headcanon that grover and percy are just completely incapable of arguing. might as well be canon too, cause like everytime in the books there's some conflict, it just goes like this:

(I personally hate rendering so I had no clue what I was doing the whole time but uuhhh yeah :D!!!)

I was actually originally gonna draw the hug Moon gave Sun! But I realized I dunno how to draw people hugging so like yeah

So I've been re-doing my coffee table, because the decoupage of tea-stained paperback pages was starting to show its age. I've been working on it for a while, and was committed not to showing anyone until I was finished. Still, with my mother coming over I had press pause, and...actually? it looks pretty good. Weird, because there's a pure white box in the middle of my apartment! But still...not bad.

...guess how I did the bas relief vines? HOT GLUE GUN, it took me two weeks.

When an animatronic is born from a small string of code, evolving and growing on its own, their mindscape form reflects this. A small and young thing still learning, and not able to understand things like a fully developed animatronic can. For the short amount of time animatronics are like this, if they are at all, there will be someone to guide them… most of the time anyway.

Helios' Sun, Eos, very much took on a mom role finding them when they were in this young state. It only lasted a few months before he was fully developed but Eos practically raised him. Eclipse in contrast... He was hidden behind the lock Moon put up during that time, angry and confused and alone.

Keep seeing people wanting the Celestial family to meet Eclipse's family (who I will refer to as the Penumbra family), so why not make some art of it since Ive also been wanting to see some of that—especially after today's eaps ep (CHARLIE NOOO DD:)

Fun facts about my Eclipse and Solar designs:

1) The more their rays fold, the more stronger their emotions are; usually, the sharper black rays dont fold (+the "stringers" for Eclipse), but they do when their emotions are too intense or they decide relax (since they make an effort to keep their rays up).

2) Their lower eyes are usually shut, but they do open! Usually to keep a closer eye on everything. In addition to that, the lower eyes are more active because theyre often shut! The eyebags are just there to match the upper ones :)
