All countries in this post are just stereotypical copies. I don't strive for realism. Only clichés and stereotypes.

Brief description of the idea:

An evil corporation kidnaps a scientist to recruit him into a willing slave. However, during the brainwashing, something goes wrong and the secretary hesitates. The kidnapped scientist is happy he was kidnapped and confess that he actually always dreamed of being hired to work for this evil corporation. The secretary takes a liking to the scientist and manages to convince the Leaders that the scientist is obedient enough and doesn't need to be brainwashed. The Leaders allows it and this becomes the beginning of the return of memory to the secretary...

The main character is the scientist, but the main action takes place with the secretary, who falls in love with the scientist and gradually regains his memory of his past life. This, of course, makes the leaders of the corporation angry and they are trying to prevent the main characters from being together. The senior Leader threatens the secretary, and the junior Leader bullies the scientist.

About Sea Serpents:

Sea Serpents are an evil corporation founded in Japan by two Ikuchi(long sticky fish snakes) demons. Nagai Sakana controls the most cruel and largest part of the company, and Aoi Sakana controls the part that has direct control over Japan.

The influence of the evil corporation extends to the whole world. Agents work in a wide variety of fields, including government agencies in many countries. 20 years ago, during the crisis in the USSR, Sea Serpents provided support and began close cooperation with the authorities of the USSR and their military forces. The slogan has spread in the country that Sea Serpents are friends and can be trusted. Most people believed that.

The USSR is not the only country to which the Sea Serpents provided support in order to introduce their agents into the government. But we are interested in the USSR, because Andrey is from there. Besides, the USSR is big. And the Cold War...

Main protagonists:

Andrey - Code: F-1678

29 year old, short, chubby man. Came to Japan from the USSR at the age of 22. Scientist in the field of robotic technology.

Andrey's family believed the propaganda. His father got a great job! The family's well-being has improved, but when Andrey was 4 years old, his father mysteriously died. The mother and the rest of the family started express strong doubts about the Sea Serpents, but this doesn't convince Andrey. Deceived by propaganda, he moved to Japan when he turned 22, to increase his chances of getting hired.

Hengry - Code: L-808

32 years old, tall, strong man. Doesn't remember his past life and real name. Works as Nagai Sakana's secretary.

Henry is not the real name of L-808. When Andrey asked what the real name of the secretary is, L-808 suggested that the scientist come up with one that he would like. And Andrey liked the name Henry.

He was incredibly surprised that Andrey dreamed of working for Sea Serpents all his life, because most people cries and resist, showing strong unwillingness to become slave.

Main antagonists:

Aoi Sakana — Ikuchi

BITCH— I mean, sassy, narcissistic abuser who sees humans only as his toys and test subjects. He is bulling Andrey for being chubby. (the real antagonist 😡 Andrey is pretty man 💞)

He flirts with Henry, but L-808 doesn't reciprocate... some sexual violence occurs 😭

Nagai Sakana — Ikuchi

A cruel, merciless fish-snake yokai(demon). The eldest of two brothers (hi, Aoi Sakana). Represents the role of the Leader in Sea Serpents, but allows Aoi Sakana too much to do, causing the lines between Kumichō (The founder) and Sosāi (The second head after the founder) to blur. Aoi Sakana has more influence on the Japan, but not global world.

HYDRA - Marvel. But I've never read a single comic book, I've never watched any movie, and I only found out about this company thanks to an AI bot. I read the information about it on funwiki, and I liked it so much that I created something separate, simplified, but still similar.

Südengland 2023 - Tag 3

Ladies and Gentlemen!  Mesdames et Messieurs!

Über den heutigen Urlaubstag hatten wir uns im Vorfeld wohl am meisten den Kopf zerbrochen. Wie kommen wir rüber nach England (Dover)?

Und ob man von der französischen Küste von Calais oder Dünkirchen aus nach Südengland übersetzen sollte? 

Eine Fahrt durch den Eurotunnel kommt wegen meiner latenten Platzangst nicht in Frage und außerdem hat man bei einer Fährüberfahrt gegenüber dem Eurotunnel den Vorteil der tollen Aussicht auf die White Cliffs of Dover, wie sie Vera Lynn so schön einst besang.

