our head??' that he just cannot relax enough to be able to jump around in puddles because 'WHAT IF I SLIP IM GONNA DIE' and the wetness on his skin sets off the wrong sensory feelings so jumping in muddy puddles is a no for him (as much as he loves peppa pig)

and roman is a fussy little thing, he may not care as much for his appearance when he's small but i think he will still be conscious enough to notice if he gets wet hair and muddy clothes - plus i feel like roman's mood is quite tied to the weather, on dark days he tends to fee a little more gloomy, ao again not sure about this especially if he wouldn't have his baby brother there with him

Baking:

OH BOY so roman is a great cook okay? like chef level he has honed his skills so that he can make romantic meals for handsome princes, but baking? nu uh, too technical, he ain't got time for that. Patton is the baker of the house and makes cookies and cupcakes way too often for Logan's liking (but secretly he loves them of course, he's just concerned for everybody's teeths) but both CGs will cook dinner when the boys are little

When the boys are regressed they're not allowed much in the kitchen anymore. after roman tried to make breakfast in bed for his CGs and started a very small but very real fire he has lost some kitchen rights (ficlet coming to you at some point perhaps) and is not allowed in the kitchen without at least one CG. even if he can switch so quickly between headspaces, he ends up either 1) too stubborn to come out of little space, or 2) a kittle bit clumsy when he comes out of it

but to make up for roman being upset by this slight loss of independence (he is a big kid after all) patton and he do weekly baking sessions! and there's always a theme. most recently they had animal crossing themed cupcakes, a little mermaid themed jello (not technically baking but roman wanted to but little fish gummies in the jelly), and... the next one is a secret because i might put it in chapter 7 (: in fact chapter 7 will feature the first instance of this tradition!!

virgil has pyrophobia (fear of fire) and so is never keen to be in the kitchen while there's food preparation going on (but he was allowed to help with the under the sea jello!!) so roman and pattons baking sessions are an excuse for mama and baby bonding time! the tradition didn't start until after virgil's separation anxiety from patton had eased up a little so luckily there's barely any tears

mama baby bonding time consists of but is not limited to: sitting on mama's lap, doing puzzles together, (vee trying to suck on a puzzle piece and crying when he's told not to), mama reading baby books to vee, vee touching all the textures and flaps in the baby books, snuggles

Ro wanting attention while Lo is reading:

this is 1000% canon!! later in the series logan will often be at work in his room and have the boys with him because patton is busy with something or another. they realise they really do need to keep working for thomas' sake but manage to integrate the boys' littlespaces into it. Eg. logan dangling baby plastic keys from one hand to amuse girgil while he's typing with the other

but when it's quiet time, when patton is in virgil's room because the baby is having a nap and papa wants to watch over him, when roman hasn't been little because he's been working or simply not in the mood earlier that day, when logan is just chilling, just reading a stephen hawking book in the living room, when he's literally just vibing, roman can and will launch himself into logan's lap sending the book flying and logan isn't allowed to tell him off because 'I'm little now! i want attention now!! hi mom!!!!'

New stuffies:

AHHHHHHHHH this this this is so so cute!!

roman never used to care much for soft toys before okay? before he was ever a little sure he appreciated disney action figures (he used them to block out scenes he wrote for theatre productions and screenplays and fanfiction) sure he always had a soft spot for Mrs Fluffybottom his childhood toy, but she always just sat on a shelf, he never fet the need to cuddle her or play with her

but when he realises he's little, when he starts playing with vee, when he sees how much vee cares about his soft animals, when patton and logan buy him a present to welcome him to the littlespace family and it's a golden teddy bear (soon to be named Aladdin) with big brown beady eyes and a satin crimson bow around its neck? yeah big kids love stuffies too

and now whenever roman is gifted a new toy (soft or otherwise) he essentially gets the zoomies!!! his brain is going a million miles a minute with all the game possibilities and with the excitement of NEW PRESENT!!! and with the happiness that his caregivers thought about him and he's been a good enough boy to deserve gifts?? yeah he's so so so excited he canNOT stand still he runs around the house for a whole hour flinging his new toy around (yeah he's a bit rough with them and there's been more than one torn limp or loose eye but he doesn't care it just shows how much they're loved!)

