HOW CAN ASTROLOGY BE USED TO SOLVE PROBLEMS
There is a misunderstanding that astrology can solve problems and this is the reason why many quack astrologers take the advantage of it and cheat people.
People on the other hand become sentimentally blank when they are in crisis and they want to come out of their problems by hook or crook, and this the time when they get trapped by crook astrologers telling them that they can solve their problem thru astrology.
The reality is astrology do not solve our problem but it shows us the correct path to achieve it. It is WE who should walk on that path to help our own self.
So we have to help our ownself to get rid of the problem with the guidance of astrology.
There is no miracle / remedy that the problem of an individual will automatically vanish away. No no it doesn’t happen so.
We have to do karma to get the results of the astrological remedies of our problems.
A remedy is like a car which do not run unless we sit in and drive it.
One will see dead bodies and burials if he drives the car towards a cemetery.
One will see beautiful idols of Gods and a peaceful environment if one drive the car towards a temple.
So driving the car ( remedy ) is not only important but also giving it a right direction is equally important to achieve the goal.
This is astrology and this is how astrology can indirectly solve the problem.
There are problems where astrology has no solution and the individual has to bear with that fact.
For example if a couple is not blessed to have a child then they can not have a child, even remedy won’t give the results. This bitter truth of astrology.
The remedy can be useful only when there is a possibility and some planets are creating hurdles and delays, are pacified with the remedy to speed up the process.
If an event is not promised in the horoscope then no remedies can give that event. Remedies won’t work.
This is one aspect of astrology, how it can be useful to show us correct path.
In another example, a man was not getting job and after studying his horoscope it is found that his 4th house is very strong and has connection with 10th house.
The man was asked to teach students at his home or classes or school and earn his living. The man can also open big coaching class as per his financial strength and prosper.
The man did not get the job as he was focusing on the sales job as his elder brother is in it and prospered a lot and the man, naturally thought that he would also prosper like his brother if he join sales job.
From the example, one can see how astrology helped in giving the solution path to the native for his job, his earning.
Now if the native doesn’t do it, then astrology can not do any miracle to bring his money from space . . . ha ha ha ha ha . . . .
In another example, a boy was trying hard for government job and was appearing in exams for past 4 years and never got success. After studying his horoscope it was found that the boy do not have government job promised in his horoscope and hence he was asked not to waste his time and energy in appearing competitive exams any more.
In another example, a man was suffering losses in his business and after studying his horoscope it was found that he should do job and not business. He was advised to take up job to avoid further losses.
Like wise there are many many ways astrology can guide us to show the correct path of our life.

It's hard being a "Gifted" kid growing up to be "average"
*TW*: rant, possibly swears
I don't wanna come off as arrogant or anything but I've been a smart or atleast academically good kid growing up, all throughout my life till 10th I never used to actually sit down and study for shit, just used to act for some hours as a kid to avoid angering my parents and lose my access to my hobbies and such.
Idk, but it just used to "work out", all I used to do was pay attention in classes, read the textbooks because I found them interesting, or just learn about concepts that eventually end up helping my knowledge of the ones I need in school, and probably just binge lectures or such on YouTube one day before my exams, and ended up scoring well enough.
But then came class 11th, when the difficulty spiked so hard that it's no longer enough to simply "get through it" without any kind of self study, the 10+2 standards required hardwork, which I surely lacked.
I then just realised that I don't even know how to fucking study, like even when i search online it's just the shit like "make a routine","don't procastinate","make notes","pay attention in lectures", and especially "solve questions".
like bitch could you actually just simply tell me a proper process or system on how could i fucking study, wtf you mean by "solve questions", do i just write them down and then try to solve, and if couldn't then check the solution and copy that, bitch how's that supposed to help, and even if it did, you understand how time taking that is??
And don't fucking get me started on the amount of expectations people begin to have on you just because you scored good enough on some classes that don't fucking matter at all(*looking at you 10th boards), like we're already under sheer pressure and there's this burden of expectations now??
And the fact that they "don't think you'll need help" because you're "smart" and will "figure it out anyway", like mf why tf are you there then?
Even the stupid education system that we have in India, there's neither education nor a system in this shit, it's just a game of memorization, no practical applications at all, but they still have the audacity to say they're "preparing you for the real world".
The real world won't demand shit like the bullshit projects or assignments you give our, and neither would you be expected to just "know" every info. Like for example the formulas and stuff to calculate something.

You know what’s funny? All this stupid fucking. and I’m not even growing, my knowledge about photography and layout design is the exact fucking same as last semester. Fashion studio, all that work? Nothing. K came into this semester with the exact same amount of sewing knowledge as me—- started studio 2 weeks late— picked the most difficult pattern and learned to sew it ON THE FLY as she made the dress. I did. Nothing. She’s come out someone with a knowledge of sewing and patterns and all that I want to learn and I did. Nothing. You know why I didn’t pick the stupid fucking sewing project? Because I was boo boo fucking scared, oh no what if I’m unable to sew! Oh no! Boo fucking hoo she went out and did it and all I did was tell her that she had the choice to not do it whenever she encountered AND eventually cleared an obstacle in her process.
