Welcome to the introduction (yippee)

I'm Philip/A/yello. I enjoy writing, art, science, and this is the blog focused on my personal brain worms.

My big brain worm is worldbuilding, and the world you are seeing is the World of All (placeholder name).

World of All is placed on a single planet with multiple 'continents' that host independently evolved ecosystems and currently 4,5 sophonts/"aliens". This unique setup is all thanks to the Designers, mindless blobs that have managed to keep their landmasses isolated for billions of years (among other things). As a bonus, some of the blob physical manipulation is left in the sophont creatures' brains who have yet to understand physics on a deeper level.

kouyou's inclusion in the recent collaboration is interesting. not only is he several degrees more separated from the aquarium than everyone else, but he's also the only character there who isn't depicted as how they are in present day.

his name in this art is written as seno kouyou, which is the surname he had before marriage. if it was his current self, his name should be tenjou kouyou.

older characters in the story are also usually drawn with a few wrinkles under their eyes, which you can see in minato's collab art (and maybe haru’s too, but it's harder to tell with his eyebags). kouyou doesn't have them here...

...but he does have them in chapters that show him in the present.

so the kouyou in the collaboration artwork is much younger than he is currently. given the use of his original surname, it's likely to be a version of him from at least 20 years ago: someone who isn't koutarou's father, and who might not be minato's best friend yet either.

so that's something.
