Hi everyone !!! It's been a while (again) cuz I'm not always actively working on this comic, it's more of an on-and-off thing, but I have some more characters to share today! These are just side characters so they're not exactly at the center of everything but that's okay!

Candle is one of Neil's drinking buddies, Chase is an old ex-friend of Bat, Evan works at the Roadkill Grill, Frans owns the Ratz motel, Mason is a physician at the Practice clinic, and Salt is the younger brother of Pep.

No Toyhouse pages yet because I'm out of town and busy with a lot and don't have hours to type out the bios but I hope you guys like their designs ! :3

Barbie Movies Tournament: Preliminaries

Hello! Just for fun I thought I'd see what tumblr's favorite Barbie movie is. However, there are not quite the right number of Barbie movies to neatly fit into a tournament, so I've arbitrarily decided that the most recent 16 movies will have to earn their place in the showdown.

Preliminaries will start on Monday at noon EST and polls will be open for one week. The lineup is as follows:

The 8 winners will enter into the official bracket. I might be persuaded to do a consolation bracket for the 8 movies that lose the preliminaries.

slept like 15 hours, which is great, but also (seemingly) spent that entire time having one long, incredibly vivid nightmare, which is. not so great

#and the thing abt nightmares is that they stick around #even tho im awake now. i know im awake now. i still feel like im there #or i guess more specifically i still feel like the things that were true in the nightmare are still true here #namely: that i had a stage 4 brain tumour and had been given weeks to live #which. i get _why_ thats what i dreamed abt #id been looking up my recent symptoms and a brain tumour was mentioned as a potential cause uhhh multiple times #not that i actually think i have a brain tumour #i dont #but still #i guess my brain held onto it #its dumb cause most of my nightmares are simple straightforward shit like someone's chasing me n trying to kill me or w/e #or theres some apocalyptic disaster #things that suck in the dream but that are usually p easy to “leave behind” once i wake up #like i know no one's chasing me anymore bc im lying in bed not running around or hiding or w/e i was doing in the dream #but this one was so. normal #i was on _discord_#i had to tell my _friends_#my brain keeps trying to file it away as a waking-world memory instead of a dream-world one #not to mention it clearly wants to pick up where it left off #like no. you dont have to tell me what wouldve happened next. you dont have to remind me of how i felt in the dream #_it didnt happen_#anyway #glad i got so much sleep at least

#everyone turned into a zombie #and my old crush was there #and i was holding a party in my middle school gym and there was bowling #and me and my mom were driving to the rock covered in moss at the summer camp that i see in my dreams constantly (never been there)#idk what it is but we stopped at a gas station and we went in to get drinks #and there were all these old people there like 6 of them and it was really quiet #and we picked up our drinks and left really fast and then there was an announcement #that was talking about me n her and then they all chased after us and we didnt get to the car #and i think we died #my mom died in my dream 😭😭😭#very sad i creied for a while 😣

#🌙.rambles #words whether they be written or voiced r just so special to me #they. they're also like this pathway to different worlds. to so much thoughts and emotions and memories #and they connect us as human persons. they relate with our identity and selves #i want to write of different worlds. maybe reflections of my reality #so much things i can't say but there's always some truth in those stories full of secrets #i wonder what they say. what you read from them. and how it differs between us. our brings us closer #aaaa n that's the thing. theres so much in life to feel and think about and dream and take in that #it gets overwhelming. all things in moderation / even good things can lose their meaning #but it's hard when there's so much to life #ways we express ourselves; through words. poems. letters. stories #music. melodies and harmonies. with or without lyrics #voice. tone. pitch. the way words itself are said. and shared #the way we communicate through actions. in silence there is a sense of peace #in touch is a reminder that the world is alive and real #in a desire to communicate better i think i end up overwhelming myself n getting lost n confused #n then words in relation to both reality n fiction. n how's there's so much about them #in ignorance and knowledge. the way perception changes and other aspects of life are influenced by all these n our own individuality #satisfaction is hard when you focus on what is not there instead of being grateful of whaf you have #of course it'll never be enough. but chasing perfection only leads to pain #life and love is proof that there is meaning in it all.#there's sm in my head and in my heart n in the messy notes i have that i. can't say #so much pain and ache and self-hatred. but it's worse to be afraid of living than to die #n so hold on what you can. let that be enough for you. allow that kindness and acceptance #so even if it's lacking. you can keep that kindness. and let it remind you of the meaning in life #it actuallt hurts bcs there's really so much i want to do but there's so little time #but even though it hurts. even w all the pain i'm still alive. n that fact is a promise and a letter for the future #for all the endless possibilities and i'll endeavor to accept at the very least myself #so i can say in the end that i truly lived.#aaa so much i want to say but maybe i'm still afraid. so i'll write it all in my notes

saw a dead wallaby by the path yesterday on my walk and then last night had a dream about going on a walk thru the reserve and seeing dozens of dead wallabies all with fungus and lichen growing over them and out of them. it wasnt a bad or scary dream or anything but its weird to think about the stuff your mind picks to dream about and what you remember when you wake up. i remember wanting to tell someone that there was some kind of fungus infecting and killing wallabies but i couldn't work out the right place to call and report it

#monologues #i was being chased or hunted at one point but that happens in almost all my dreams #i cant think of a single dream i remember where i wasnt being hunted or rendered powerless or trying to avoid my own death or someone elses #but the mushrooms and walking was interesting. had a sense of urgency that i should report it and a frustration that no one would listen #anyway its in a pretty open spot so i dont have much hope but if it decomposes well enough n stays put i might see if i can get the skull #once its mostly picked clean #it was there again today also #saw some (alive) wallabies on a wlak in the reserve also :') i love them
