Primarch hypocrite poll
My friends asked me who the good guys of 40k are

Age of which the Primarchs Died/Warp Fucked/Demon Prince'd
Horus: 222 years (died by the Emperor)
Leman Russ: 419 years (Fucked off into Warp knows where)
[REDACTED]
Ferrus Manus: 213 years (killed by Fulgrim)
Fulgrim: 11,207 years old (Slaanesh Daemon prince)
Vulkan: 11,207 years old (Or so, Perpetual, probs still alive)
Rogal Dorn: Either 1,197 (dead) or 11,207 (Alive)
Roboute Guilliman: 329 years old (died) Still around the same age or so considering he was revived.
Magnus the Red: 11,207 years old (Tzeentch Daemon Prince)
Sanguinius: 222 years old (Killed by Horus)
Lion El'Johnson: 11,207 years old (only one who didn't die, just kinda went into dormancy)
Perturabo: 11,207 years old (Human??? Or at least not mutated)
Mortarion: 11,207 years old (Nurgle Daemon Prince)
Lorgar: 11,207 years old (Chaos undivided)
Jaghatia Khan: 292 or 11,207, (Hunting Drukhari in the webway)
Konrad Curze: 223 years old (Assassinated)
Angron: 11,207 years old (Khorne Daemon Prince)
Corvus Corax: 11,207 years old (Hunting Logar and warp fucked)
[REDACTED]
Alpharius/Omegon: 11,207 years old (Chaos Undivided, or just traitor)
So some died pretty young by Astartes standards, pretty sure Vulkan's death is inaccurate and grossly exaggerated, and the rest makes sense. Unless you want to get into the weirdness that is the implications of the Black rage literally being the impure half of Sanguinius soul quite literally possessing his sons, and the Sanguinor being the pure parts. In Which case, technically dead; technically fucking up shit despite being dead.
Also here's where you can find the ages Where they were found

Ideally open to who this tickles your fancy on! But!
There are ways to purposely woo someone- apparel, posing, pictures, texts, etc. What about something you do without realizing that drives them wild? Could be mundane, could be situational, could be a meal, could be a gesture! Anything goes!
“Oh? How sweet. I shall make a lil head cannon for all of them. I kept going in and out of this one.😭” - Ichor
Summary - “What drives the Emperor & Primarchs wild about you? More so what they like about you.”
TW // Not of Lore Cuteness?

Tumblr media
The Emperor; “Revelation:”
Tricky man god this one is, for he has lived and see anything and everything. His emotions going cold and unreadable with time, and so does his preferences. However, I do think he would find the humaneness of you… “adoring.” Perhaps your refusal of him too. It just.. reminds him.
Lion El’Johnson; “The First:”
He likes the mere way you move. Something about it… excites him. Either with grace or not he still feels like it’s *cough* *cough* “admirable.” Well, not the times where you trip over thin air, but he somehow finds that… “cute,” he dares to think. Will he tell you? No, will you know? Yes, because the bastard comments about how frail you are when you trip. (P.S. Don’t ever call him a bastard.)
Fulgrim; “The Phoenician:”
This Demi-god will love anything about what you do or what you look like. Ain’t nothing stopping him from spewing any positive, teasing words. You, the whole being of you, is his wild card. Just seeing you excites him; and either it would be romantic or the Daemon Prince of him. You are his heart. You work him to his admiration.
Perturabo; “Lord of Iron:”
Messing with his tools. Something about you being curious of what he crafts with pleases him. His eyes watching as you observe them and then questioning him about them. That you take an interest in his work, or well, what makes his work. It feels nice.