Now virgil: this boy is very very very emotionally attached to his stuffies. when he was a "dark side" he couldn't have much soft stuff because it just went against everything the household stood for and he couldn't risk the others finding out about how not-scary he really was, but he allowed himself a single stuffed rabbit that was easy to hide and that he loved with all of his being. it was his security blanket and his one item that could offer him comfort in a oanic attack and his only posession that he felt was true to him and not true to the scary facade he put up to scare thomas and the "light sides" into listening to him

without spoiling anything, that bunny was left in that house when he moved to the "light sides"

and in his new home virgil started collecting soft toys whenever he needed comfort. everytime he felt unwanted, every time he had an anxiety attack, everytime there was a thunderstorm predicted for the next week he would get himself a new soft toy because that was the only way he knew to comfort himself. needless to say he's got a pretty big collection now. you might think he became desensitized to new toys because of how many times he had gotten himself a new one, and you might be partly right.

that is until for the first time ever he is given a stuffie by someone else... when logan buys him a soft toy in apology for accidentally revealing his regression to everyone ((yes i am writing this fic!))

it wasn't really logan's fault, virgil should have been more aware he should have been more careful he should have hidden it all better but the logical side was guilt-ridden nonetheless. virgil hadn't expected much to be honest, the sincere apology was enough for him

but when logan blushed and shyly opened a box and handed him a black cat stuffie? virgil had to fight very very hard not to outright sob on the spot. he simply took it, thanked logan shakily, and prayed that logan didn't point out the fact that tears were falling onto the fluff of his new stuffed friend Jiji

now whenever he gets a new toy it's different than before - it's not because he's upset and needs comfort, it happens less often now but it's more special, it could be for a holiday or as a way of saying he's been very sweet or just because patton simply couldn't resist this one because look at its cute lil eyes! but each and everytime he knows when he is handed a new toy by one of his family members it really means 'i love you'

and he buries his face in its softness - it used to be to hide his tears, but now he just can't help but squeeze it tight and close and let the feeling of love wash over him

Birthdays:

yknow that episode of steven universe where steven wears a regal cape and a golden crown? yeah that's roman whether he's little or not

seriously this kid is very much the 'it's my birthweek!' type

lots of singing, lots of 'but i'm the birthday boy!!' to try to get thtings he really shouldn't be getting (like a third cookie) (and yes patton caves every single time) (patton is eventually banned from making decisions on romans behalf during his "birthweek")

there's not much difference at all between little romans birthday and big romans birthday, he's just an excitable boy whether he's a kiddo or not - this may or may not make the caregivers question whether maybe he actually was a little before virgil's regression was revealed

(irrelevant but patton definitely makes the pun 'you're a little? a little what? finish your sentences silly billy!')

virgil hates his birthday. hates it.

too much attention, too many things that could go wrong, too much pressure on it being a good day. what if his anxiety is bad that day? what if he doesn't want everyone watching him open presents? what if he's genuinely terrified that people think walking towards him with a big grin, singing at him, and carrying a cakeful of literal fire is a somehow a fun activity??

when he first moved into the house he made it very clear that he does not have a birthday so don't even try to throw him a party

naturally roman and patton were devastated, but after a failed attempt at getting virgil to enjoy his birthday they obeyed logan's request that they not try to push the idea on virgil any further

but the first birthday after they become a little family, it's a bit different

they don't push it, not at first, but virgil does wake up to patton already in his room and cooing at him adoringly , immediately sending him into his regressed headspace

then he's given a new soft toy. that wasn't so bad

then roman let him choose what disney film they watched. that wasnt bad either

then logan cuddled him for an hour and they might have fallen asleep together not noticing the smell of vanilla coming from the kitchen

then there was a new paci, a new rattle, another new soft toy, and cake cut up into tiny squares so he could nibble on it with his fingers

there was no loud singing no big surprises no bright lights or fire or anything else that he hated about birthdays

there was only love and toys and comfort. so virgil really didn't mind birthdays much after that

Bunny aged up!

so I cheated their ages a bit so they were all closer together for my sanity, now all the girls are 1 day apart (in order from oldest to youngest, Bliss>Blossom>Buttercup>Bubbles>Bunny) which will make it so much better for my gen 3 plans. Also in case my blatant favoritism wasn't clear Bunny is the heir but we'll be exploring Ambitions with all 5 girls!
