“Cloud Atlas” is a movie that I loved immediately, even if I didn’t realize it. An epic about six stories of rebellion, love, and death over 500 years, the film by the Wachowski sisters and Tom Tykwer is a lot to process- not just in narrative, but in the way it uses its cast to embody those stories. As soon as I saw this film, it assured I would never forget it, including a score that is as vital to the film’s storytelling as any we’ve ever heard.