Der Weg über den Ärmelkanal ist ab Calais kürzer, die Überfahrt dauert 90 Minuten. Ab Dünkirchen muss man für die Fahrt nach England mit etwa 2 Stunden rechnen. Trotzdem hat für uns Dünkirchen gleich mehrere Vorteile:

1. Der Weg ab Deutschland ist etwas kürzer, denn man wählt vermutlich eher den Weg über die Niederlande und Belgien um die Mautgebühren in Frankreich zu umgehen.

2. Es ist viel entspannter! Der Hauptverkehr drängt nach Calais, denn vor dort aus gibt es mehr Verbindungen. Dafür ist aber auch jede Menge los. Es kann zu Staus kommen. In Dünkirchen geht es deutlich gemächlicher zu – und das Fährterminal wurde umgebaut, so dass die Abwicklung noch weiter optimiert und damit schneller wurde.

Nach gewissenhafter Recherche fiel die Entscheidung somit für die Fährüberfahrt, von Dünkirchen nach Dover. 

Nach den beiden Zwischenübernachtung in Gravelines nahmen wir die 12 Uhr-Fähre ab Dunkerque, wie Dünkirchen in Frankreich heißt. Um den Fährhafen zu erreichen, müssen wir über die D 601, die zu einem großen Kreisverkehr führt, von wo aus man über die Route de la Maison Blanche direkt zum DFDS-Terminal geleitet wird. 

Plötzlich liegt statt der salzigen Seeluft der Geruch von Öl und Benzin in der Luft, das im Hafen von Dünkirchen im großen Stil verarbeitet wird.

Alles ist sehr gut ausgeschildert. Am Terminal findet die Passkontrolle und gegebenenfalls die Gepäckkontrolle statt.  

Am Terminal wird den Passagieren auch mitgeteilt, auf welcher Spur sie sich einordnen müssen (ich meine, es waren über 50 Spuren, wir hatten die Nummer 32).

Dort sollte unsere Fähre gegen 12 Uhr losfahren und wir sollten Dover dank Zeitumstellung bereits gegen 13 Uhr erreichen. Der Weg auf die Fähre war dabei die erste Prüfung für uns. Fahrkartenkontrolle, Passkontrolle und sogar der Kofferraum wurde kontrolliert. 

Anschließend kam es dann allerdings zur ersten wirklichen Prüfung für uns. Wir hassen ja schon Parkhäuser, aber der Weg auf die Fähre führte über eine schmale, leicht geschwungenen Rampe. 

Was waren wir heilfroh als Micha diese gemeistert hatte. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung, mussten wir unser Auto verlassen und machten es uns in einem Aufenthaltsraum auf dem Schiff bequem.

Für 16 Euro zusätzlich (pro Person und Strecke) hat man Zutritt zu der Premium Lounge, in die man durch einen einzutippenden Zahlencode gelangt. 

Wenn man keine Lust hat, die zwei Stunden, die die Überfahrt dauert, in den öffentlichen  Aufenthaltsbereichen der Fähre zu verbringen, hat man hier in der Lounge seine Ruhe. 

An den Panoramafenstern stehen Sessel, Stühle und Tische; am Büffett kann man sich an alkoholfreien Getränken bedienen und bekommt zur Begrüßung ein Glas sparkling Wine gereicht. 

Wer etwas essen möchte, kann sich unter den ausliegenden Snacks bedienen, so viel und lange das Herz begehrt. Das Personal bringt laufend Nachschub.

Natürlich gibt es auch eine separate Toilette für die Gäste der Premium Lounge. Ich finde diese Einrichtung normalerweise sehr gut, allerdings war das Schiff heute nur sehr gering gebucht und von daher wäre dieser kostenpflichtige Zusatzservice gar nicht nötig gewesen.

In Dover schließlich angekommen, werden die Autodecks geöffnet und die Fähre macht sich bereit, direkt neben ihrem Schwesterschiff anzulegen. 

Die Autofahrer können gleich ihr Schild mit dem Aufdruck „DSDF 1200” hinter der Windschutzscheibe entfernen.

Kaum auf der Insel angekommen, geben wir uns gleich wieder dem Trunk hin. In der Nähe der Ortschaft Sandwich besuchen wir den Barnsole Vineyard.

Aufmerksam wurden wir darauf über einen Fernsehbericht über die aufblühende Schaumweinproduktion Englands.

Wer jetzt bei Sandwich an ein zusammengeklapptes und belegtes Brot denkt, liegt vollkommen richtig damit. John Montagu der 4. Earl of Sandwich, ein leidenschaftlicher Cribbage-Spieler, „erfand“ 1762 diesen Imbiss, der es ihm ermöglichte, gleichzeitig Karten zu spielen und zu essen. 

