High pain and low energy at the moment, so this is just a very short post to gush over my recently obtained complete Akihabara Dennou Gumi LD box set. It ended up costing me $25 with shipping. What an absolute bargain. I've had individual volumes for years but not the full set in gorgeous condition so I'm feeling very happy rn.

I don't have a great track record with scanning LaserDiscs (my scanner genuinely hates them) but someday I would like to get around to scanning them all for... reasons.

She's finally complete! I said I wasn't gonna rush a project for a deadline, but it turns out I can bang out a fursuit in under a month if I'm motivated by the spirit of Halloween, so oops.

Malignant Data (no name yet, so I'm just gonna tag a codename) is inspired by classic creepypastas vibes, the need for good ventilation and my monochrome ass wardrobe.

She features a massive open able jaw, airbrushed details, kanekalon wig fiber hair, EVA Foam staples/stitches details, swap able tongues and a pose able (and UV Reactive) iris. Paws feature finger escapes. Fully lined for comfort with space for extra fans!

Patterns used: Sheenitude's Fursuit Neck Pattern Kloofsuit's Canine Foam Head Pattern (Heavily Modified)

If you were interested in Lies of P but hesitated because you aren't good at soulslikes, this is your sign to go ahead and buy it. It's on sale right now for thirty bucks. The new difficulty options don't require the DLC and they really do give you a LOT more breathing room.

There are a lot of souls-likes out there, and the vast majority of them cannot hold a candle to literally anything From Software produces. Lies of P is genuinely the first non-Fromsoft soulslike I've ever played that wasn't either janky, derivative, or (usually) both. The worldbuilding is really cool, the art direction is gorgeous, the voice acting is top notch, the story is good, and the gameplay and level design are excellent. With the new difficulty settings it's a great intro to soulslike style combat, but it's also deep and engaging for genre veterans.

If it hadn't had the misfortune of releasing the same year as Baldur's Gate 3 I really do think Lies of P could have been a serious contender for GOTY.

erm, ok so, confessing time lol I don’t listen to music while I draw 🙈 I either put on a podcast, a movie I’ve seen before or a long YouTube video

the podcast I like listening to is “And That’s Why We Drink” over at Spotify and/or YouTube, it’s a podcast where the hosts every episode exchange one paranormal story and one true crime story to each other (they don’t know each other’s stories prior recording) it’s really fun and also very queer and I love it hehe

another podcast I listen to is a Chilean one so it’s in (chilean) Spanish, since you know I’m chilean lol it’s called “Weona Qué Creici” and it’s basically two extremely gay dudes exchanging gay stories/anecdotes and it’s hysterical lmao

for long YouTube videos I like listening to Annamarie Forcino (lesbian commentary YouTuber), HannahTheHorrible (talks about creepy things and debunks paranormal videos, 10/10 creepy vibes), Luxeria (extremely hilarious trans YouTuber that does commentary on old reality shows from the 2000’s), Megan Anne (another lesbian commentary YouTuber lol) and Funky Frog Bait (non binary YouTuber that also does commentary lol)

Oh and Kennie J.D, love my girl Kennie, she’s a reaction YouTuber and has this hilarious series called Bad Movies & a Beat where she reviews really REALLY REAAALLY bad movies every Saturday

anyway, yeah……I don’t listen to music while drawing lol I only listen to music when I’m driving or in the public transport