Jaghatai Khan; “The Warhawk:”
Riding with him on his bike. He honestly likes when you suggest to ride with him, even if it’s short or not. He likes the little feeling of warmth of your body against him, letting the wind speak between the two of you. It as if he isn’t truly alone…
Leman Russ; “The Wolf King:”
Hunting with him and his sons! It’s very thrilling and exciting for him! Well, not much for you, but still! He enjoys to have your presence around him, if you’re watching him or not, but if you do hunt with him. He likes your skill on putting down a kill. It also gives this wolf man an excuse to show off. ;)
Rogal Dorn; “Praetorian of Terra:”
When you overlook the building plans. He feels very pleased when you look them over and reject them or accept them. Never judging you when you rejected them for it means something can be better within the blueprints. He never thinks that you wouldn’t necessarily dislike them for he is a good man of taste.☕️
Konrad Cruze; “Dark King:”
Just being in his presence while he just… stares you down. Trying to think of why you look at him like that, like he means something to you, and not in the bad way either. I drives his mind to figure you out more… He concludes that he finds you… memorizing when your heart beats a bit faster than necessary.
Sanguinius; “The Angel:”
The way you seem to trust him and his legion despite the horrors it brings. He has a keen eye for what people like and dislike, and his legion is… part of it. He knows baselines; enemies do not like “vampires,” but you honestly don’t seem to mind and that makes his heart’s flutter. You do not judge them for their beauty or the blood straining their fangs and hands.
Ferrus Manus; “The Gorgon:”
Trying to help him with his crafts. He likes it when you join in and inquire about what he is doing. His firm a bit more at ease when you’re around to question or help him. His… hands engulfing yours with ease and he can’t help but be amused and… grateful with you. You’re learning his crafts, but not demanding; wanting to be an emotionless, metal sentinel.
Angron; “The Red Angel:”
Your ability to be in his presence despite his anger literally clawing at his mind. It… almost surprises him. He expects you to run; turn away from his pained fury, but you don’t. You… endure it like a slave would to a whip… He doesn’t deserve you…
Roboute Guilliman; “The Avenging Son:”
Reading him something. He would pause in his work to listen or perhaps call you over to him as some background noise while he does his work. He finds himself soothed, and well… less alone. His shoulders a bit lighter than before. He is… also grateful of you.
Mortarion; “Death Lord:”
Gardens. Take this Death Lord through the gardens and just… shoot out some random facts. Bring some petals up close to him, let him smell the very different air quality and beauty of the worlds. The man would be just happy that you’re including him into something that could be easily be destroyed by chemicals…
Magnus The Red; “Crimson King:”
Honestly, anything you do with a book. You have a book in your hand? Your tongue sticking out in focus, or how you try and figure out the position of some… things. It warms his heart and makes him amused. He also likes it’s when you inquire about his own knowledge and try to learn from his as well.
Horus Lupercal; “The Lupercal:”
The way you speak. He loves it. He loves you. Honestly, you could do anything and this man would still look at you like love at first sight. This man is a hopeless romantic for you. Well, there are some bounds, but still! You get his heart fluttering when you’re by his side.
Lorgar Aurelian; “The Urizen:”
Take an interest in anything he does. Compliment him, give him praise and he shall melt under your fingertips. He just wants true, loving attention and you? Well, you’re giving him it willing and shall praise you in return. It’s almost like two oblivious lovers, but neither gets a room lol.
Vulkan; “Lord of Drakes:”
When you try to gift him back. This maybe a gifting war, but he still loves it nevertheless. He gifts you, and you gift back. He’s amused by your audacity to do such, but he also just… loves it. Cuteness aggression style. So, the mini lover forge wars has started.
Corvus Corax; “The Raven Lord:”
Playing with his crows. He finds a strange… feeling when he watches you. How you coo at them and talk to them as if they are capable of giving you a full sentence. How you pet the gently and give them little not-so-sneaky snacks when he’s not looking…
Alpharius & Omegon; “The Last Primarch:”
Mystery’s and solve. These guys like being detectives or blackmailing. They like knowing things and then gatekeeping it, and this includes you too. They like when you get curious though and come to them for the answers they could provide. Not without something of course.

