i love how well sam-dal and yong-pil's relationship is set up, them being exes truly feels so secondary to everything else that they are, to the point you might even forget they ever dated. the feeling of watching an old childhood friend who you don't talk to simply because you live a different life from is so poignant.

Sometimes watching a tv show or a movie can heal you in ways you wouldn’t have thought of.
Last week was hell and I found a Kdrama where the female lead was going through a similar situation and then it became so cathartic when I saw her grow, love and come out happy despite everything.

I finally caught up with Welcome to samdalri and i am a puddle.
As a person trying to get over a failed relationship with my childhood best friend this show absolutely wrecked me, it triggered every emotion i've been trying to bury for the last two years... But i can't stop watching because at least it's working out for them

I'm enjoying "Welcome to Samdalri" so much because it is about a group of adults in their late 30s, whose solution to every problem they encounter is getting completely wasted along with their besties. Completely relatable.
