mouse died. tragic. wiggled the wire—rgb flickered like a dying firefly, windows kept playing the "device removed" jingle like a funeral bell. tested on another pc. still dead. opened it up, hoping for a loose wire. nope. cable issue.

a normal person would sigh, accept fate, and order a new one. some would toss it in a drawer, whispering “i’ll fix it later” (they will not).

me? i downloaded a compass app to scan for electromagnetic fields. why? because science. turns out, the app was a scam (gps-based, not actual magnetometer). so i did what any sane person wouldn’t—I booted up MIT App Inventor and made my own magnetic field scanner. hovered it over the wire. found a weak spot. started surgical wire dissection.

halfway through, the wires inside were braided together like a blood pact. realized i was wasting my life. threw the mouse in a drawer. ordered a new one.

efficiency is a social construct.

Today: Our dream plant store in progress  🌿

Not gonna lie, the glow up got real…

💧 Surprise boiler leak = flooded floor and a boiler losing pressure


📦 Deliveries? “Sometime between Tuesday and 2030”


🌱 Plant stock delivered a day late (cheers, broken down van)

🪛 Flat pack shelving that broke itself and us


🔧 Ceiling lights with wires longer than our patience


🪜 A not so graceful stair trip (caught on CCTV)


🛠️ Marble shelves down, then back up because you know… decisions


🩹 Cuts, bruises, scrapes, head bangs and splinters… but surprisingly minimal meltdowns!

Three sanders later, we’ve got shelves and serious green dreams.

We’re not done yet, but we’re already obsessed.

We were called out to this property to inspect cement around base of toilet which was always wet. Upon removal of toilet suite we found that no connection fitting between earthenware floor penetration pipe & toilet pan. We were informed that an unlicensed/unskilled individual had carried out installation of this toilet. Is it really worth it people? The job can end up costing you a lot more if not done correctly. Don’t risk it.