The people must know about Primarch dentition.
I like to imagine that
Dorn and Perty have straight teeth. They both, without realizing the other was doing it, filed their teeth down and reshaped them by grinding into perfectly flat squares. Later Perty replaced or coated his with metal.
Guilliman’s teeth: unbelievably straight. You know the scene in Rick and Morty where he makes a truly level surface? That’s how straight his teeth are. He’s a creature of genetic perfection who voluntarily got braces. Largely just because he likes to invest in dental hygiene and wanted to show how much he believed in it.
Mortarions teeth: not rotted, until daemon princehood at least. Actually even as he fell to chaos I like to think his teeth were just flat, slate grey before rotting all at once on ascension.
Corvus: bright white teeth but extremely dark gums and tongue. Looks unhealthy from a distance.
Lorgar: charming. Everything about his mouth from the expression to the shape to how much tooth is showing and how white it is, all designed to get you to trust him. Like a used car salesman or a priest who is so incredibly good at his job that even knowing, you can’t help being a little convinced.
Konrad: shark teeth. Uneven but sharp triangles. Probably serrated like those of a Great White. Not cared for, old meat (is that a wedding ring?), smells vile, but the expressions all have potential for nobility.
Russ: slightly yellow, with big canines. Not just long, big. Bigger than that. Not cartoonish, but big enough that it subtly changes the shape of his lips when his mouth is closed. The teeth next to the canines are also sharp.
Sanguinius: very white, very red gums and tongue. Like pearls on red velvet. Lower canines are very slightly longer and sharper than normal, uppers are long and slender: knives compared to Russ’s railroad spikes. They don’t change shape or length but something about his expression when enraged or bloodthirsty suddenly draws attention to them.
Fulgrim: originally flawless. If Lorgar’s smile is a con of trustworthiness, Fulgrim’s simply looks like and does exactly what he wants it to do. It’s dazzling, flexible, frequently and effectively used for many purposes. After ascension it’s the same but even more: every expression is SO perfect that it’s slightly unsettling, even as the beauty enraptures you. However the tongue is long and forked, the jaw can stretch like it’s unhinged, the canines are sharp and thin, and hidden long fangs flick down from the roof of the mouth like those of a viper. Of course he’s a daemon so the amount and shape of teeth may vary with mood
Thank you for letting the people know about primarch dentition, and for the thought you’ve put into primarch dentition.
Fulgrim’s teeth definitely do vary with mood. In fact, if you manage to properly startle him, his teeth all retract and his scales ruffle up at the same time. It’s not really… nice to look at, exactly, but it is quite funny.

Idk why but I feel that when Lorgar's daughter grow up erebus would be a creep towards her, like grima from the lord of the rings
Is this a good idea? Oh, no, it's absolutely great. Love Erebus (and hate). Not really a drabble. That will come later with the same idea (anon, you are amazin). Come on guys (@kit-williams, @moodymisty, @lemon-russ, @bispecsual, @solspina) and don't think that I won't write Erebus anymore. It's only beggining
-
-
-
Your birth was a mistake that could not be undone. Was it the Emperor's mercy or his foolish pride that prevented him from killing you in the cradle? No one knew for sure, but Erebus, like many others, did not care why. The main thing was that the Dark Gods' plan had succeeded.
Your mother-whore had at least been good for something, producing a precious daughter. The reason why Lorgar immediately fell into heresy, wanting to protect his child. The reason why Horus, wanting but unable to have a legacy, would willingly turn to the Dark Gods himself. And therefore, there would be no need to trick him into coming to Davin.
You would be the reason Fulgrim became vulnerable and could not tolerate Ferrus's contempt for you. Not a daemon, but the Primarch himself would gladly cut off the head of his once beloved brother. And Perturabo, seeing in you the image of his dead sister, will become obsessed enough not to abandon Horus at the decisive moment. And this is only a crumb of the future that promised to happen thanks to the daughter of Lorgar. The only one of your kind.
