Ok, so Muppet AU! Every ability user in canon is a muppet, except for Dazai, who nullifies both abilities and the physical state of being a muppet!

Now that that’s established:

Bram is already kind of a muppet, right?

(Whenever Bram spreads the vampirism, the newly infected muppet just gains a pair of glued-in fangs)

Corruption is just muppet-Chuuya on a string, being swung wildly about like the killer rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Imagine you are a muppet for as long as you can remember, and then one weird human pokes you, and suddenly you are also human for the first time alsksjdjf

Oh and the best part of this AU is Ranpo!!! Because if Fukuzawa convinced Ranpo that he had an ability when he was fifteen, then that means that Fukuzawa simultaneously had to convince a human boy that he was a muppet.

And Ranpo believes this for years.

Ranpo, a human man: “Haha, I have the best ability in the agency! >:D”

So I have aphantasia- meaning I can't picture things in my head- and lately it's been talked about more and more in popular culture. The memory stuff is from something else (all the gang has got pretty bad induced amnesia from Dream + co) but little Night got separated from the apples entirely as an extra precaution. i guess he'd be reverted but still goopy otherwise?? just shorter lmao??

but yeah, no corruption, no inventory. He's basically walking around soulless (but as far as he knows that's completely normal, what's everyone so weirded out about? what even is an inventory??) He can't be checked either but his stats are probably really fucked still. Strength-wise he's just a lil guy, he can't do much harm. He'd be like freakishly powerful if he was ticked off enough but he doesn't really have a way to channel that without the corruption

tbh i have greg tolan from just one of the guys to thank for my current tkk / cobra kai obsession. i decided to watch this movie randomly one day (loved it, very silly, sent me into a gender crisis - everything i need in a movie) and thought the bully looked REALLY familar. i looked him up and was like omg thats johnny from karate kid!! he was so good in this so i rewatched tkk for the first time in over a decade, loved it so much, my forever macchio crush reborn, watched the sequels…then 5 seasons of cobra kai…and oops here we are lmao so kudos to greg🌷🌷🌷
