#i've been reading fics with him in it and he's so mischaracterized it hurts #or it's written like he's some demon hajime has to suppress or that he's evil and it's like NO!!!!#dis you even pay attention to canon like even if u don't like DR3 his confrontation in SDR2 clearly shows him in mental anguish #he's literally just an observer who kills only when he needs to he's not some bloodthirsty freak like junko #he got so excited by the unpredictability of the rocking of a boat that he didn't even realize he was on a boat at first #yes he's (was) a bit of an ass but can you blame him he literally got lobotomized and lost all sense of identity #and then was taught that people without talent are worthless and was manipulated for his abilities