I’m not only a stupid fucking person with no technical skill or ability I’m also a horrible fucking person. R got her first internship after the first fucking semester after being accepted to a design program at one of the best universities in the world with a full scholarship while she had a fraction of the resources and experience that I did. S was accepted to bits Pilani and chose not to go bc of the fees, K was accepted to RISD and didn’t go hc of the fees and has nearly a twice as large scholarship to parsons. Z has had way more problems in life than I have, like actual problems not just "oh no! my computers slow!" and she's way better than me, had experience working with design and art before I ever started work on my stupid fucking portfolio that I took a gap year for. It took me a WHOLE GAP YEAR TO MAKE A MEDIOCRE PORTFOLIO RHAT GOT ME A MEDIOCRE SCHOLARSJIP INTO A SCHOOL I DIDNT EVEN HAVE ON MY TOP FUCKING THREE.
Last semester I was the only one who didn’t finish the time class final and I chose to not go to critique and pretended I didn’t wake up bc I didn’t want to face my class knowing that I took up a large project knowing damn well it was a challenge and confidently told the prof I could pull it off then failed due to my own shortcomings.
My grades in 10th were mediocre my grades in 12th were bad and I wasn’t even good enough in the prelimsries to get into CS and was only let it after submitting a special request following the final results which only met the intake by a THIN amount
my skin is full of acne scars and blackheads because I never took care of it my teeth cost my dad several Lakhs because I wasn’t even able to wear a fucking retainer regularly and I STILL don’t and I STILL can’t do the bare minimum of brushing properly and my tooth look like actual shit.
My feet look like shit because I never took care of them my toe nails are chipped and disgusting and there’s the remnants of an untreated blood clot in one of them and ugly patches of hair everywhere
My eyesight fucking sucks because surprise surprise! I didn’t fucking take care of it and cost my family money
I was fat as hell and lately my solution to that has been actively starving myself which in the past has also SIRORISE SIRPRISE cost my family money because I keep having to get blood tests done and get supplements
I can’t talk to people and didn’t have a single friend until 6th and after that still couldn’t talk to anyone except them, I made friends during the pandemic and you know what!!! I’m still FUCKING AWKWARD AROUND THEM!!!’ I CANT TALK TO THE PRIPLE I TRUST THE MOST !!!!! WHATS THE FUCKING POINT!!!!!!
I have ugly legs ugly face ugly nails ugly waist ugly ass ugly everything, my skins getting worse because I fucked up my sleeping schedule as a teenager
I don’t have a CV a resume a portfolio and haven’t applied to a single job in my entire life. I’m pathetic and can’t even do the most basic things in life and all I’ve done for the past 5-7 years I’d be mediocre and waste my family’s money. Im pathetic. I’m stupid. Im ugly. I’m incapable of even keeping my room SOMEWHAT clean let alone keeping myself looking attractive. And now I’m here in college wasting more of my parents’ money while continuing to be mediocre and stupid.
I deserve to die and everyone in my life deserves so much better than me. I don’t know how many of my friends talk and hang out with me out of obligation and bc it’s like I’m almost forcing them and how many even actyally want to and if they don’t I can’t even blame them because I wouldn’t hang out with me either! I’m everything I hate and more and I keep pretending otherwise in hopes that the people I love wouldn’t leave me.

Students can get a piece of full-fledged information before opting for their desired course. They can easily make the best choice with the availability of various online courses that help in pursuing their targeted goals.
Since students can decide by their conscience what means of Education will suit them, “study24hr.com” brought thousands of instructors and verified courses that provide quality learning opportunities to prepare children with knowledge and skills. The portal’s mission is to empower every Indian student to achieve their full potential.
Allows Self-Dependency
Self-dependency is important as it is one of the main aspects of Human Personality Development. It makes students strong-willed and determined. The education system in India believes in making children self-dependent and self-reliant. It makes it easier for learners to find the necessary information and resources.
Schools and educational institutions now tend to focus more on acquiring skills in technology, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. The modern educational curriculum compromises comprehensive learning and doesn’t just limit itself to core subjects. When children learn something out of their course, they get exposure to a particular topic that enhances self-dependency.
The Bottom Line
Education is every child’s right that entails the right to learn. Without quality education, kids and youngsters face considerable barriers to employment and earning potential in their future. They are more likely to suffer unfavorable health outcomes and less likely to participate in decisions that affect them in shaping a better future. Therefore, education is the only thing that helps students to pursue their dreams.

