so i had a idea-

so i was listening to "The end of the line" by The Stupendium and went- "hehehe train conductor alex" and it spiraled- SO

the "eaten" idea of the bad ending but alex remembers that clyde said it would eat them after freeing winfrey (and simon telling them about clydes different idea of care)- so when they do free winfrey, alex bails and stumbles across a old train station and tries to see if they can use it to leave eastridge and ends up accidentally making a deal with a monster that takes the form of the trains engine- feed it and be the conductor and alex gets safety, food, and shelter

and well- its better than getting eaten

Very happy with how he turned out, I knew I definitely wanted to do something spooky with his stitchings. And I wanted him to be fluffier, puffed up like a feral cat.

I wanted the split and teeth in his body and face to kinda reflect NabNab's body mouth but not too much. And yes, shifting into this state is very painful for him :c

even if it’s not mikey’s birthday by the rise calendar 12!mikey absolutely would not rest until they celebrated if he found out. when are the 12!turtles’ birthdays? iirc you said this is set a year after the start of s1, so would their birthday be coming up soon?

12!Mikey would go BALLISTIC if they found out they somehow missed Mikey’s birthday, no one would be spared lmao.

Since 2012 has a mutation day I think THAT’S around early spring (so it’s also already passed unfortunately) and they all agree that’s when they turn the next age but as they got older they wanted and picked their own birthdays too.

-12!Leo = Right in the middle of winter, he insisted it had to be near New Years

12!Don = randomly spun a wheel and ended up in early winter, adjusted the date slightly to be more visually pleasing

12!Raph = immediately picked August and him and Mikey fought over the month (Raph won)

12!Mikey = wanted August but lost, then thought about the opportunities for April 1st and gleefully chose that

I really enjoy thinking about all these birthdays tbh :D I think I really DO have to make a one shot fic once the main story is over just to have some fun with it

So, IK from the Monster Hunter world is a hunter, right?

What if instead of a hunter, IK was a rider?

Just a bit of an explanation here, riders are a group of people who show in both Monster Hunter Stories games, which are a sort of spin-off series from the main games. In these games, you play as a rider who doesn't just hunt monsters, but hunts alongside monsters.

Riders get monsters, or as they're referred to in game, monsties (which the first game said was short for monster bestie), by using something called a kinship stone to hatch them from eggs and bond with them.

How do they get these eggs? They sneak into monster dens and just take one. That also includes fighting the parent if necessary.

If this Devildom was the same as hunter IK (monsters originated from the Devildom and were so dangerous they got banished), I think the reactions to this IK would be shock, curiosity, and something akin to horror without being horror, especially if one of her monsties arrived with her.

(It would be even better if her kinship stone could somehow summon any monsties she has at will, even to the Devildom)

for real though, i imagine this would be on par with meeting someone in real life who's like... domesticated the black death somehow, everyone is equal parts terrified and impressed
