His name is Jack-Jack, and he is quite obsessed with going outside. Sadly, he is but a puffball and would die or at the very least get flees if he wondered about.
I've been eyeing various types of cat backpacks for awhile. You know, the ones that as plastic view or has a dome that sticks out, where you can bring your cat on the go so they can observe the outside world with you! Well, my hubby finally ordered one off of amazon! This one has a huge plastic view and the best part, it comes with that cute, purple hexagon blanket on the bottom! Lots of huge breathing holes for air. The sides zip open if you want your cat's head to stick out (I did that and Cosmo was able to climb fully out).
We took Cosmo out on the trail to hike and he loved it! He came out two days in a row with us and hoping he would wanna come out more. He's been a little apprehensive the past few days when we took the backpack out but I think with kitties, they are always reminded when we put them in some form of bag it means going to the vet! I'm trying to change that mindset! This backpack does not look anything like the vet bag. We put treats inside the backpack and he climbed in ate it and came back out, haha! Either way, I think it's a good investment in a cat backpack to bring the kitties out. I also have a cat stroller which I've had for years (I'll do another post on that next) which is also a good alternative to the backpack.
What are the common requirements to fly a cat internationally?
Weight Requirements: Pets traveling in the cabin of most aircraft are subject to weight restrictions, which usually apply to both the pet and its carrier.
Pet Carrier Dimensions: This is yet another important factor to take into account. In order for the carrier to fit beneath the seat in front of you, airlines typically need it to be soft-sided. In-cabin carriers typically measure 46 cm by 28 cm by 24 cm (18" x 11" x 9"), though exact measurements may differ based on the airline and the aircraft.
Yo, Phlurrii, how ya been recently? How's life been treating ya?
Good? Bad? Feel like you need to talk to someone? (My DM's are open to ya if ya need it)
What's the crack?
Lifes been interesting!! Truthfully, December-February was extremely hard on me, some very stressful life stuff was going on and I was struggling lemme tell ya XD
So it’s been pretty pleasant since March, I feel a lot happier!! I’ve been chipping away at comic updates, sketching/writing more and more of the Missingno. Arc, and jumping back into some video games/hobbies I’ve missed!
Also managed to scuttle into a 5th class I needed credit wise, a fast track one too so it’ll finish before my other ones even have finals ;D
Overall, doing a LOT better, I feel very stable and capable, two things I value intensely X3c so I’m just chipping away at all the things I intend to get done!!
One thing I’m VERY excited to share tho is I’ll be making a puntable sized Meau and Missingno plushie in the coming weeks! Of which I can carry around with me places, punt them, and fully embrace my decent in crazy cat lady territory!
Today's blog is about this awesome Pet Gear Cat stroller (can be for small dogs as well). I purchased this on chewy a few years ago and have put it to good use. So far, only Cosmo have gone on it (Milk's been too scared/shy). He makes a bit of a fuss in the beginning but once we are on the trail, he loves it! He enjoys looking around and enjoying the scenery, the sounds and smells. There are dogs barking, cars going, trees rustling, birds chirping, bikes rolling by and just oh-so-much to see! He would be a little anxious in the beginning and then he would settle down and observe. I think he enjoys it a lot ! Anyways, this is a great stroller, sturdy and I love the big basket at the bottom for your jacket, cat treats, water bottles etc. Well worth the investment to bring your kitty out into the world!
well absolutely fucked up my first attempt at bringing the cats outside in harnesses/leashes! it's much harder to introduce two of them to the concept than one. anyway no one escaped at least and we will try this much more slowly and one at a time. it was very traumatic, though.
Getting a cat stroller might sound funny at first, but it’s actually a pretty cool idea, especially if you love taking your pet on adventures outside. YouTube video titled “We Got A Cat Stroller! – Ibiyaya Retro Luxe Pet Stroller Unboxing & Review” shares a couple’s excitement about getting a new pet stroller for their cat, Natia.