day 130 (friday, november 10th 2023)
On mathematical techniques, building on from Wednesday’s post. Often, when one is studying a particular subfield of mathematics, one learns not just a body of knowledge defined in a certain way but also a variety of techniques of proof dedicated to the solution of problems characteristic of the subfield, or at least the area and aspect of the subfield one is studying. For instance in the logic class I'm teaching for, there are initial segment lemmas for proving readability of certain formulas, results about automorphisms for answering questions of definability, proofs by induction on the length of a formula, etc. It's well-known of course that generalising examples or ideas or concepts from one mathematical context to another is a good way to gain mathematical fluency, and that turning an idea in one area into one in a better-understood area is such a way as well. But this is also true for generalising proof techniques or methods of construction from the better-understood area to the less well-understood area. In fact, even recognising and mastering the mathematical techniques that reliably work in a given domain is a good way to gain such fluency in that domain, and one which is relatively easy to implement and doesn’t require any sort of leap of mathematical creativity — it's mostly just grinding through examples until one can carry out the process automatically, and in fact this is how most lower-level mathematical understanding proceeds. And then, besides the question of how to transfer proof techniques towards questions in other subfields, there's also the question of how to apply ideas generalised from a given proof technique towards the creation of new proof techniques in other subfields.
On political belief clusters. So there’s the argument that you can predict for instance what someone in the USA believes about guns from what they believe about abortion, although a priori these things don’t have anything to do with each other per se (and people in other places who are otherwise “conservative” or “liberal” more generally differ on those specific topics), and that this can be taken as evidence that the process of formation of those beliefs and things isn’t very rational. But you could argue instead as follows: what happens is that in a given society, the history of that society and its culture (both the culture internal to a given political party or other sort of ideological formation and the general culture, which both influences and is influenced by these political or ideological formations) end up framing the space of reasons in a certain way, creating or making salient certain points of local correlation: thus certain correlations which aren’t a priori nonetheless show up as being highly correlated. So for instance under the very general rubric of "protecting life," you could argue, one should oppose both the unregulated proliferation of guns and abortion, whereas under the general rubric of "individual freedom" one should see no problem with both. Or, to go back to a certain sort of example, a certain view of what it means to be a minority might lead you to seek tolerance and acceptance for different groups, not because their views or interests are intrinsically in harmony with yours or with each other, but because of the position they occupy in the society you're in — and this may further lead you to take as central aspects of those groups and their viewpoints which could, in a different context, be considered marginal.
Now, of course we shouldn’t necessarily conclude that there’s no room for irrationality and mere memetic bias under such an explanation of belief-cluster formation (and the sorts of toy rubrics I presented are certainly ripe for post-hoc rationalisation), but all I'm saying is that we shouldn’t say that there’s no room for rational explanations of these dynamics either. The point is that under certain exogenous or extrinsic constraints, certain otherwise contingent correlations can come to be genuinely informative (and just as real, given the constraint — not spurious in any sense) as “intrinsic” or “necessary” or “endogenous” correlations, and the mistake is when you neglect the fact of their having been produced by extrinsic conditions, not when you take them to be meaningful at all.

Advantages and Disadvantages of PCM
The 11th science subjects list is split into two sub-branches based on the third subject you study:
Physics and Chemistry are shared by both streams, and the key distinction is whether you choose Mathematics (PCM) or Biology (PCB). Students may, however, choose a combination of the two (PCMB), studying Mathematics instead of the optional course. A PCMB combination has advantages and disadvantages, and it is a decision that should be made only after a thorough analysis.
Which career options do you have with the Science Stream subjects?
Although the medical branch is so titled because it opens the door to a profession in medicine after completing class twelve, don’t be misled by believing that’s all there is to it. If you want to follow the stream, there are several alternative career options and pathways accessible.
There are several PCB career options, such as Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, and Biochemistry, as well as options in associated subjects such as Nutrition, Pharmacology, Psychology, Biotechnology, and so on. Apart from this, persons interested in medicine but unwilling to pursue the traditional MBBS route might go into other areas of medicine (such as dentistry, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and so on) or allied medical fields (such as physiotherapy, clinical research, and so on).
Similarly, strong belief holds that Engineering is the sole (or only appropriate) choice or career option for PCM students. That is most emphatically not the case. The PCM career options include architecture, aviation, statistics, defense, design, ethical hacking, merchant navy, computer applications, physics, chemistry, and so on.
The abbreviations for the terms PCM, PCB & PCMB
PCM full form is Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
PCB full form is Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
PCMB full form is Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology.
Here are some answers that make your selection process easier: Which subjects to be taken in class 11th – PCM, PCB or PCMB? Medical or Non-Medical stream, which is better and has more benefits? The instant answer is that
Take PCB if you want to study medicine after class 12.
Take PCM if you want to pursue engineering after 12th standard.
