CAT

Cat works as a part-time Death-Head in East faction. After getting a good deal which takes care of her finances, she has no need to make much other deals.

Cat’s real name is Catherine but no one uses it except in formal situations.

Cat is a newcomer in Death-Heads. She joined to bring money and food on the table when her husband Hagon got too sick to work. Hagon is permanently ill but manages as a home-stay dad.

She’s been married to Hagon for a long time. They’re old teenage sweethearts.

She and Hagon have got 4 kids; daughters Serafia and Amanda, and twin sons Anders and Viktor. Serafia is the oldest, Amanda is middle and twins are the youngest. Serafia is a mouse just like Cat is, while Amanda is a snake. Sons’ races are still unknown.

The children are named after my great-great and great-great-great grandparents

DHD: Leverage daemon au

(confession: I read the first 80% of golden compass in 2006 while waiting for christmas and thus new books and never finished it, so my rules for worldbuilding now!) Some things, everyone knows. Like how to breathe, and just as important. Separating hurts. Nothing cut can be made whole. Daemons don’t settle twice. Everyone in the business knew that Eliot Spencer’s Daemon had settled as an American black bear, and that Marron could kill just as viciously as he did.  Everyone deep in the business knew that he was Moreau’s right hand. Everyone in the business knew that Moreau’s best men were Severed.

Nate had never asked where Marron was, and neither had Sophie, though neither of them knew everything about his time with Moreau. He guessed they’d figured out something as close to the truth as anyone was going to guess, even Moreau. None but the two of them knew the truth, that Marron had run to save them both. That Marron had come back, a scruffy mongrel with a broken banner of a tail. She kept her distance the first few jobs, waiting in the Shadows. Eliot could always feel her there, just as strong as if she’d been only a few feet away. That wasn’t supposed to be how things worked, but no one had told Marron that. Parker, though, had noticed right away. “Like us,” she’d said, eyes flicking skyward. Rhodonite had settled as a Kestral young, after the first stint in Juvie. They’d agreed without needing to speak, aloud or otherwise, about it. That was how they worked. Who could say who’s idea anything they did was? They were the same, and neither of them suffered cages or locked doors lightly. “No,” Eliot had said, uncertain how much was a lie. “No,” Parker had returned. “You’re like us. It was safer. They don’t get that.” She was right about that. Hardison’s Chip, and Nate’s Vianney almost never left their shoulders. Remy had introduced himself when Nate had introduced Sophie to the team, a soft mink draped over a shoulder. “Remy. It’s short for anything you can think of,” he’d said, sliding off Sophie’s arm to investigate, shifting into a sleek, dark cat. He’d been Rembrant, Reminiscent, Remolade, Remnant; everything from a mobster’s coiled snake to a street rat’s street rat. It never bothered him what his name was, or what hers was--Sophie, Katherine, Charlotte, Laura. Names were as changeable as the color of her hair, the shade of his eyes.  “She never settles, so I don’t see why I have to. If you have a problem with that, I’ll bite you.” “I’ll bite you, too,” Sophie had laughed, a deadly glint in her eye. “So, Nate, what’s the score? auctober huge post

hello, i have decided to speed run doing the auctober thingy because i am bored and need to do something. so, let's get down to it.

STIMS omg where do i start. i fucking love stimming. my main stims i do with my hands. flapping, moving my hands in fists, doing crab claws, tippy tappy fingers, touching nice textures, doing a surfer dude hand thing and shaking my hand, etc. most of my stimming is done using my body, but i also love visual stims! i'm very picky about what visual stims i like, though.

INFO DUMPING im a pain in the arse for this. thank god for my partner who puts up with my constant info dumping. my current interests are the gnostic gospels, and ancient christian religion as a whole. my long term SpIns have been greek mythology, the victorian era and anatomy.

COLLECTIONS i collect books, stationery, and crystals! i love all of them so much. i kinda have an issue with stationery, particularly pens, because my dyspraxia makes my handwriting terrible so i much prefer to type- however, i keep buying pens i don't need!