Simply put, you were a victory. A triumph for the Dark Gods. Which would never have happened if not for Erebus. It was he who drew Lorgar's attention to one of the many worlds where he met your whore-mother. If not for Erebus, you would never have been born.
Your existence was a gift of fate. He whispered these words to you while you slept in the cradle, not understanding the speech of adults. He, like many Space Marines, were enchanted by you. After all, you were half-Primarch. Although much weaker than your father and "half-brothers". But you radiated the same divine light.
Although later Erebus was to note your beauty. Blooming like a flower with each passing year. And the gentle words that millions listened to with furious fervor. You were a beacon that would lead billions of worlds to Chaos. Lorgar's creation… but only because of Erebus.
As a child, he dreamed of vast palaces, a host of servants and concubines. All of this became sand to him over time. Foolish dreams of a youth who liked to torture ants. For him, the palace was the entire Immaterium. His servants were Word Bearers and mortals. Concubines? One would be enough for him. Perfect and unique.
His reward, which he rightfully earned.

Okay, hear me out. Lorgar is horrified and grief-stricken by the loss of his daughter. The Emperor is delighted because for the first time in so many years he remembered love.
But how will the other primarchs react to the theft and the fact that they CAN still have children?
Horus will probably stare at the baby like a maniac. He also wants a child, but the Emperor forbade it. Another reason for Heresy. He is as obsessed with her as the Emperor, if not worse. Especially when the Heresy began.
Vulkan and Sanguinius. The best uncles in the world. But it is better not to approach the second one during menstruation.
Fulgrim: The only Primarch who knows how to treat women. Allows the little one to dye him and do his hair “like a princess.” Alas, it’s better not to approach the daemon prince…
Corvus Corax. Depressive uncle. Loves and adores Lorgar's daughter. But he cries constantly because she is too a product of the Warp.
Lion, Mortarion, Angron, Perturabo, Ferrus: they look in horror. They have no idea what to do with children especially from primarchs.
Leman Russ, Jaghatai Khan and Magnus: it is forbidden to communicate with them as they are risk-takers.
Guilliman, Dorn: Difficult. They seem to like her, but they seem to be afraid of the very fact of her existence.
Alpharius and Omegon: playing a game of “guess who is who” with a girl. Of course, they play this game with everyone, but it’s more fun with a child who feels the trick and can’t speak. Well, with the Heresy, such games with manipulation will be even more terrible.
Horus and his uncontrollable breeding kink desire to have biological children just goes into overdrive upon realizing they may actually not be sterile.
also i love all of these interactions and think they are amazing. Also love that you didn't include Konrad because yeah lmao

Hello fuck you Warhammer AU lore on your dash
The Siege of Terra was The Lion’s planned final offensive against the loyalist forces that guarded the Imperium of Man. The Lion, fighting a war of attrition, began to feel the Ruinous Powers controlling him more and more with every passing second. Knowing his time was drawing near, he tasked Roboute Guilliman with planning an offensive that would cripple the Imperium, once and for all. Guilliman devised a plan that would use warp tunnels that connected to Terra via seemingly unimportant systems, tunnels that had been discovered by the Space Wolves as they fled the burning wreck of Prospero. The Salamanders, now reduced to savage torturers that hardly resembled their once noble selves, sent envoys to these worlds that massacred any living presence that remained. Their work was dismissed by the Imperial presence at large as the work of Slaaneshi depravity, and the staging ground for the Siege of Terra was set. The Iron Hands, fighting in the Martian Civil War, began to lay preparations to conquer the homeworld of the Mechanicum once and for all using daemonic weaponry. Corvus Corax was given the difficult task of disciplining the newly-Daemonic Leman Russ using sorcery that he had learned in his endless conflicts with The Changer of Ways. He learned to control Leman as Tzeentch controlled him, using the Wolf-Lord as the same puppet he was to the divine. The Heretic Legions were ready to wage war on Terra, and kill the Emperor where he stood.