Take both (PCMB) if you are not sure what you want to study after the 12th.
When to opt for PCM in Class 11?
If your answer is yes to all the questions below, then you can opt for the PCM Non-Medical Course. Do you like Math subject? Are you comfortable solving Math problems? Are you clear in your mind that you want to pursue engineering? Is getting into IIT your dream? Then you are good to opt for the PCM in class 11th.
When to opt for PCM?
When you are clear about what to pursue after 12th like engineering or medicine. And if you are sure you want to become an engineer. Then you can opt for the PCM Course.
Eligibility
One should pass their 10th standard from any of the boards to opt for the PCM course. The eligibility criteria are different in every institution. The basic criteria to get into reputed institutions is that the student should secure a minimum of 70% in 10th.
Skills one should Possess
Comfortable in solving Math problems, Problem-Solving & Scientific Reasoning, Technical Knowledge, Reality checks, good reading habits, and application of concepts in day-to-day life is required if you want to opt for the PCM course after your 10th standard.
Advantages and disadvantages of PCM
The advantage is you can skip studying biology subjects and can skip practicing diagrams or non-medical subjects.
The disadvantage is after completion of your 12th standard, if you are not sure about the continuation of engineering you should go back to 11th again and repeat it again.
If you are looking to acquire the best coaching on the foundation, medical and non-medical subjects. No worries Tutoroot is the solution for all your subject queries. Enroll and gain quality tutoring course provisions, revision, and much more.

"Day 187"
Today....
Actually today what happened is...I have to take two batches of 10th..1.5 hr each....in the first and second both batches class went well as in today..but...I've did a mistake in ratio of dihybrid cross....actually I got stuck and then I apologized...in second batch I am unable to control the students...like I don't know... everything goes not so well today....but Manisha Mehta.... crying or feeling bad is not the solution....so what the solution is????...
Questioning...
1. Do all the students still thinking about you...more than you???..😂😂😂😂....no they don't care at all....at all...
2. Do they remember me with my mistakes only..?
No...they'll definitely remember me for my work...my good thought process...and different teaching style...most of them....for sure...
3. What is my mistake?
Not well prepared..not well planned....notes checking and assignment should be done... thinking so much about it.... actually it's beneficial though...and last mistake is unable to handle properly the class and my mistakes..yupp...
4. What next?
Promising myself...learn from mistakes...and not to repeat these mistakes....
But how to make students to be in discipline..??
Shouting is not permanent solution...then what??think of it...Mish...think...and write your answer after finding out here...okayy...
.....
And that student who misbehaved in class...?
Forgive him...but make him realise his mistake without being rude... frustrated...and wrong...
Because remember that Insaan toh galtiyon ka kathputla h...or me insaan hu..🤗🤗🤭😂😂☺️☺️☺️☺️🥰🥰🙌🙌🙌✨..
And Manisha Mehta....I am proud of myself... really proud...you'll definitely be the best teacher in this world and a very successful person soon....for sure....!
Till then....
Hope you'll get what is correct for you in your life ❤️💫..
Best wishes & Regards 🤗
Manisha Mehta

The mercs with a SO with telekinetic abilities? Kinda like Stephen King’s Carrie White ( can usually control it but sometimes will go into a trance and cause all sorts of anarchy when horribly overwhelmed) If you don’t want to do all of them how about medic, scout, and spy :3
OOOOOOO okay that concept sounds really fucking interesting. As we all know the tf2 universe is wack as hell and so like, yeah this concept..
Let's get general hcs out of the way before going into specifics with each of the 3 to give everyone a better understanding of like...my thought process??? (I'll mention the other ones in passing through this but I'll be focusing on the specific 3 you've given me).
I imagine if there was such a 10th class, one that is telekinetic, I'll be calling them the Telepath as their class name, I assume would have gotten such an ability through means of. Well. Obviously telekinesis is very not normal so this could go lots of ways, taking into account that you mention specifically causing anarchy when overwhelmed/experiencing a breakdown I wanna be fun and say the Telepath got this ability in the form of a curse. (For what? Idk have fun with deciding, I'd like to hear!)
I would like to say they've been experiencing this curse for years of their life and had grown old enough with it to the point of knowing how to keep such an ability in check as, when not doing that it could lead to dire consequences. That being in the form of a completely wrecked house or general surroundings.
So by the time they were employed as a mercenary they are well fitted with the knowledge of how they know it works, how they personally deal with it, how far this ability can really go as in they know their limits, and how to control/keep themselves in check as to not break anything..doesn't mean that absolutely nothing happens of course but for the most part, is able to keep things unbroken.
Now, with that out of the way, let's get into the 3 specific mercs you've picked for me to talk about.
Medic:
(General)
You had his attention ever since he read the words "Telekinetic" on your papers that were given for him to observe any medical records! He was excited to meet you..and experiment on/with you specifically. No doctor just has patients with telekinesis!! He's most definitely going to take every opportunity he can to run experiments on you to see just how much the difference goes between you and just a normal human subject.
