Very slowly getting through all my otome posts from picsart!! Anyways! Van Helsing route post lets go!!

As usual, spoiler warning for van helsing’s route in code: realize guardian of rebirth under the cut!

honestly, going into it i didnt think i would enjoy his route that much just because i wasnt that drawn to him as a character?? idk theres nothing wrong with him i just didnt like him as much as i liked the other LIs so i thought id be kinda bored during his route. i was very pleasantly surprised though! it was. an emotional rollercoaster near the end for sure but, yknow. 

alright right off the bat i was absolutely living for the lore and story surrounding the vampire war. like i was already super interested in it based off of things from impeys route and the common route so his was super nice. also like?? delly. holy shit. he went through so much character development. like around the end when he realized he didnt want to kill van and just wanted peace??? omg. 

i also?? really liked finis’s whole deal in this route. like tbh i feel like i had even more questions about him as a character than i did before i played vans route (most of which were answered in lupin’s route, as i was hoping they would be) but thats a good thing for a writer to do in certain cases imo. like im intrigued! i want to learn more about this character! also super interesting how up until after finis dies, we believe he was the one to kill van helsings family. which i think just adds more to aleisters manipulation and how far it went. 

i feel like this post is a lot less in-depth than my other c:r posts (and other otome game posts from my picsart) and i really do not know why. anyways. working on the lupin post! it should be up shortly after this one.

Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth Mod!

Hello everypony!! I have been playing code realize for some weeks now and I decided that I wanted to change the music in-game. I patched together my first mod and now have a code realize mod for switch emulators that replaces the music with the bleach soundtrack (featuring a few Soul Eater tracks). This is an incredibly self-indulgent mod. It would be cool if someone played the game with this all the way through, but I'm mostly putting this up for funsies!! If there are any issues with the mod let me know and the tracklist is available upon request!

I've been using ryujinx to run the mod btw!!

Side post: Anime Convention Haul!

I went to Kumoricon this weekend! Got some really neat autographs from some really awesome people!

Had Karen Strassman (Rouge) sign my copy of Sonic Generations. And Brandon McInnis (Count St. Germain from the anime) for my copy of Code Realize! The gold Brandon used to sign it was literally perfect.

And finally I had my volume 1 copy of the manga My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead To Doom signed by the anime voice actor Jeannie Tirado. She even drew a little doom flag for me! So cool!

So I had an awesome con day.

And also horses. I just really love horses.

There was also a giant Doujinshi booth. I did pick some up but I’m going to leave my Doujinshi taste to be a mystery. 😜