However, Konrad Curze had foreseen such an incursion with his prophetic vision, and had rallied all the forces of the Imperium at his disposal to the defense of these warp tunnels. Loyalist Imperial Fists had been conducting War Games with the Iron Warriors in the Imperial Palace in order to ensure any assault made on the palace would be repulsed, any advance made by the traitor legions halted. The Night Haunter had set his sons the task of disciplining the criminal underbelly of Terra into a fighting force to stall an attack, and had amassed an army of scum and gangers to defend Holy Terra. Fulgrim, after fighting newly awakened Necrons in deep space, was returning to Terra as fast as he could manage with his broken legion. The Luna Wolves, still ashamed of their weakness, had positioned themselves right outside the warp tunnel that led to Terra as penance for their failures. Horus had reluctantly accepted the aid of 2,000 Custodians and Sisters of Silence in this endeavor, though he thought himself unworthy of their help.
Such was the state of the Leonine Heresy, before the Siege of Terra began.
How the battle began is not recorded, but much is known of its ending. A month of war and conflict had raged on the planet, and little had come of it. The Dark Angels, aided by their Primarch and the Heretical Imperial Fists led by Sigismund, had laid siege to the Imperial Palace on all sides. The Blood Angels, so dearly deluded by their own minds, had thrown themselves in droves at the walls of the palace to no avail. The Custodians, steadfast in their conviction, had held the endless tides of Daemons summoned by the Psykers of the traitor legions for an apparent eternity. Alpharius, one head of the Alpha Legion, had been slain in apparent cold blood by Mortarion. Despite this, Omegon still remained to wreak havoc behind the lines of the Loyalist regime. Magnus, leading his legion of sorcerers, had begun battle with the Space Wolves, and was approaching victory. It was his one complaint that Leman Russ was not there so that Magnus may slay the Daemon Prince for good. To most, Leman Russ vanished, nowhere to be found. However, the Traitor Primarchs knew the truth, as Leman Russ was puppeted by Corvus Corax into doing battle with Konrad Curze. Though the Night Haunter fought valiantly, he was no match for the combined might of a Daemon Primarch such as Leman, and the sorcery of one such as Corvus Corax.
Meanwhile, Roboute Guilliman used his Legion to fight the Solar Auxilia stationed on Terra, understanding the threat they posed if allowed to continue. However, Horus sought redemption for his failure to save his homeworld from the Heretics, and so he met Guilliman on the field of battle. Aided by the Solar Auxilia, Horus and the Luna Wolves slew the Ultramarines to but 1,000 men and took Guilliman prisoner, intending to detain the XIIIth against his better judgment.

When/if the rest of the Primarchs return, I want them to be old and crusty like the Lion, not fresh like Guilliman.
Leman Russ? Looks like Wolf-Santa. Big long wolf-beard, bald on top, a bit tubby, armour red with the blood of his enemies.
Jaghati Kahn? Bent over old crotchety asian man, with a fine long beard. Has a stick. Still faster than you. Has a giant horse. It has a beard.
Corvus Corax? He's a warp entity now, but he still has a big black beard. It contains secrets. And ravens.
Sanguinius? Let me dream Dosn't have a beard, but his hair is white to match his wings.
Ferrus Manus?... let me get back to you on that.
Rogal Dorn? Sideburns. Massive white sideburns. Also looks a bit like Santa.
Vulkan? To be honest Vulkan can stay fresh. Not sure what old lava skin would look like anyway.
Just a bunch of old men fighting their daemon brothers and bitching.