Practically bouncing on the heels of his feet, his hand lightly shaking under your firm hold of a handshake, an unsettling grin on his features as you both shook has when you first met but..again! He was excited and eager to start whenever he can with the experiments he has planned.
Insanely talkative with you during said experiments. He gets like this when he's eager to devour any knowledge and experience he can get his bloodied hands on..and talking helps him think more. He can talk about just. Super casual things that has nothing to do with what he's doing or talking about what he's doing in the moment (although you're not sure if it's for your sake or if it's just a habit he does for himself.)
Finds it absolutely rejuvenating to watch you fight on the field. You're really something! It's glorious to see your telekinesis abilities in action, while your abilities can only do so much, the much it could do was such a sight! Ohoho!! How you can break enemy bones, their blood decorating the hot sandy grounds of the desert, how you can use the rough terrain to your advantage and gain the upper hand..You're thrilling to watch.
While he can see some restraint on your part when it comes to keeping your emotions in check the best way you possibly can, (as he is well aware of what can come of you becoming wildly overwhelmed) He still chooses to work with you more on how to better your ways of doing so...better??
He's not the most patient man, not by a wide margin or patient in any sense of the word, he has to understand that it also wouldn't be wise to just. Fly off the handle when getting frustrated with you in particular for whatever reason as doing so would result in a completely wrecked base. He keeps this in mind because once they've all experienced such an attack its not really something that you can really forget ya know? That's not to say he's softer with you when talking to you or being less blunt but he can show some restraint on his own emotions just a bit for you.
(Romantic)
-apologies if the telekinetics aren't really talked about here, I feel like overall telekinetics are used more so on the battle field and not for everything the Telepath does
Realizes that overall, you've done a good job managing yourself when it comes to being grounded and staying calm in situations where he could even say he probably wouldn't be as calm. Accompany this with you willingly working with him to find perhaps even better solutions to better dealing with it and you then gain just a bit of admiration on the "doctor's" part.
I view Medic as someone who's generally more willing to let looser when he's around someone he's particularly close with. More fun, less...serious if you will?? Sure he's generally jovial and not serious, but I imagine he's even more so when around company he actually enjoys being around so it's no surprise it's what he started doing with you if you both actually gained a bit of a friendship.
It's a common occurrence to see you both messing with each other in a playful manner, nothing downright cruel or mean, just playful. Ex. When he tries the "Ohoho! You can't possibly reach what you're wanting! Look at how short you are compared to me!" Being a tall man and holding something out of your reach to which using your telepathetic abilities you're able to slip said thing out of his hands quite easily, which leaves the man chuckling as he means it all in good fun.
If you're sitting there like "wtf I want some soft stuff too give it to me you bitch" I reply "okay man mfuck" and give you the softer stuff like, right now. Never fails to get a small smile out of him if you were to use your telekinetics to just brush a stray hair our of his face and smooth it back in place to keep his hair neat. Or if you use it to push his spectacles gently back on his face correctly and no longer crooked on his nose.
Enjoys just the simple touches such as you hooking his arm with yours as he works for a little bit if the work he's doing doesn't require a lot of movement, or just a simple kiss to his cheeks and nose..maybe a peck to his lips if he's busy with something. Not to say he doesn't enjoy more lingering touches when he's not horribly busy however!
Quite enjoys laying his head against yours and leaning some of his body weight onto yours and you doing the same back to him as to balance the both of you out into something more comfortable. He finds that your presence is good to have while he works, helps him feel down to earth and less tightly wrapped in his spiels of thoughts.
Scout:
(General)
Finds that your presence and abilities are both handy on field, although he insists you're not as good as him..he's not gonna not give you credit for how utterly fucking cool it is to see someone use something that resembles literal super powers!! But! He also finds your skills useful for playing any tricks on an unsuspecting teammate...if you're in on it of course, if not he'll complain and whine to you that you should at least try it with him and to think of how cool and funny it would be if you did.
Beg you to do things like, for instance, could you make him fly in the air? Your abilities can only go so far of course and not wanting to disappoint, you were successful!...for a few minutes before his ass flopped onto the floor and he got a bloody nose. However as if blood was not dripping from his face currently he was insistent that they have got to try it again sometime!! Flying felt so cool!!
Probably the teammate who has the most interest in your abilities solely for the fact he thinks it's super cool and only thinks of cool ways for you to use it cause..c'mon!!! He doesn't understand why you wouldn't just use it all the time it would make SO many things easier!!
In an attempt to understand you as a person better and how you live with such an ability he's keen on asking questions if you don't get annoyed with him asking so many and then shooing him off. His questions are more so for curiosity and getting to know you reasons as opposed to Medic's who curiosity was mostly scientific.
