Changing Fae's colors back and forth in basically every drawing. This time I referenced the sprite I made. (I'll put this below the cut too)

It's my first time drawing any of my fankids! (: The boys are Geralt <- (intentional spelling) and Nader -> (eldest). Fae and Claude have a total of 4 children, and in worldstates with Avery (my Shez OC), Fae also has a child with him, and in various au's they also have a parental relationship to my Hilda x Lorenz fankids.

esra is a crestless child and since shes almyran born and raised, that hold nothing to her status as a princess, but to two fathers who are in possession of two relics and have an overly curious child- it gets to be a little bit of a problem

claude caught her trying to sneak into his personal study to get a closer look at failnaught and tried to scare her with a story of his past. it turns out if you tell kids terrifying stories of being turned into monsters they get nightmares, who’da thunk huh!!

She’s Claude’s oldest and heir, and the house leader for Golden Deer this year. She specalized in bows, swords, horseback riding, causing trouble, and cooking! Her oldest friend is Lucian Alexander Blaiddyd, and she’s always trying to pull him into her plans (he is easily persuaded).

I have a series called Golden Discretion which I chip away at to explore post-canon moments. The fic Gentle Moments focuses on fluff and hurt/comfort. It’s Claudeweek2021 on twitter so I wrote the latest chapter based on the prompt Wyvern.

Claude remembered his first independent wyvern ride out over the crags in an eastern Almyran badlands; it had just been him and his trainer, while his mother watched from far below, not provided a wyvern for the occasion. It had been no more his first wyvern ride as this was for his sons, cradled in tradition and the sky, but he was giving them an experience he’d never had, surrounded by safety and family and joy.

If they were going to fall, it was going to be in the soft dunes in a northern desert, not on pointed stones. Their first beasts were trained for the purpose of flying low over the sandy hills, bred for their calm nature and practiced with years of socialization around juvenile wyverns and humans alike.

Regardless, Claude couldn’t suppress the whole of his anxieties. Never again would there be a need to cradle them to his heartbeat as he took flight; though it had been years since he’d done this already. In a few years he mightn’t even need a dual-seating saddle, when his daughter started riding, and with Fae well practiced from their continuous travel from one side of Omoya to the other.

Gender: Female

General Appearance: She takes strongly after Claude, sharing his complexion and hair color, though she gets her height from Hubert and ends up almost as tall as him. Her eyes are closer to Hubert’s in color as well, and once she’s old enough to decide how to style her hair herself, she keeps it cut rather short to avoid getting in her way

Personality: Hildegard is a bit of an oddball given her parents and doesn’t really have the patience for planning or tactics, particularly when she’s young. She loves adventure and detests stuffy boring old nobles and likes to run amok around the Almyran and Imperial palaces. Once she gets a bit older, she settles down little and proves that she did inherit her fathers’ more analytical sides and can scheme and plot with the best of them as long as she doesn’t get bored halfway through

Special Talents: She has a way of getting herself into places she shouldn’t, particularly ones up very high. As soon as she learns to walk, she starts to climb (much to Hubert’s horror) and loves to get up to the highest point possible, be it in a tree or on the roof of the Imperial Palace 

Who they like better: Claude when she’s younger as he seems a lot more fun and less stuffy, but once she gets to be an adult, she learns to understand both her fathers better and loves them fairly equally

Who they take after more: Claude for sure, though she can channel Hubert when she feels like being spooky

Personal Head canon: Her name is a combination of Hilda and Edelgard, something that Hubert and Claude insist is a coincidence but everyone knows better
