I heard that the AQHA is legislating against breeding HYPP horses -- is there any truth to that?

Yes, they have finally required all foals to be tested before registration and will NOT register an H/H foal, but they will still register heterozygous (N/H) foals. Yet for some reason people still risk breeding N/H horses even though they might not even be able to register their foal if it comes out positive, making said foal basically useless to the owners/breeders as it will not be able to show within the AQHA and other breeds circuits.
