Dec 21 - had one of those days where I randomly woke up super early, after only a few hours of sleep, and then couldn't get back to sleep for hours. Then when I did finally drift off, I slept hard. So it was stupidly late when I finally got up and showered and stuff.

Got more photos scanned (yay), though not as many as yesterday, before it was time to go make supper for the nephew and I; did beef and macaroni stew, using bow-tie pasta.

Managed to spill my bowl of it across one end of my keyboard, argh. By the time I'd cleaned up from that and got my laptop connected to a bluetooth keyboard I also had on hand (because gaming on tablet), the nephew had managed to have three helpings of supper, so I got very little of it in the end.

The rest of the evening has been a loss as far as getting anything actually done, too frazzled about the keyboard accident to continue with more scanning, or to do any real playing of games (like I logged into NMS long enough to collect stuff from my frigates and send them out again on new missions, but that was it).

It’s so weird to feel myself physically put on a different personalities for different people. Not even in the DID way — that’s mostly for me, and internal — but in the way that I have different tones of voices and laughs and body gestures for coworkers and family and friends, so much so that I don’t believe anyone in my life knows the real me and not just the decided “me” I’ve created for them to interact with to make them like me more, based on the way they act.