He's a dude who has a sense of longing to have..someone to like/relate to. Someone to trust and call his friend! And if you're able to show him that you're someone who can deal with his antics, questions, and things that others will find annoying but are things you accept of him..hey man. You got his loyalty and friendship. Take good care of that.
He really likes to talk about just a bunch of things if you're someone he considers a friend. He's not holding back! He's gonna let you hear all of thoughts he has in the world! Or..talk to you about more serious things that only you as friends would share with each other and no one else perhaps...his worries with his mom and knucklehead brothers, or you and your worries.
(Romantic)
Scout is someone that could be described as super touchy with those he feels close enough to. Which st this base, he doesn't consider anybody quite close enough for anyone to ever see. 'Cept you of course. Growing closer to Scout he's way more comfortable wrapping an arm over your shoulders, giving you side hugs, bumping your side with his affectionately and such.
Okay in his defense with that date he tried to set up with Pauling he totally wasn't expecting a giant fucking mutant bread to come and attack the lot of them so, technically while Spy considers him a failure in the department of wooing women the set up of the date wasn't....horrible???? I mean. It looked like a prom yeah but hey! He's learned a thing or 2 from that experience and so he's more likely to have something at least slightly suited more to your tastes since he's gotten to know you better.
You like to push his cap over his eyes quickly with just a flick of your telekinesis before battle starts, leaving him to laugh and fix it before he quickly and effortlessly catches right back up to you anyways. It's okay though, he gets you back later by pressing a cold beer to your neck if the battle is won.
If given the go ahead by you he'll sit with you somewhere and have either an arm draped over your shoulder or your head on his chest as drones on and on about whatever it is he's currently thinking about. He likes talking, and you like listening to him talk even if you don't follow every single thing he says, you get some comfort out of it.
He won't admit to anyone..but you maybe, that your a huge softspot he has. Like, his family is his softspot..and with family that includes his mom, his brothers, and you to some extent, and he'll be sure to remind you every now and again that he's loyal to you and only you. You can trust him when tells you, but reminding you about that fact never hurts!
Overall, he trusts and loves you to the fullest and he can only hope that you return both of those in full back to him. He's indulged the most information about himself personally and his worries to you and only you, and you've done the same for him.
Spy:
(General)
Standoffish with you in your initial meeting. Your first impression of him was one you couldn't really say was kind or nice in anyway. While the man wasn't downright cruel he still couldn't be described as nice. After all, he did blow smoke in your face upon initial meeting. However, you didn't return this first impression in kind back as you were quick to gather the smoke blown at you in a sphere kind of shape and have it blown right back in his own face, his expression souring quite a bit.
He can be mad all he wants, but you let it be known on your first meeting that you're not letting yourself get pushed around. Something that while not in that moment, he grows to appreciate and admire that you're not gonna let people like him walk all over you.
Once you've proven your worth as a teammate to be welcomed on the team by proving yourself in the face of battle, he's lightens up on you considerably. He views his actions as a sort of..tough love kind of situation if you will. He figures that, if you're really deemed fit enough to have your own spot on the team with the rest of them..then he has no need to keep being tough on you as he thinks it would no longer be necessary if you're already here to stay correct?
Finds some of your antics when using your telekinesis amusing..not that he would admit that out loud of course. You swear you might of heard a sucking in of breath to laugh, soft chuckles, or hell even a few snorts from this man a few times when you mess with people but..you also didn't have proof it was him so you wouldn't know completely.
Has admitted to you at one point that you were more tolerable to be around as opposed to the other teammates, not to say that none of them could hold good conversation no, but most could get a bit tiring to socialize with and it was quick to make him want to reside back in his smoking room. You however, were someone he can actually bear to talk to for more than an hour.
Can also admire your skill and how well in check you can keep yourself, it shows serious restraint on your part and that's not so easy for everyone. He finds it admirable that you try so hard as to not cause any kind of harm to anyone or break anything.
(Romantic)
Okay dunno if you can tell but this guy is very much not a low key kind of partner. He's one to shell out quite a pretty penny on gifts he knows you'll enjoy or dates he takes you on. It's a love language of his.
Is also not low key at all when it comes to affection much in public. Hand holding, kisses to the corner of your mouth, kisses to your hands and forehead, the works of that sort but is sure to not overwhelm you if you're not to heavy on that.
You can give the love back whenever you're on the base, super simple things that sure, aren't as out there as Spy's but are gestures he can appreciate no matter how small they are. Using your telekinesis to fetch him a lighter from across the room as to not have him get up to retrieve it, or to use it to tidy up his tie or flick dust and dirt off of his pristine suit.
You find that although unwilling to part with too much information himself, he's very much listening to things you have to say. A sharp eared good listener if you will, he supposes all of those years of eavesdropping on his end has done him some good as he's very much still listening even though he may be occupied with something.
