Some Gardening on my Balcony!

Happy times! The sun is out, I got a table and a chair standing here, so I can work while sitting, which makes this possible in the first place with a walking disability. It's a good feeling to create my own outdoor space. My balcony is a blessing, considering I have been homebound and unable to leave my living space without help since I'm 16, so almost half my life now and help offerings are very scarce, often corrupt or tied to misanthropic laws in my country.

It's all the more empowering to be able to grow something by myself and is a very peaceful hobby that helps me immensely with my mental health. As someone who lives very rural and grew up in a farm village this also makes me feel like I'm being part of it all at least a little bit. <3 And ofc as a Stardew farmer it also makes me happy to do some irl farming, too. :3

Cucumbers and pickles in this case (also strawberries in the back). Hopefully this years harvest will be as plentiful and blessed as last year. In honour of and with prayers to:
