I love you early 2000′s film that lost Fox $100 mil I could fix you
ID: An illustration of Akima and Cale from Titan A.E., formatted to look like the cover of a 90′s sci-fi novel. The entire piece is in shades of yellow, orange, and navy blue. The pair are crammed into the cabin of a spaceship, Akima at the wheel and Cale gripping onto the walls for support as the ship hurtles through space. Akima is smiling wildly, loving the adrenaline rush. Cale’s mouth is open in a scream, beads of sweat rolling off his face. A caption at the top of the piece reads: “Randall McCormick & Hans Baur.” The title at the bottom reads “TITAN A.E,” a subtitle below it reading “Get ready for the human race.” End ID.

Finally got me some high-res (aka "actually readable") screencaps of the Titan AE end credit stat screens! ╭( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑
Points of interest (to me):
Korso's classification "IM-CO"..."I am Commanding Officer" X'D
Cale's blood type as "B+" when he needs to BE POSITIVE (and contrasted against Korso's "A-" (Am Negative?) and Akima's O+ (Oh Positive, and/or an almost universal donor...in human terms, haha))
Preed’s species is spelled “Akranian” while the novel spells it “Akrennian”
The first letter of each character's ID number corresponds with the first letter of their species, implying some kind of agreed-upon galactic standardization or organization (though clearly not one that would stand against the Drej in any meaningful way)
I'd still love to know what the logic/in-jokes were behind the various abbreviations, but I'm still amused by the idea of Preed's "Military: D.U.A." being a combination of "DUI" ("Driving Under the Influence") and "DOA" ("Dead On Arrival")

hi my name is lamby and im the only person on the planet who owns and has read the titan ae novel
“novel??? it was turned into a fucking novel???” you say?
yes. yes it was.
under the readmore you can read the glorious tidbits I found while reading!
the book switches from the POV’s of Cale, Akima, and the queen of the Drej’s, depending on the chapter
Akima is a year younger than Cale, at 19. Cale is 20.
Cale believes that 25 is a very old age, and that he’ll have grey hair by that time.
Cale has seen other human women before, but that they were all older and mean to him.
Cale was once offered a pornographic hologram, but didn’t buy it because it was a bad financial choice. He notes that Akima is more beautiful than the woman in the hologram.
Akima was close with her grandmother, a woman who always encouraged her to find a new home for Earth and the humans.
Akima is originally from Houston, with Japanese family.
Akima was fired from her first flight job for beating up a co-pilot who was sexually harassing her. She was in a flight lounge when Korso showed up and asked for a pilot who could be ready in 10 minutes, and was hired on the spot.
Korso is described as “ an interesting looking man, dark, muscular, with a thin beard and a knowing smirk." He’s also constantly referred to as ‘big’, ‘big man’, and ‘the bigger man’.
When Korso is facetiming Akima while she flies, she thinks, "Speak of the devil. In fact, now that she thought about it, Korso did kind of resemble a brown-haired version of the devil. Just add horns and a tail..."
Akima notes that she isn’t scared of Korso also sexually harassing her, because he seems too focused on something to even care about that sort of thing.
Only in Cale’s point of view is Korso referred to as ‘pervert’, ‘pervo’, and ‘perv’- many times. He hasn’t done anything sexual though so its.... odd. (also kinda gay)
When Cale meets Korso, he assumes that Korso either wants to sell his body for drug money or that he wants him sexually. (very gay)
Korso touches Cale a lot on the shoulder, and Cale wiggles himself out of the touch everytime. He also hates Korso referring to him as ‘kid’.
Now for fun screenshots!
Korso has intense dad energy.
The book also mentions many many times how sexually interested Cale is in Akima. Even going as far as to make Cale naked for scenes he isn’t originally naked in.
and that’s all the stuff for now! if anyone wants to see or ask about certain things in the book, feel free to ask!!

Unfortunately the text is almost unreadable on this low-res DVD (and I’m NOT gonna pay for a digital rental just to re-screenshot these), but for curiosity’s sake, here’s the character stat sheets from the end credits of Titan AE.
Interesting points (from what I can actually decipher):
Cale is the only one without some kind of military record
All 3 nonhumans seem to have the same blood type listed, “A-OG”? (maybe a joke, standing for “alien origin” or something?)
Preed’s species looks like it’s spelled “Akranuun” while the novel spells it “Akrennian”
Stith’s species seems to be called “Sogowan” while the novel calls her a “Mantrin”
Also Stith’s height doesn’t seem to include full leg extension, which feels a little rude
Akima’s military classification is “Sumo”??
I’d be curious to know the backstory of the text here, if there's any meaning to the acronyms whether joking or serious (like the “GNDN” labels on wall pipes in Original Trek, standing for “Goes Nowhere, Does Nothing”). My brain’s immediately reading Preed’s military “DUA” classification as a combo of “DUI” (“Driving Under the Influence”) and “DOA” (“Dead On Arrival”), and Gune’s military “IN-IX”(?) classification as “inexperienced” XD
UPDATE: here’s a version with text you can actually read

Tonight's piece might be something of an obscurity to most people, but to me it sits right in my top five for favorite animated films of all time.
Titan AE (2000) from Fox Animation Studios is such an underrated piece of sci-fi, but I've always loved it since I was a kid. So tonight I am drawing the lead characters; Cale and Akima! This one is gonna be really fun and I hope you can come by for a fun stream!