Indulges himself in your company far more than anyone else. Mostly in the dark evenings as he's usually off doing his own things after battle whatever those things may be. Isn't one to talk about work when everyone is clearly not having to do it as of right now, he just wants to wind down at least a tad (as he never allows himself to completely relax as that would pose a danger to the kind of job he has of course.)
Finds that your a good reading partner, not for reading out loud to or you reading out loud for him but, you're someone good to be around if you wish to work around someone who has a bit of life around them as although silent in speech you're not silent in activities that don't require talking. Reading for example, you don't speak but you're also not silent, your soft breathing, maybe the quiet whistle of your nose as you breath out, the light sound of your bouncing your leg against fabric, or just the sound of rustling and turning pages. It calms him.

Bloodsuckers - Interview with the director Julian Radlmaier

Stylistically, the film is somewhat reminiscent of Roy and Wes Anderson. Am I right, or where does the inspiration for your style come from?
I hear that all the time. But I think that they and I still have common role models in the past. For me, for example, it's Jacques Tati, from whom the desire for rhythmic movements through choreographed long shots comes.
As great as Wes Anderson is, for me, something messy, awkward is always important as well. That's why I also like to work with layers so that every element isn't perfectly styled and timed through and there's a certain resistance of the world and reality that can be found in the film.
How did the idea for the film come about?
For me it's usually weird commutation effects, a basic idea that changes 1000 times and then eventually that comes out. I originally had a very different idea for the film, which was to be set in Los Angeles on the coast.
I've always been interested in Eastern European history and the Soviet Union, and they've been in my other films. Then I read a biography of Sergey Eisenstein in which there was a detail that gave me the basic idea for the film. It was about the shooting of the film October, which Eisenstein made in 1927 for the 10th anniversary of the October Revolution. There the figure of Leon Trotsky appears as a historical character, but he had to be cut from the film under orders from Stalin.
Moreover, the biography said that Trotsky's body actor is a kind of dentist in real life. This struck me as a very weird detail. What kind of dentist should he be, and how did he become an Eisenstein actor?
At the same time, I was reading a novel by a Soviet writer at the time about a character who leaves the Soviet Union in the '20s and ends up in Germany and later in America. So a movement out of early socialism into capitalism. Then the third building block was that there are a lot of vampires in 'Das Kapital' by Marx. And after all, everything then came together to form a universe.
Although the film is set in the 1920s, modern objects such as a Coke can or a motorcycle appear, again and again, indicating the topicality of the theme. Are there any ideas from the revolution or Marxism that are still realistic or desirable today?
Absolutely. The film is not meant to be propaganda for a Marxist agenda. But what I'm interested in is the basic perception of society as a class society, where a few own a lot and many own little and are very limited in how they want to live their lives. And the question of how the structures determine who does what work in society. And as well the human level- what do you have to spend your time on? This is described in Marx's Capital as a fundamental problem.
The whole critique of capitalism is also very coherent in my opinion. But Marx himself has only a few answers how a socialist society should look like. My film doesn't provide any clarity there either. It's more about certain ethical questions. People lost their faith in the socialist solution in the 1920s, as they do today, and now they seem to find themselves in such a hopeless situation. In such a dangerous situation, from which there seems to be no progressive way out, there is a danger that society might tip over into something fascist. However, the film does not describe the emergence of National Socialism, but how in a capitalist class society minorities are quickly used as scapegoats for the conflicts.
You also wrote the screenplay, for which you were even awarded the Lola in 2019. How long did that take and what was your writing routine?
The process was wave-like. I wrote a treatment first, which I don't normally do. But that had to do with grant application routines and made the film relatively plot-heavy for me, as opposed to otherwise. Because a relatively large, historical, political construct is being opened up, I was afraid that things would be misunderstood. I wrote a basic version of the book pretty quickly in 6 weeks. But then there was a very long time for fine-tuning, during which I changed some dialogue sentences and scenes. So long until I had the feeling that the overall message of the film was right and more complex than just 'the capitalists are evil vampires'.
Could you describe the creative process from the idea to the production?
While writing the treatment, I already had an idea for the casting - who could play which role, since I often work with the same people. Many are friends and acquaintances. Sometimes I also adapt the roles to the players a little bit. So when the book is finished, a lot of preliminary work has already been done. In the final writing phase, a lot of preparation is done in parallel. For example, we look for locations that not only fit the finished script description but also interest us on another level. I didn't do much research in historical books, because the goal was not to depict something, but rather to search in reality. So the process can be described as a back and forth between making something up and checking it against reality, which then affects the plan again. Then when you shoot you have hopefully accumulated most of it. It's also a kind of differentiation process in which you become more and more small-scale.
Interview conducted during the Berlinale 2021 by Anne Robben. Many thanks to the festival and the NOISE Film PR agency.