ANIMAL FRIENDS i love dogs, when i'm not overstimulated. i prefer stuffed animals to real ones, though. cats make me happy, because of their general chill-ness, and they're much more palatable when i'm having a hard time as they require less attention and are less stimulating.

MUSIC my biggest obsession is music. i love most genres, i love all different types of music. i usually hyperfixate on a song that i then listen to for days, and then move onto a new one when the previous one stops being stimulating. the only time i don't want to listen to music is literally only when i'm having a meltdown.

STIM TOYS stim toys are awesome! i love fidget cubes and tangles, but like chewellery the most.

HYPERFOCUS god, the stuff i've got done when i'm hyperfocused. i did all of my studying for my a level exams (british exams for the last year of school before university aged 18 ish) in about a week, and i hyperfocused SO FUCKING HARD. i forgot to eat, forgot to drink, didn't sleep much, just worked. i do not endorse this behaviour, i was horribly burnt out after. however, hyperfocus can be a superpower! i've had some of my best creative ideas when i'm hyperfocusing.

DIVERSE i think it's really important that the autistic community, and more widely the neurodiverse community, is more inclusive of poc who are autistic. there's a serious problem with the whitewashing of autism, partially down to media representation and also due to misdiagnosis of autistic people of colour with other disorders.

COMFORT FOOD bread <33 chicken nuggets <33 chips <33 pasta <33 rice <33 anything plain and not overwhelming.

SELF-CARE god, self-care is difficult. i procrastinate doing self care all the time, even with basic hygiene. something that helps me is having a sticker chart for when i complete basic self-care tasks like brushing my teeth, showering, etc.

NEURODIVERGENT COMMUNITY there's a lot of problems with the nd community, but also a lot of positive aspects. i find misinformation is a big problem, especially on tiktok- like, sitting with your hand under your chin does not make you autistic (genuinely seen someone say this). however, the spreading of awareness that autism doesn't just present as a white cis straight boy with a genius level IQ and who acts 'robotic', and instead that autism presents itself in lots of different ways, especially in women and AFAB people.

SENSORY EUPHORIA woodpecker. sounds. i can't express to you, how happy this sound makes me.

ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION i use sign language when i lose speech, and also write things down. i'm privileged to not lose speech regularly, only when i'm very overwhelmed, and so i only really use these methods of alternative communication when i need to.

VERBAL STIMS i like to copy tiktok sounds, tbh, and famous vines. it's fun. i also say 'beep', buzz like a bee, and make other sounds that would not be considered neurotypical when i'm happy.

AU-DHD i have both autism and adhd, and having both makes it so that for some of my behaviours it is difficult to identify where they come from. what's helped me is learning to accept that it doesn't matter exactly what disorder causes which symptom, but instead learning how to cope with the symptom itself, if that makes sense? having autism and adhd can feel very polarising at times, with two disorders that can feel like they conflict so often, but with proper management life can get easier.

UNMASKING i'm working on this one. as a moderate support needs autistic, to some extent, i can't mask. i can't appear neurotypical all the time. even when i'm masking as hard as i can, people can still notice that there's something different. this has caused me a lot of self hatred and internalised ableism, which is something i'm working with a therapist to undo.

SENSORY PROFILE i flip-flop between being sensory seeking and sensory avoidant. depends on whether i'm under or overstimulated, tbh.

LGBTQ+ i identify as queer, and pansexual as a collective. due to being a system, my gender is all over the place, but i like xenogenders and neopronouns a lot.

ECHOLALIA i used to get in so much trouble for doing this. learning that suppressing my stims like echolalia could lead to an increased risk of burnout has led to a wakeup call for me, and has really helped me to learn to accept who i am and the way i stim.

SPECIAL INTERESTS greek mythology, ancient religion, the victorian era.

COMFORT MEDIA good omens, doctor who, marauders era harry potter (fuck jk tho)

SELF-ADVOCACY unfortunately, being autistic and afab has meant that i've had to really learn to advocate for myself while with medical professionals. it's a difficult journey, and i wish so much love and support to anyone going through the medical system.

