another recreation of a music videos with Splatoon characters, this one's for the 2nd anniversary of Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which is today :). original and alternate version under the cut
The left is the reference from the music video i used, the right is an alternate version i make since it wasnt too much work to just swap it
also oh my god splatoon characters are so disproportionate there's no way i could have made the pose look good. and them big ass hands. this was mostly a study on making the grass and background with the trees and such
Billy Hargrove's death was selfless, which means he died for others. But it's still not enough.
Say he ended up surviving the Mind Flayer. Would anything he does ever be enough to please this fandom?
I think we all know the answer to that.
It's very telling that if Billy had survived a majority of people would rather him go through a bunch of mandatory trials to fill some quota that let's be honest would never really be filled than separate him from his abusers so he can heal in a safe environment.
You'd rather have an abuse victim dance on hot coals for forgiveness than punish his abusers.
actually, i said that as a joke but. no genuinely for fucking real.
its so fucking hard to pick favourites songs. just pick an album and listen to the whole thing. any album. if you heard people saying Kendrick won a pullitzer, it was for DAMN. which is an incredibly good album to start with. To Pimp A Butterfly is the highest rated album of all time and is so fucking good. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is his newest full album and feels a bit different to the rest but still it's on the same quality. Section.80 and good kid, m.A.A.d. city are both incredibly solid albums and both iconic in their own way. everything this man puts out is amazing. It's hard to put into words how much i love it all sorry
If ur a kendrick fan reblog this with ur favourite song from each album to give non kendrick fans recommendations
What does the money machine eat? It eats youth, spontaneity, life, beauty, and, above all, it eats creativity. It eats quality and shits quantity. -William S. Burroughs
I care too much, wanna share too much
In my head too much, I shut down too
I ain't there too much, I'm a complex soul
They layered me up, then broke me down
And moralities dust, I lack in trust
