i do find it really fucking funny how a lot of the bare bones of a starless clan are so blatantly rehashed from the broken code. what if they use the exact same pattern of "insecure boy, girl in forbidden relationship/love triangle with insecure boy, and traumatised medcat apprentice doing their own thing" in the next arc or five as well.

Snowells Week 2023

FrostNash: Year 7 + Red (Gold)

(so, day 1/color + day 7/year 7???)

Fic premise:

A red string of fate Frost/Nash soulmate story.......but it's a thread that's gold because of the song "Invisible String" by Taylor Swift where the lyric goes "one single thread of gold tied me to you".

The story takes place in season 7. Newly released from prison, Frost’s a bit unsure of where to go with her life. She has Chillblaine following her around like a lost puppy dog and she just is not interested. He won't take a hint so one night a few beers in, Frost gets a little chilly with him. As he takes off wounding his ego, Nash shows up back from the dead. Why is he back? Why did he return near Frost? Why does Frost feel so happy he's back? Are they connected more than they know? What if he's not back permanently? They'll just have to figure out if all along there was some invisible string tying them together.

Emma Frost

For starters, I became an X-Men fan about 10 years ago, based on the movies... And now I've come back to them after quite a long time, and I'm disheartened to find that, as far as the movies are concerned, the memories have been very, very kind to me. I've never actually read the comics, just now a few excerpts that interested me more, thus, what I know about Emma Frost is what "Wolverine and the X-men" told me, and what Wiki advised me, or what I've gleaned from fanfictions, of which there is an incredible lack. From what I know at the moment, she's an interesting character to me, probably the most interesting one I know in the x-men with a lot of potential. I like her look, how her powers work, and her contradictory nature. She's complex and has both strengths and weaknesses, she's very strong but not impossible to defeat, which to me is more interesting than an invincible entity. Her performance in the film is poor, though I actually find January Jones to be a pretty appropriate choice. But, who hasn't been done a disservice by these movies?

Rogue

Well, maybe listing Rogue as one of my favourite characters is quite an exaggeration, after all, I don't really care for her character in the movie, she didn't really interest me in the TAS series either, she showed up in the anime for about a second at the end if I remember correctly, and I don't remember what she did in Wolverine and the X-men at all... Still, I really liked her in Evolution. Which is why she's here. I enjoyed how they adapted her character into Emo mode, her partially conflicted status on the team, her endearing crush on Scott. She was really strong while having a balanced mix of negative and positive qualities. I was really disappointed that we didn't see a fifth season, because I believe the writers would have handled the Phoenix story and we would have seen Scogue, which given the parallel with their uncontrollable abilities is quite an interesting pairing.

Jean Grey

She was my most favorite character years ago. And for a very good reason. I had a really really big crush on Famke Jannsen. No well, yes I really liked Famke after watching x-men and obsessively watched every one of her movies... Yes every one... Even the really really bad ones... What a man won't do for love... But I liked Jean for several reasons. First: So her abilities even without the phoenix are simply the best. And I, the busty, had a weakness for strong characters. Also, I enjoyed the whole split personality story, actually a lot more than the comic book version, if only it was handled better... Also, she was a doctor. And I wanted to be a doctor at that time. And her whole resurrection and dying and resurrection story was just thrilling. In the present, I still enjoy Jean, despite of her Deux Ex machina persona at times, I like that she is treated partially as a being that is out of this world. I'm more interested in her as a mover and go-between for the other characters, I like her interactions with Emma, what she represents for Emma, I like her relationship with Scott, but I think they should move on, I like what she represents for the X-men community, but I think she should be dead by now.

Honorable Characters: Rachel Summers, Ruby Summers, Magik, Boom Boom, Kitty and Madelyne Pryor.

✨Dream:-

He is 5'3 tall and is pretty skiny too.

He is also quite evil and sadistic as well as being a clever fox like fellow. So it's like that one kid in ur class who knows the answer to all questions but won't say until asked. But will only answer when it's necessary to.

He will do anything to cause chaos cuz of which he is like chaotic evil.

The reason why he knows everything about the multiverse and au of chapter or any timeline. Is that he travels from one au to the other well to cause chaos but at the same time gather a ton of information about that au and it's timeline space.

He cares the most for the ones he cares about (for eg:- his brother and frost shattered which I'll tell about in some later post).

The ice crystals on his face are Ada cold as dry ice and never ever touch him without his gloves on. Well bc if u look very close at his bones then u teensy-tiny frost layer on him which is dry ice.

And the crystals on his face are his source of magic and power. But if that ice breaks (not completely) it will regenerate in a fraction of seconds. But if it melts completely he will melt as well and die well not completely die. Even if he melts he will get disintegrated but will only die when his soul has dusted off when he melts. If he melts his soul will be still alive.

💙Nightmare:-

He is 5'5 tall and skinny just like Dream.

He is a bit sarcastic and evil as well. Even though he doesn't have any bad intentions. He is trust worthy and will basically become ur personal therapist after few meetings with you (and that to somehow on his own).

He doesn't have intentions like his brother so he's chaotic neutral or you can say neutral.

Just like his brother even he too goes from au to the other. But not for chaos but only information purpose only.

He too cares about dream and shattered. Well the thing is that ever since dream brought shattered to their house (dm's and nm's) the two octo-s did get along but they fight a lot. Well if they were to fight then it would always end up to be hilarious house drama. In the end just for dream to end up using a slipper at both of them. But sometimes wouldn't be able to bc one of the octo-s would grab him by the tentacles.

But just like dream has ice crystals on his eye socket. Just like that nightmare too had those before he had eaten the apple. But after he had eaten the apple while corruption that ice crystal had melted and turned into goop which covers of nightmare's sockets and same happened when dream (shattered) ate the apple.

Like I said earlier that if u touch dream without his gloves u will get frostbite bc of thin dry ice layer just like if you touch nightmare or shattered's tentacles or hands you will get a frostbite. A terrible one.

Jack felt a heavy weight on his chest. It pressed down on him until his limbs felt like lead. His hair was wet, matted with sweat.

His eyes shot open. Not only from the foreign feeling of sweat glistening his skin, but because he heard a creek in the floorboards to his right. He didn’t have time to survey his unfamiliar surroundings.

Panic welled in his chest. stronger then the weight that held it down.

He only had one thought.

He had to keep Jamie safe.

He sprung forward for his staff. It was a miracle he hadn’t lost it. He tightened his grip and put it between himself and the intruder.

The boy… man? Stopped in his tracks. Then Lifted his hands in the air. Slowly, as if he was a wounded animal about to bolt. He took a step forward.

“I’m not going to hurt you…”

Watched ep 2 of sob s2, and I Finally figured out what was bugging be about Mal and the first army’s fight in ep1. They edited it like a the Jesper fight in ep2, except Jesper is fighting with guns (famously faster than the human eye), but Mal is just punching people, so it looks goofy as hell when he does it.
