Finished ‘Wolf Brother’ this morning, and swiftly moved on to the second book, walked my dog and got excited by all the trees that are finally starting to change colour, put all my washing away, read more ‘Spirit Walker’ and from my design magazine, watched TV with my dad, and finally a nice long hot bath.

Does anybody know how to clean a vintage Jean jacket without ruining it? Google won't give me a straight answer and I don't want to risk it
It's by the brand Izzi, I assume it's from the 80s, I believe there is some discoloration in the fabric, and it smells very old and musty

My friend and I decided that Sanji definitely has a 10-step daily shower routine. And then there’s Zoro and his weekly baths. I love them, your honor.

the wangxian + a-yuan "dads with an adopted son" thing is fine and enjoyable in fanfics honestly but I think we as a fandom are really not utilizing the idea of all of them in unconventional familial structures enough. Like, canonically it wasn't so much that wwx was a-yuan's guardian as that a-yuan was being raised collectively by the wens and wwx was adopted INTO the larger wen family. And lwj got attached to him through that. A-yuan just has these very attached weird uncles/older cousin figures that aren't related to him by blood at all but keep sticking around.
Just think of a modern AU with a lot less death where lwj does as he does in canon and keeps showering a-yuan in gifts as much as he can and when wwx is like "aiyah lan zhan you're gonna spoil him. Not everyone is as rich as you! What's his family supposed to say if they can't buy him all the stuff you do?" lwj just goes "Hm". And from then on out every year once a-yuan's birthday is near the extended Wen family members (well. the ones that are invited that is. No one wants wen chao at a birthday party) wakes up to a wechat payment from lwj.
Random wen cousin number 6 texts granny like
cousin 6: i just got 400 yuan????
granny: oh that's just wangji
cousin 6: i've never met this guy in my life???
granny: he wants you to buy a-yuan a nice birthday present!
cousin 6: how does he know my bank account???

there’s something fascinating about people deriding something for being too “easy,” lamenting that people are being “lazy” and “taking the easy way out” in their choice to do one thing over another (taking the escalator versus the stairs, using a stand mixer versus a whisk, &c.) and then tacking on something like “(obviously unless you actually need accommodations)”—
as though that’s “obvious,” and as though sentiment that derides easy things for being easy and acts as though labour is automatically edifying or otherwise a moral good can be “on” the rest of the time and then flicked “off” as with a switch only when considering disabled people.
in fact this exact same sentiment (that doing things the “easy” way is shameful) keeps people who are disabled from seeking accommodations, from resting, or from using mobility aids until they are literally on the verge of collapse. because they think they don’t “need” help until their health has gotten so bad that they can no longer ignore it.
it’s absolutely not obvious what “need” means in these situations. if you make effort-saving measures seem like exceptions only to be made in very rare cases of “need,” you’re going to discourage a lot of people who would benefit from them from seeking them out.

If I drop an apple, it must fall. If I assume, it must manifest.
Do you doubt the laws of gravity?
How exactly should you assume? Imagination creates reality, when I was new to this I used to think imagination = visualising. Buuut, imagination is anything you create, it could be visualisation, feeling, thinking and honestly anything including inner conversations.
This week, lets really focus on cutting out unwanted imaginal acts and replacing them with more fulfilling ones.

You are not a pawn, you are a god.
Best of luck xx
Ps: watch this vid on mental diets, honestly hes my therapy guy