DISABLED i identify as disabled, and also Mad. disabled isn't a bad word. there is nothing wrong with disabled people. we exist, we take up space, and we have inherent worth.

my first anime was sailor moon, and it holds a very special place in my heart, alongside other magical girl anime. Tutorial: Pacotes do The Sims 4

Oii, tudo bem?

Esse post tem o intuito de falar um pouco sobre os (vários) pacotes que temos para o the sims 4 e explicar mais ou menos como eles funcionam.

Dessa forma, nós temos 4 categorias de pacotes de conteúdo adicional ou DLC (sigla em inglês para “downloadable content” ou “conteúdo baixável” no português), para o The Sims 4. Aqui, eu vou indicar quais são essas categorias de pacotes, colocar a descrição oficial de cada um (nessa descrição eu vou misturar a descrição em português e em inglês porque eu percebi que a descrição oficial em português não tem algumas informações que tem na em inglês) e listar todos os pacotes em ordem de lançamento com os nomes tanto em português como em inglês (e as siglas em inglês que eu já vi serem utilizadas principalmente pelos criadores de mods).

I forgot to post this but say hello to Hod!/ Sweetwind a clan cat turned kittypet, but soon they get a vision about how the clans need to be reformed from their past ways on how they treated other cats :D They also go around with Snowlight (Their best friend) around these missions :D

DHD Trivia

In the first comic with Aditi’s deal, Alrick has shoulder armor. I left them out in the 2nd story as I was planning to have Alrick give his jacket for Vanessa to stay warm and comforted, but it never happened. Since then Alrick has been without any armor. 

Cat’s name was supposed to be just Cat, but Rena called her Catherine during the typing process.

I was supposed to draw only one comic with Alrick (the Aditi’s Deal), nothing more. But a new idea came to my mind, then a new one…

I want to keep Alrick’s and Lou-Lou friendship close and warm, as I believe in unconditional friendships between men and women. 

Saint Killy’s hospital in 3rd story is a homage to Killy from the manga Blame!

Cat’s and Hagon children Serafia, Amanda, Anders and Viktor are named after my great-great-great grandparents and great-great grandparents. 

The dress Cat is wearing in the 5th comic says GBH. Charged G.B.H is a British punk band, which started playing  in 1979 and still plays in 2022. Listen to G.B.H’s  album City Baby Attacked By Rats here.

While Dinky Sugar looks like the dancer from Caravan Palance’s “Lone Digger” music video, that was a pure coincidence. She was supposed to be just a passbying background character and nothing more.

Dinky Sugar’s name is a homage to Mossworm’s comic of a butterfly which says “Sippy. Drinky Sugar”. I ran into it while drawing Dinky’s story and it made me laugh so much. I love the comic and the butterfly!

Dinky means small in British English. 

Joon’s honorific broidi to Alrick means a brother in South-Finnish slang. I’m certain he calls Death-Head women as systeri (sister with the same slang)

The women and how I draw them in story 6 are inspired by the softness, sensuality and roundness a mangaka Rumiko Takahashi uses in her art when drawing sexy women.

Aditi is wearing a wig as pure lizard people don’t grow hair.

Aditi is not inspired by Egyptian art, though she does look like one.

Aditi’s is a Hindi name meaning boundles, limitless or innocence. I found out after the first comic that Aditi is one of the Hindu goddesses. Goddess Aditi rules many things, like sky, fertility, earth, past and the future.

Viv is a fan of the TV series Princess Blue. It’s a homage to an Australian cartoon series Bluey, which I love to death. It’s genuinely a fun, happy mood series (with awesome voice acting!), where parents get involved with their daughters Bluey’s and Bingo’s plays (the same way Joon tends to play with his niece Viv).  Here’s a little snippet of Bluey’s family’s car trips.

Kahamet is based on a man in a grey suit and a black goat’s head I met in a dream in 2019. He introduced himself as Kahamet. 

