I don't think people understand how deadly Confringo is. Much more than Bombarda, in fact. The reason it was not taught at Hogwarts was exactly that: it's a fiery explosion, literal TNT, and it's also rumoured to be the spell that killed Fred Weasley in DH.

Avada Kedavra was the least of our concerns in the hands of Sebastian Sallow.

"You're probably right," Sebastian replied thoughtfully. “Give me another sip?” Stretching his hand in her direction, he looked up and froze. His gaze roamed over her exposed collarbones and slid down to where the wet cotton fabric was too tight against her heaving breasts. Montgomery immediately covered herself with her shirt. “Turn away!” she commanded, trying to hand him the bottle as quickly as possible. Sallow didn't seem embarrassed even for a split second. Having taken over the bottle, he, with a raised eyebrow, continued to devour her with his eyes, which made Nancy feel her cheeks burning even without any firewhisky. Surely, for her body, inexperienced with alcohol, a couple of sips should’ve been more than enough. That, at least, was how she explained to herself the sudden heat that was pleasantly spreading all over her body now. "Great idea, Montgomery." Sebastian was clearly amused by this situation. “I think I should follow your lead too.” Putting down the bottle, without taking his eyes off her, he began to undo the buttons of his shirt. Nancy immediately turned away, fleeing from his persistent gaze. Looking at the cracks in the dusty masonry with sudden interest, she sat without saying a word. The body gradually warmed up. “So that's what the Troll Whisperer is afraid of," she finally heard his mocking voice behind her back. “Next time in a duel it looks like I won't even need a wand.”

Well-well-well looks like the sparks are flying between these two (quite literally so) 🌚🌚🌚 After storming out of the Sallow's house, Nancy gets followed and attacked. The seventh chapter is out on ao3!

Honestly, the people commenting about how many times ‘you’ve probably used Crucio a million times already’ severely underestimate my commitment to stealth. Also my willingness to hand out blasting curses like candy.

After playing through hogwarts legacy for a third time (the game owns my soul and lives rent free in my head) I've come to the conclusion that I love the Jackdaws Rest quest the most because for every other quest I'm replaying I'm like 'yeah sure I'll do that now' yet when I see that damned bridge be fixed with such spectacle I'm reminded that that's what I love about this universe and that's what I play this game for.
