Exciting news!

Some of you already know that I work in healthcare and with the pandemic adding extra stress to an already stressful job, I’ve decided to take some time off to do something I love. TRAVEL! I’ve resigned from my job and booked a six week land cruise though Europe.

Now for the sad news. While I’m away my story will be on hiatus so I can focus on having fun, eating delicious food, and seeing all the wonderful sites that Europe has to offer. I will be finishing the current chapter before I leave (I don’t want to leave you hanging too much) and once I return I’ll do a quick recap before a 3ish year time skip in the story (this was already part of the plan).

Bus of Generosity

They sat next to each other riding the bus that was nearly full. The bus stopped and one pregnant lady came in with two bags with her and stood in the center isle, holding on to the pole. Doumeki couldn't ignore it. He stood up, gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Please have my seat." he said, guiding her to the row lifting her bag up. Yashiro was awe by his gentlemanly manner watching him stood beside the seats. The woman smiled at Doumeki thanking him so much. She sat next to Yashiro, smiled, and gave her small greeting.

Yashiro returned her smile and said, "Would you like the window seat? It's quite warm today."

"Oh, I couldn't..."

"No, please. I insist." he rose up and aided her slowly, then sat in between Doumeki and the lady.

The woman blushed by all these generosity she was shown today. "We are surrounded by good people." she whispered to her child petting her belly, with the nice cool wind brushing her cheeks, and with a beautiful man sitting next to her, that day felt like a lucky day.

The two men silently watching her glowing by the window light. Praying she'll have a safe delivery.

I have this huge fear and trauma with public transport and this one bus driver have no idea how much his "good morning"s and smile calms me and brings back my hope in nice drivers who doesn't yell at you for just standing there😭😭😭
