Work vent:

I work for a company that makes and sells flower arrangements. We went to deliver one today, but not one was home. We called the client and he said the recipient would be home after 3pm. We take it back to the shop and wait.

We re-attempt the delivery around 4pm. At just about the time our driver gets there, we get a text saying that now she won't be home until 5:30. He also asked why our driver was ringing the doorbell (answer: because you said she'd be home!)

Here's the kicker: I asked our driver if the home had a doorbell with a camera, or if it was just regular. He said regular.

So this asshole's sitting in his house not letting us deliver the flowers even though he's home. That will be 3 times going to the same place. In 110+ degree heat, mind you. Wasting time, labor, & gas.