on the topic of impossible demands, I just remembered my extremely AU version of the Heresy
where things were completely different from what the records said
the primarchs weren't the Emperor's sons, they were a variety of different things
I may have posted this before but I'm reposting because I'm very attached especially to alt-Corvus also I need to figure out Vulkan and Lorgar
i think it'd actually be interested if you increased the level of moral ambiguity on both sides of the heresy by making both of them less evil and having the whole setup be a more historically typical kind of civil war like as I've mentioned before I'm a byzantinophile lol and if there's anything they're known for it's stupid civil wars
I'm debating what Chaos is up to -uninvolved at all until the end -playing both sides -gets pulled in later in the war due to desperation
since we're going full AU here let's add some more stuff from bluejay's horus heresy wishlist -the primarchs are not in fact the finely crafted sons of the Emperor, they're just dudes. and not 12 feet tall. that was stupid -also some of them don't actually exist and were made up by history, not sure who. possibly multiple people were combined to create a single "primarch" in memory i mean not literally
i am thinking one of them (Horus) does have a pseudo-familial relationship with the emperor though I'm workshopping how it could happen some kind of page program at the imperial palace for the children of highly placed officers?
if anyone should be a MoG, honestly, it should be Guilliman of the Primarchs I mean hm also noodling around having one of the primarchs be Secretly A Daemon The Whole Time but have it be someone you wouldn't expect
magnus is probably the easiest to retool as Some Dude psyker leader of a psyker society who joins the imperium in exchange for position of power
actually, hm if i wanted one of the loyalists to be a daemon the whole time i'd go with russ or corvus what if Corvus was always a sentient cloud of ravens except sometimes he wore a trenchcoat the emperor kept giving them shiny things and thus they attempted to repay him this was not actually a well thought out plan by the emperor, it just sort of snowballed also explains Corvus' name the flock was curious and investigated, the emperor got to meet his first warp spirit
Ferrus' story is actually a mix of three separate dudes - an army officer, a guy who fought a duel with Fulgrim, and Perturabo this chimeric creation was later named "Ferrus Manus" after the Iron Hands
primarchs: Lion: never actually existed, was invented post-Heresy. Actual primarch of the 1st was Luther II: the 2nd legion was actually retired very fast and never had a primarch, they kept the numbering scheme because everything was already set up Fulgrim: regular dude, rags to riches story, possibly thought he'd be a Justin (Justinian's uncle) Perturabo: Man of Gold Jaghatai: really not sure what to do about him Russ: just some dude, i think that would make him actually interesting Dorn: not sure but leaning towards either regular dude or a dynasty of multiple regular dude Dorns that lead the 7th Curze: never existed, is slenderman Sanguinius: actually a woman, also the combo of multiple figures Ferrus: see above 11: clerical error Angron: MoG that deteriorated over the course of the Crusade, sadly everyone only remembers his end Guilliman: MoG who was more of a peer with the emperor but agreed to join his empire to the Emperor's for the greater good
Mortarion: combo of multiple people, all of whom were regular dudes - woman who lead a resistance movement (supported by imperium) on her planet against their ruler, a rando man from that planet a few generations later that wasn't even related to her who pulled a Basil I except instead of ending up Emperor he was a sector governor, and a military guy with a similar name who had absolutely no relation to either of the other two and wasn't even from the same Segmentum Magnus: name isn't actually Magnus, Magnus was his title, leader of a society of psykers, ended up summoning a big red daemon which is why he is remembered as being that way. Also was not actually involved with the military, it was actually Arvida running the 15th legion, Magnus was only ever a civilian leader
hm wait thinking about modifying Magnus what if Prospero wasn't a human planet
ok i'm getting rid of the "summoning a daemon", they all look like magnus' portrayal the oldhammer cyclops figure i saw one time
Council of Nikaea was about general education of and treatment of psykers noodling around the idea of more and more "Incidents" happening The Magnus and the Prospereans claimed that they'd historically had that right wait idea Navigators are human-Prosperean hybrids
that's why the forehead eye
the "navigator gene" is actually nonhuman dna navigator is what happens when human pyskers have kids with prospereans
