The morning breeze a gentle caress through his hair, kissing him with tender affection. The canvas of the sky is painted in hues of crimson and golden ochre, a masterpiece painting from heaven.

In the tranquil morning, a gentle melody played on. The symphony of dawn harmonized with the horizon and whispered its warmth to every living thing.

And then, a seductive aroma of high-quality coffee wafted on the right side, alluring the balcony with its charm.

With a tender "Good morning," you graced Chris with a cup of coffee. He hummed in response. The true reason he cherished mornings was you. A morning kiss that is sweeter than sugar, your smile beneath the dawn, was a morning routine for him when he started living together with you.

Every morning was a new love story in his memory.

He loves sharing a passionate kiss on your cute lips or just a simple, romantic shower with you. The world may find it corny. But for Chris, it is something that he would cherish for his life. He never tired of savoring the coffee you brewed because he knew it was a cup of love crafted just for him.

"How are you sleeping?" You smiled, sitting beside him on the balcony. "I have a feeling that a morning run will be good for my health."

Chris chuckled. "I can't imagine you as a morning runner."

"Stop teasing me, Chris! I'm a good runner; you should know that."

A warm, comforting aura enveloped him as your smile blossomed. His eyes fixed on you, a color of oceanic blues and forest greens, locking you in their embrace. Oh... God, how he swore his love for you deepened each day. The dawn's light makes your beauty seem a millionfold more ethereal.

From the very first time he met you, he invited you into his tiny world. Allowing you to share his love that he'd never share with anyone else. As your comfort in his presence bloomed, he gave his heart to you, letting you feel his blue and red, his black and gray. Entrusting you to save his heart in yours.

He was never one to express his love at first; he always buried those feelings deep within his heart. However, when he met you, something inside him awakened. To the point of telling him to reach your soul, compelling him to claim you and every part of you as his and his alone.

"I'm always happy to have an exact morning routine with you." He said this as his hands squeezed your palm. "I want to be with you, not only in the morning but every moment of every day, alongside you."

"You know, it feels so weird to hear this in the morning."

You couldn't help but giggle. At the same time, you playfully reach him, your hand cupping his cheeks. Trying to lead his soul with your eyes. After a few seconds, you plant a slight kiss on his lips, feeling his sweet and cute lips brush against yours.

"...but remind me that you're Chris Redfield. Everything is possible for Chris Redfield to say something like that. I love you too; even if the sun loses its warmth, I still love you."

Note : It's always fun to write Chris in love with someone else. Because I'm sure he has a soft spot for his partner. I want to make him happy with his current life because, every time I see Chris, only melancholy appears in his eyes. He lost so many people around him, yet he is still doing "that job." I hope Capcom gives him justice; at least I want to see him smiling again :'')))

Old art of F.A.N.G mains from 2021 to 2022. Mono, Mortsy, VegaPatch, MetalQueerSolid, DeeAncer, NovaSpec, Rotten Seagull. I wanted to show my support for them because they’re all absolutely incredible. And they are wonderful people in real life too. I find it astounding that many of them mained F.A.N.G as far back as Season 1 for Street Fighter V. A low tier character with an unorthodox design and personality. Like, I know people would be asking why stick to FANG when there are better characters than him? FANG was not strong for the majority of the game’s lifespan, and he wasn’t waifu/husbando material either lol (at least for mainstream fandom). How can people stick to such a character? There are several answers to this. F.A.N.G mains find him fun. They said he has neat tools, his play style clicks with them (many of them prefer charge), they love playing difficult characters, and/or they genuinely love his odd design and personality. I’d say they’re all very good reasons.

And then there was Mono’s CEO 2021 win where he grabbed the #1 spot. That was absolutely momentous. There’s even a fantastic documentary on it too.

There was also Xian that made F.A.N.G work in Season 1. He was so good that he placed at #9 with F.A.N.G at Capcom Cup 2016. Be mindful that I wasn’t part of the FGC back then so I don’t see it myself, but reading about it sounded very inspirational. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if Xian’s performance was one of the reasons why F.A.N.G got nerfed for Season 2 😂😂. That comes to show that F.A.N.G wasn’t a totally bad character just as long as people gave him a chance and lab with him.

