প্রাচীন থেকে আধুনিক: সংখ্যা পদ্ধতির বিবর্তন ও ডিজিটাল যুগের প্রভাব

শূন্যের উদ্ভব ও ইতিহাস: ভারতীয় গণিত থেকে বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রসার   প্রাচীন সভ্যতাগুলো সংখ্যা ও গণিতের বিভিন্ন পদ্ধতি উদ্ভাবন করে। উল্লেখযোগ্য কয়েকটি পদ্ধতি হলো: মেসোপটেমীয় সংখ্যা পদ্ধতি মেসোপটেমীয় This is a difficult question for me because honestly most of the time when I want to read something for comfort, I usually either pull up Scrivener or my own AO3 page and read some hurt/comfort I wrote, because almost all of what I write is stuff I want to read. My other comfort reading habits are favorite middle-grade or YA novels from my youth (The Pushcart War, Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher, and the first few Young Wizards books) and, um, fics for pairings and fandoms I have no investment in, so one of my faves is a hockey RPF academic AU, and there's some good tropey MCU fic I've enjoyed, particularly time travel stuff. There's also a few friends-to-lovers pairings that I can just go to the fic tag and read a bunch of when I'm down. (Examples include Arthur/Merlin (BBC versions) and Aziraphale/Crowley.) But! Anyway, this one is great and has themes of Rethinking Your Whole Entire Life As An Adult Who's Supposed To Have Everything Figured Out, but frankly so do a lot of her fics, which I appreciate as an adult who has absolutely never had anything figured out except like, how to write funny dialogue.

“Kira's relieved that his actions never seemed to arouse any suspicion in Shinobu, but he’s found himself with another problem instead. The woman - his ‘wife’ - is taken with him. She flirts, she smiles, she sets her head on his chest and she rests easily with him, unaware of how his hands long to simply wrap around that slim neck of hers and strangle, strangle, strangle until her mouth drops open and her face is as blue as the delicate little veins that run along the insides of her wrists.”

The ultimate KiraShino story imo. Perfectly in character and touching when it’s all over. Shinobu being needy turns into the two of them becoming much more closer when the sun goes down.

Prettily written with descriptions that make you feel like you were reading straight from an enchanted storybook. Perfect Catch is a hidden gem that will give you all the butterflies!

Let Us Cling Together and Morioh Beach Vacation 1999 by engineDriver

“After a new development in their relationship, Kira distances himself from Shinobu to avoid compromising his new identity. Or is he trying to avoid something else? Will Shinobu find some way to get her “husband” to open up? {Pre-Bites the Dust}”

“Adjusting to his new life, Kira must face his one of his biggest challenges yet: a family vacation. Can he take the heat of the beach before he burns out completely?”

These are two separate stories, but it feels right to include them together! In both stories we see Kira and Shinobu grow closer and in MBV1999 Kira grows even a little closer to Hayato, too! Light hearted and heartwarming. I fawn over anything dealing with my problematic fav and his housewife gf.

Spoilers for part 5. I really enjoyed the exploration into Giorno’s grief following the events of Golden Wind. The last we see of Giorno in canon he’s stoic and sitting in an armchair fully embracing his role in the mafia. But what about the ones he’s lost and the loneliness that comes with being at the top? ANOTT handled the themes of moving on and grief beautifully and both Trish and Giorno were very much so in character.

song lyrics, and other people’s stories. sometimes i hear one line in a song and it hits me so fucking hard, and then i go berserk with ideas and just have to write something inspired by it.

and sometimes, reading another author’s take on a character is enough to keep me invested in that character for months, thinking up meta and scenarios and aus and all that! really love it when that happens, it’s fun.

6. how did writing change you?

i think it helped me develop a better sense of empathy, something i’ve struggled with through most of my life. writing enables me to understand things from another perspective, and it makes me keep an open mind about people and their circumstances, since you never know what’s going on behind the scenes or in their mind. it’s also made me a huge daydreamer bc i can’t stop thinking of stories just about all of the time, lmao.

13. hardest character to write

so far, mista. i’ve always found him a really unusual character and i can never decide which of his traits i should emphasise when writing him. i used to not really like him because i couldn’t ever get a proper read on his character, and while i do like him now i still feel similarly about writing him. he’s a complex boi!

22. favorite story you’ve ever written

that award would go to a personal story, but from this blog it’s all that glitters ain’t gold. i didn’t realise it when i was writing it, but looking back i think i really managed to get the vibe i was going for perfectly, and it’s a decently short length too! (writing short stories is a struggle for me rip)

Roads Converged, As Did the Stars by conceptofzero. read the warnings if you decide to check this fic out, but god the characterisation here, the plot, the relationships, just everything, it’s brilliant. i highly recommend this for giorno, dio and/or pucci fans.

30. hardest part of writing

for me, it’s getting ideas. i always want to do new things and provide fresh takes, but sometimes i feel like i can only recycle the same old shit over and over. it can take me a long time to get a unique idea i feel down to write.

also, finding new ways to describe things without relying on the usual metaphors or things i’ve already written before (honestly, finding a new way to describe pain or fear after having written so many horror stories is… not easy, at least for me).

31. easiest part of writing

dialogue. i love writing conversations, i’ve written dialogue-only stories before and enjoyed the challenge of getting the emotion across with absolutely no descriptors. i love reading stories like that too! it’s amazing how hard a one-liner can hit you if it’s done right.

39. do you want to be published some day?

that’s a cute dream, but i don’t think it’s something i could ever achieve.