The Royal AOR Hotel in story 8 is a homage to my other character, A or R, from my comic FUZZY. 

Alrick tells Rena that she’s the best boss he’s ever had, which implies he has had earlier DH-bosses prior to Rena.

Lou-Lou is pronounced like Luu-Luu. Luu in Finnish means a bone, so she’s basically Bone-Bone. Our own Moon-Moon haha! This is not intentional. I realized it months after Lou-Lou first appeared.

In story 9, the ship in the harbor is named かわいい (kawaii). I was learning hiragana the time I drew the comic. 

The city behind the reporter in the beginning of story 10 is Helsinki. The early 18th century building behind her is one of my old working places. 

This wasn’t intentional but there is an open pool near these buildings in Helsinki.

Pearl’s frustration with the divination’s message is based on my own experience with working with divination tools since age 16. 

In my comic FUZZY, the protagonist Irene is a modern day seer and her surname is Pearl. DHD Pearl’s name is a small homage nod to Irene.

Pearl’s surname Helmi means a pearl in Finnish. So she’s Pearl Pearl.

DHD HQ manager Alyssee McRoth’s surname is a nod to my favorite comic, Sláine, as Sláine’s surname is MacRoth.

Algoth is named after a famous Finnish 1920′s smuggler Algoth Niska.

Dio is wearing the boots I had when I was a teenager.

Loid has the same piercings as I do on his left ear.

Loid first appeared in my short comic ARE, transferring from there to my other comic FUZZY, appearing as an antagonist in both stories. In FUZZY, he’s a magical being from Jotuni race, but in Death-Head’s Deal he’s a magician. Loid is a character who visits many projects of mine.

Loid’s name is an acronym from Idol, as I’m a big fan of Billy Idol.

Kaosa is also an acronym from Osaka, where I visit regularly.

Okupio, which Grimm suggests as a honeymoon trip target, is an acronym from Finnish city Kuopio, which is basically my home area.

Kizzie is based on an 1950′s American actress Mamie van Doren.

Despite Kizzie being a singer, she’s got social anxiety in group gatherings, especially if she needs to do sports. That’s my unfortunate(?) trait, too.

Kizzie’s brother Remy is based on a model Mighty Moustache. I designed his hair a bit after Mass Effect Andromeda character Reyes Vidal, who is my favorite Mass Effect character and romance option.

Remy’s small Aries sign tattoo is my astrological sign.

This is how season 2 of metakitties would have ended!!! Barry couldn't feel his fingers, staring at the wall. Nyoom mewed softly, one long note of warning before leaping. He caught her on instinct, burying his hands in her long fur and ignoring the small shocks from the lightning that bristled off her.  

The message Zoom had left, blackened on the wall, was stark. 

He had Wally. He'd watched them all long enough to know Barry's weakness, and he'd finally made his move. 

"Barry," Joe said, grabbing him by the arm. "Barry. Breathe. We'll figure something out."

"Joe, he's too fast," Barry said, finally ripping his eyes away. He flinched. How had he not heard Eddie, Iris, Cisco all coming up the stairs? "He's too fast. I can't..."

"Then it's a good thing we have a better plan than 'run in circles a lot,' Cisco said. 

Barry looked at him. "We do?"

"Well, not yet," Cisco admitted. "But we'll come up with something." 

"We'll get him back," Eddie promised as Iris approached, slipping her arm through Barry's. Nyoom grumbled as she resettled herself. "Lets go back to STAR. We'll come up with something."

"I can call Caitlin," Cisco said. Barry knew she and Ronnie would get back to STAR labs as fast as they could, but what if it wasn't fast enough?

Joe nodded. "Good idea. Who else has one?"

"I....think I do," Iris said, looking at the rumpled sheets on Wally's bed where Moose was anxiously kneading one of his sweaters. "but we need Caitlin and Scrap. And we're going to need Eevee." 

That was enough to startle Barry fully. Eevee wasn't one of the STAR Labs cats. "Do you think Kenna will risk her like that?"