I still have more FANG main art, but the max is 10 pictures per post. I’ll make another post on another day, which would include art for Capcom Cup IX because 3 F.A.N.G main’s qualified for that year (VegaPatch, Mono, Mortsy) and VegaPatch placed at #7. Update: Here’s the post:

Scone Plate that spans the Japanese and British Empires This menu item has the motifs of Naruhodou Ryuunosuke and Kazuma Asogi. 2024 Race Queen Retirements - Nana Yasuda

Originally working as an event companion from 2012, in 2015 Nana began her career working as a race queen as a member of the Leon Racing Ladies in the Super GT. In 2016 she became a member of Up Garage's Drift Angels for three consecutive years. In her time with that team, she recorded and released three songs as part of the Drift Angels idol unit. From 2019 she became a long time member of WedsSport Racing Gals, four years in total, the longest tenure of any member of the team.

On 15 January 2022 she was one of the five grand prize winners at the MediBang Japan Race Queen Awards 2021, announced at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 and also won the Tokyo Chunichi Sports Award. After leaving WedsSport Racing Gals, she joined Eneos Girls in 2023 and returned to Team Up Garage as a member of Up Garage Honeys in 2024 for her final Race Queen season.

New year, new post where I humiliate myself by posting everything I played this year! And actually? I'm pretty proud of myself this year! If you look at 2022, I bought a LOT of games! A crazy amount! But this time, I actually didn't spend nearly as much this year. My purchase list is pretty short, and I actually barely bought anything during Steam Sales! I actually did not buy ANYTHING during the autumn and winter sales and I'm genuinely proud of myself!

And I managed to play a BUNCH of stuff! I really tore through a lot of games and had a lot of fun even with the ones I had to play on super easy difficulties cause I suck at games lmao. If you're curious what I spent time playing, you can take a look under the read more!

And there you have it! Everything I bought, beat, and tried through the year! As always, I'm certain there's stuff missing that I didn't intentionally axe. I keep track of this stuff kinda closely cause I'll completely forget otherwise but even I make mistakes or play stuff that's forgettable lol.

As for next year? There's a few things I'd like to play in 2024, a couple of series I want to continue and a couple of new things to try, as well as a lot of games I wanted to play THIS YEAR but didn't get around to it! My only real gaming resolution is to play less Fortnite. I'm serious!

Looking back at my goals for 2023 I actually did get through a lot of them. Megaman, God of War, and Enchanted Arms were all games I mentioned wanting to play. And I said I wanted to play more meaty RPGs and wouldn't you know it, my top 5 old games I played this year were ALL RPGs! So I think I did a good job!

I also did a lot of emulating this year and had a GREAT time with it! I experimented with a ton of consoles and it's interesting to see how certain things work for more complicated stuff like PS3/360. It really did open up what I can play and I can't believe I just stopped doing this for a while! Glad to be back! NOW I CAN MAKE GIFS!!

That should be that for 2023! Here's to a fantastic year full of fun and video games for everyone! Let's head into 2024 blazing!

More old art of F.A.N.G mains from 2022 to 2023. A continuation from a previous post:

Capcom Cup IX…my goodness, I remember it was absolutely glorious. And can you believe there were 3 F.A.N.G mains that qualified on that year?! First it was Mono of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, Vegapatch of Spain 🇪🇸 , and Mortsy of Canada 🇨🇦 . At first I thought I’d celebrate F.A.N.G’s last hurrah at EVO 2022, but Capcom Cup IX was even more hype. I was rooting for all three of them.

Though sadly Mono and Mortsy had to face each other since they were in the same pool, but their mirror match was spectacular.

A fun bit from that same pool was that Mono helped Momochi (Cody) get into Top 16 by winning against Big Bird’s Ken. From then on, the two were dubbed Monochi 😎👍😎👍

Vegapatch managed to nab the #7 spot, so a F.A.N.G player made it to TOP 8 in Capcom Cup. He beat out EVO 2022 champ Kawano’s Luke. Yes, a F.A.N.G won against a Luke, and that Luke was played by an extremely strong player from Japan. Now THAT is something to talk about!

Yes, that’s me screaming like crazy there lol!