Während dieser Freizeitbeschäftigung ernährte er sich häufig fast vierundzwanzig Stunden am Tag von dieser Speise, bei der ursprünglich nur Rindfleisch zwischen zwei geröstete Weißbrotscheiben gelegt wurde. Diese einfache Art kam ihm entgegen, denn er litt oft an Geldmangel und führte auch sonst ein anspruchsloses Leben. Dieses neuartige Gericht kam damals in London sehr in Mode.

Das Weingut bei Barnsole erstreckt sich insgesamt auf 7,48 Acres, wobei etwa 7 Acres mit Reben bepflanzt sind. Der Weinberg selbst ist einer der ältesten Weinberge in Kent und wurde in den frühen 1990er Jahren mit verschiedenen Sorten, darunter Reichensteiner & Huxelrebe, bepflanzt. 

Seit den ursprünglichen Anpflanzungen wurden Chardonnay, Pinot Noir und Bacchus-Sorten hinzugefügt, alle auf einem doppelten Guyot-Pflanzungssystem. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen Versuchsblock von Wrotham Pinot, Englands einzigem einheimischen Wein, der für die erste Veröffentlichung, die im Jahr 2024 erwartet wird, gepflanzt wurde.

Das Anwesen umfasst eine kürzlich modernisierte Weinkellerei, die es ermöglichen soll, die Produktion von derzeit 20.000 Flaschen pro Jahr auf 80.000 zu steigern. Jährlich kommen rund 5.000 Besucher zu Verkostungen und Führungen in das Estate.

Derzeit wird alles vor Ort angebaut, gepflückt, gepresst und abgefüllt und man bietet eine Reihe von Schaum-, Weiß- und Rotweinen an. Das preisgekrönte Weingut wird seit über 10 Jahren von Phillipp und Sally Watts geführt.

Sally begrüßt uns persönlich, während Philipp mit einer weiteren Gruppe schon im Gespräch und beschäftigt ist.

Auf unsere Anfrage, ob ein kleines Tasting auch ohne Voranmeldung möglich sei, wurde sehr freundlich und spontan reagiert. Sally führte uns sehr nett und kompetent durch ihre Produkte. 

Wir erfuhren, dass hier alles in Eigenregie und Handarbeit vonstatten geht. Kein Big Player zieht im Hintergrund die Fäden. Ein weiterer ganz Pluspunkt: unser Tasting kostet nicht einen Cent ... ähem ... ich meinte natürlich: Penny!

Man merkt ganz deutlich: hier geht es wirklich um das Produkt und nicht um den Kommerz. Wir sind so angetan, dass wir eine Kiste mit 6 Flaschen Still Wine & Sparkling Wine mitnehmen. Das soll für die nächsten Tage erst einmal reichen, denn es stehen noch 2 bis 3 weitere Vineyards auf unserer Liste.

Wir verabschieden uns von Sally und machen uns, über typisch englische Landstraßen, wieder auf den Weg in Richtung Canterbury.

Die bekannteste Stadt in der Grafschaft Kent, ist die mehr als 63.000 Einwohner zählende Universitätsstadt Canterbury. Die Stadt wurde etwa 900 vor Christus gegründet. Nachdem die Römer Britannien besetzt hatten, bauten sie Canterbury zu ihrem Verwaltungszentrum aus. Der Beginn wird auf 43 n. Chr. datiert.

Hier werden wir für die nächsten Tage unser Quartier aufschlagen, lediglich 600 Meter entfernt von der berühmten Kathedrale.

Es war gar nicht so einfach eine Unterkunft (Appartement/Ferienwohnung) zu finden, die noch im inneren Stadtkern gelegen ist und noch dazu über einen Parkplatz verfügt.

I was taught by my mom how to wrap but until recently, while she hasn't taught me in a long time, I finally got it so perfect I'm going insane!

When sizing it you make it just twice as long and wide as the object you're wrapping and be careful heh, idk how else to assist

i had to last-minute wrap a gift my aunt and i made for my grandma and i had to do it with 5 dogs which had miraculously ended up exactly where i was wrapping 😔 everyone came upstairs to watch me too like ??? i just want to wrap in peace </3 dsdfs

what i've been doing is have three ends of the wrapping paper go up the side of the gift, then just double that length for the last bit. works pretty well !! i definitely overuse tape though—