When the Planet ♃ of Luck, Growth, and Expansion was traversing through his home territory of Sagittarius, the party didn’t stop! Sustainable Waste Management in the Township of Langley
The Township of Langley is a fast-growing community with over 126,000 residents. Population growth was 13% between the 2006 and 2011 census, the highest of any Metro Vancouver municipality, and 12.6% over the last census period (2011-2016). It is expected to double by 2040.
The Aldergrove Star recently reported that the TransLink Mayors’ Council approved the business case on the full link to downtown Langley City with a Skytrain station in the Township on 196 Street. Along with rapid business and infrastructure growth, and a strong agriculture sector, the Township has also seen huge growth in the film industry in recent years, with over $40 million injected into the local economy by movie makers and television producers. The Township's awe-inspiring civic and recreational facilities, gorgeous housing and premier higher education institutions such as Trinity Western and Kwantlen Polytechnic are what make the district municipality such an attractive place to live. A key fact about the Township is that it is home to half of the farms in Metro Vancouver. Local farm gate receipts total approximately $200 million per year and the Township is always looking for ways to increase farmers’ income and local prosperity.
One area that requires special attention during the Township's next phase of growth is waste management. Currently, all residential properties in the Township are entitled to recycling pick-up and garbage pick-up within the designated area. And as organics are banned from Metro Vancouver landfill and transfer stations, rural properties are recommended to turn their organic waste into compost, hire a private collection service for their garbage, recycling and organics, or self-haul and drop it off at the local Transfer Station (minimum charges apply). It is overall a very energy intensive process. The question to ask: Is it future-proof?
Neighbouring City of Surrey won the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators’ 2018 CAMA Willis Award for Innovation, in the over 100,000 population category for its waste management system, among other prestigious awards like the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure's 2018 Envision Platinum award. Surrey has a 70% eventual waste diversion rate, among the highest in North America, allowing Surrey to become a city that is truly carbon neutral, unlike other cities that buy and exchange credits. This is hugely due to the municipality’s 3 bin waste collection system composed of garbage, organics and recyclables. Biofuels (i.e natural gas) power the entire municipal fleet of garbage trucks, is also used by civic centres and sold to local utilities, as well as producing nutrient-rich compost. The primary biofuel facility in Surrey is in Port Kells, that was built in 2018 for $68 million and a second facility called Newton EcoCentre is the talk of the town with a price tag of $37 million. Note that institutions like KPU have a 5 bin waste collection system.
Similar to rapidly growing Surrey, it may just be the right time for the Township to consider its own biofuel recycling facility servicing urban and rural properties. These facilities emit no odours, help reduce community-wide greenhouse gas (especially from methane which is a problem arising from local farms). The facilities are able to process tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste per year, equivalent to taking tens of thousands of cars off the road annually. A world class waste management system in the Township would require providing proper education for its garbage, recycling and organic waste collection. High participation rates will make the investment that much more effective.
It is to be noted that much of the Township’s growing population includes immigrants. One group is the South Asian community arriving from rural areas that also have agriculture-based economies. They may be better supported by creating such new waste management facilities. For example, crop burning is a major problem in India that lacks other means of recycling agricultural waste. NASA has observed crop burning to contribute to air pollution and it can increase risk for all sorts of health and respiratory problems like pneumonia, that is currently a major global concern being spread through coronaviruses. Biofuel facilities that provide natural gas could potentially lower costs of heating homes, while lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and this practice could benefit the incoming population from Eastern Europe as well. For example, rural Poland experiences a great amount of air pollution from the burning of garbage for heating, another issue leading to severe respiratory problems. The farming regions of South Asia and Eastern Europe and many other parts of the world are also experiencing rapid population growth, but the real problem is lack of infrastructure to manage that population. Though the Township is lucky to avoid major issues related to crop and garbage burning, it is possible for Canadians and future Canadians to lead by example through innovation. Immigrant communities could provide anecdotes about the Township’s strategies to their family and friends back in their homelands and help shape a global climate change strategy. Everyone would be enabled to do their part in reducing emissions as Canada leads on the world stage. Immigration is not expected to slow down in Canada, nor do we expect a decline in Township residents’ passion for farming. It is entirely possible to future-proof the Township by investing in biofuel facilities as a means of preventing environmental degradation from excess landfill. The overall rising costs of recycling for a large agriculture sector, coupled with a rapid growing population and economy will eventually require such innovative solutions. A growing municipal fleet could be powered by the natural gas produced at the biofuel facilities, with additional gas for heating civic centres and homes, and sold to gas companies. Nutrient-rich soil is another by-product of biofuel facilities. This closed-loop system would enable the Township to afford paying farmers for their organic waste, as opposed to making them pay. It would increase their income and quality of life for all residents in the Township and nearby municipalities.