I must mention that Garnet of Italy almost made it to Capcom Cup IX. He would have been the third F.A.N.G player (I drew that picture before Mortsy became the actual third) to have make it. There would have been 4 FANG mains really lol. But he was outdone by Geeck-O’s Cammy. That is not the end of it though. Garnet is qualified for this year’s Capcom Cup X as a Dhalsim main. Yes, he did tried out A.K.I. because of the F.A.N.G affiliation, but her playstyle is not quite the same as her Master’s…and AKI is in serious need of buffs lol 🙏🙏, and the game mechanics can be overwhelming. So he went back to Dhalsim. Nevertheless, I’m rooting for Garnet because he was an amazing former F.A.N.G main. And don’t mind the error on my other Garnet fanart as my mind slipped away writing 2020 instead of 2022 😅��

Sometime after Capcom Cup IX, Mono competed at EVO Japan 2023 and placed at the 5th spot against a total of 1,797 participants. There was also a Monochi moment. And just a few days after, Mono flew to Southern California and placed 1st at DreamHack 2023 at San Diego. Super awesome!

Yes, that’s two-time Capcom Cup champ MenaRD celebrating Mono’s birthday on that art.

One F.A.N.G main placed at 9th at Capcom Cup in SFV’s Season 1 in 2016. Three F.A.N.G mains at Capcom Cup was made possible in 2023, and one placed at Top 8. Hopefully we’ll get to see at least three A.K.I. Players in a Capcom Cup event by the end of SF6’s lifespan or even earlier than that 💜🤞🤞💜

2023 Megaman Summer Fanart Contest - Rules Thread *CLOSED*

Happy Rockman Day! Time for the 12th annual-ish Megaman Summer Fanart Contest. Am I out of original ideas yet? Feels like it. But give it your all with these theme choices!

Two categories, in which you are allowed to submit one entry for each category, if you would like. If you place in one category, you will be automatically disqualified from the other, for reasons of fairness, and to give other people a chance to win a prize.

CATEGORY 1:  The Sand-ly Cup Playoffs (Talent)

The very first summer contest I held was a Megaman sports videogame box art theme, in an ode to the summer Olympics and our only real Mega Man sports game at the time, Mega Man Soccer. 

Taking a cue from Capcom’s recent announcement of it’s sponsorship/tie-in support of the Japan Volleyball Association, this year, let’s focus on beach sports. 

What qualifies as a beach sport? Beach volleyball, soccer, polo, frisbee, and more, just to name a few. For a decent list of options, check this page out. Want to do something else more creative not mentioned here? You are welcome to. 

As always, you are free to draw whatever characters you would like. However, for this theme, I would like you to draw some sort of sand-themed Mega Man character or characters involved in either the competition or ruining the gameplay of this beach sport. Who counts as a sand-themed character? Any major or minor character whose stage or design involves sand/desert works for me. Some examples could be: Pharaoh Man, Ground Man, Commando Man, Desertman.EXE, Anubis Necromancess, Terra Condor, Sand Snake, Pantheon Zombies, Mummira, etc.

Content Requirements:

* Megaman character(s) of your choice

* Characters playing some type of beach sport on a sand surface

* At least one sand-themed character(s), either in competition or ruining gameplay

* As the talent category, entries will be judged on things like detail and overall composition, on top of meeting basic content requirements

Looks like we could use a lifeguard at this beach. 

Huh? This isn’t the beach, this is a fanart contest rules thread! 

It’s time to draw the heroes of the beach, those watching over the waters for dangers and saving people’s lives. The theme for this category is lifeguards. And one show that definitely mixed lifeguards and campy humor at times was Baywatch. Let’s draw a spiritual successor starring (The) Rockman as the leader of a ragtag group of beach lifeguards. Your goal for this category is to draw your favorite Megaman characters in some sort of humorous scene involving lifeguards wearing those iconic red swimsuits/trunks. 

Illustrate slow-motion running with oily tans, rescuing Navis from Sharkman.EXE attacks, poorly written, long-form story comics about battling criminal activity while wearing a gratuitous, fan-servicey swimsuits the entire time, etc. Parody one of your favorite episodes, like that one time they held a funeral for a lifeguard on the beach, except this time it’s all the unlockable swimsuit characters holding a funeral for the XDive character who won’t ever get a skin because the game is dead. (Too soon? Yeah...)

Content Requirements:

* Megaman character(s) of your choice

* At least one character as a lifeguard, in red swimsuits/trunks in a parody of the Baywatch series

* As the humor category, entries will be judged on things like visual gags and how much they make us laugh, on top of meeting basic content requirements.

As always, participants are allowed to submit from all over the world.