"Wally's counting on us," Iris said. "I'll convince them."

Wally stared across the interior of Star Labs, trying to blink his eyes back into focus. The flash stood two steps in front of his dad and sister, with Eddie and Caitlin and Cisco flanking them.  The Flash's mask was off. Something in Wally shouted that he should have guessed it was Barry, but fear still curled too tight around him, like Zoom's hand on the back of his neck. He was going to die. He'd thought, earlier, he was going to die in that cell, a chain looped around his wrist. 

"The Flash's speed," Zoom said again, satisfied with who was in the room and who was not. He'd ordered Caitlin to shut her cat, Scrap, out of the room, checked the others. They'd done so without hesitation. "Or I break him the way I broke you, Barry. This one doesn't have a healing factor like you. How long before he--"

"Enough," Barry interrupted, light eyes flecked with gold. "Fine. You can have my speed. Just don't hurt him."

Wally opened his mouth to protest. Didn't the Flash---didn't Barry know that the minute this guy had what he wanted, they were all dead anyways? He caught the look on Iris's face, saw the cat she was absently petting. Not Goldie. Moose. The black tabby that had chosen, for some reason, him. Moose's amber eyes were fixed on him, pupils wide, in the way that always made him look so silly. 

Barry clambered onto the treadmill, as Cisco adjusted the wires to Zoom's specifications. AS he started to run, Zoom leaned forward. Wally despaired. The window to escape was narrowing every second. Moose inched forwards, despite the lightning, one white paw at a time. Zoom paid him no heed, but Wally was suddenly grateful for the warm weight leaning against his ankles, the vibration of the purr pushing into him. 

The number on the treadmill display rose higher. Barry ran slower. 

A cat yowled.

It was like everything happened in slow motion. Cisco scooped up a fluffy brown cat Wally had  never seen before and launched her at Zoom. The cat sunk her claws into the fabric of Zoom's suit before pushing off, leaving blue lightning in her wake. Zoom's grip on Wally released as Moose's purr grew louder and louder, a sheen of golden energy circling boy and cat and pushing the monster back.

And from a ceiling tile dropped Scrap, falling only a few inches before she rippled and grew, the size of a bear, bigger, directly onto Zoom's head.  Wally ducked, Moose's shield coming with him, holding up the weight of the bear-cat until she shrank, leaving a gory mess of suit and blood and exposed bone, all that remained of Zoom.  the Tiny kitten licked one paw, and scampered away, leaving a trail of red pawprints. 

"Told you it would work," Iris said. "Wally, are you ok?"

"No?" he said. " I... the cats. The.. What?"

"It's a lot, " Eddie agreed, reaching out a hand and Moose, still purring, let the force field drop. With a shaking hand, Wally pet his cat until his dad dropped beside him in a hug.  

"Hey, uh, Question," said Cisco, looking slightly green at the sight of Zoom's pancaked corpse. " what happens to his speed, now? Eevee can't exactly give it back, so..."

"Kenna's going to kill us," Barry said, levering himself off the treadmill, waving a hand to check that his own speed was still there.

"Not in here," Cisco said as Fuzzwhump bared her tiny teeth at Barry, who apologized.

"I..I'm sorry," Wally said again, a little more loudly. "What?"

"Uh, long story short, superpowered cats, no, we don't know why or how, you're welcome for them saving you," Caitlin said, cuddling Scrap.  

Wind roared down the hallway, blue and gold lightning dancing as Nyoom and Eevee raced each other back into the main room. Eevee paused in front of Wally, looking at the mess behind him.

"Wait, no--" Joe started, but it was too late. Eevee, whiskers twitching, carefully bapped Wally's cheek, and blue lightning flared. 

When he blinked open his eyes, Moose was standing on his chest, rumbling a purr like thunder. 

"Good news and, uh, interesting-not-exactly-bad news," Caitlin said.  "Good news, you're fine." "Interesting news," Cisco said, "You're going to need a code name."
