‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’ Rinnovato da Paramount+

“Criminal Minds: Evolution” è stato rinnovato per un'altra stagione da Paramount+.

Il revival di “Criminal Minds”, “Evolution” è ripartito da dove la serie si era fermata quando si era conclusa dopo quindici stagioni sulla CBS nel 2020. Secondo Paramount+, dopo la premiere del giorno del Ringraziamento del 2022, la serie è diventata uno dei primi cinque prodotti originali della piattaforma di streaming e ha spinto l'intero franchise di “Criminal Minds” a crescere di quasi sei volte nel numero di spettatori, mese dopo mese.

“Siamo esaltati all'idea di dare altre trame contorte ai nostri leali fan di ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’ ordinando un'altra stagione,” ha detto Tanya Giles, capo dell'ufficio programmazione di Paramount Streaming. “La serie è sempre stata tra le migliori in termini di performance su Paramount+ e i fan hanno accolto rapidamente la nuova stagione, con i suoi elementi più serializzati. Straw Dogs (1971).

Straw Dogs is a psychological thriller, directed by Sam Peckinpah and starring Dustin Hoffman and Susan George. The screenplay, by Peckinpah and David Zelag Goodman, is based upon Gordon M. Williams's 1969 novel, The Siege of Trencher's Farm.

The film is noted for its violent concluding sequences and a "complicated" rape scene. Released theatrically the same year as A Clockwork Orange, The French Connection and Dirty Harry, the film sparked heated controversy over the perceived increase of violence in cinema. However, Straw Dogs is still considered by many to be one of Peckinpah's greatest films. A remake was released in 2011 and it is a very pale "imitator" of its predecessor!

David Sumner (Dustin Hoffman), a mild-mannered academic from the United States, marries Amy (Susan George), an Englishwoman. In order to escape a hectic stateside lifestyle, David and his wife relocate to the small town in rural Cornwall where Amy was raised. It is there that David is ostracized by the brutish men of the village, including Amy's old flame, Charlie (Del Henney). Eventually the taunts escalate and two of the locals rape Amy. This sexual assault awakes the shockingly violent side of David!

The violence of the original piece was interpreted in disparate ways by both critics and the movie going public. Many critics saw an endorsement of violence as redemption and the film as a fascist celebration of violence and vigilantism. Others saw it as anti-violence, noting the bleak ending consequent to the violence. Dustin Hoffman viewed his character as deliberately, yet subconsciously, provoking the violence, his concluding homicidal rampage being the emergence of his true self; this view was not shared by director Sam Peckinpah!

Desde que tiene memoria, recuerda que siempre le ha interesado la psique humana y como este puede gatillar en síntomas a nivel orgánico o eso es lo que relata. Tras estudiar Medicina en la Universidad Nacional de Seúl, tuvo su especialidad en Psiquiatría en la Universidad de Zúrich, Suiza, con un doctorado en Depresión en Adolescentes y Adultos Jóvenes.

Creo un proyecto en prevención del suicidio para los jóvenes de su país, sin embargo no resulto debido que el Colegio Médico lo consideró “innecesario”, por lo que perdió varios millones de wons con el cambio de población en observación. Pero Minho no se rindió, estudió con interés aquella población que salía recién de la adolescencia para trabajar o estudiar, observando el enorme estrés que cargaban como también lo critico que puede ser con sus mismos compañeros de equipo de trabajo por no darle importancia aquellos factores.

Es por ello que una universidad, interesada en su perseverancia y conocimiento, lo contrató para ser parte del equipo docente para la capacitación de los estudiantes de Salud. Eso hizo recuperar algo del dinero perdido en sus investigaciones y por supuesto el reconocimiento de sus estudiantes.

Actualmente esta como profesor tutor para la Escuela de Enfermería, siendo pareja de Jang Chaeyeon, su compañera de proyecto de investigación.

CURIOSIDADES

Es un hombre encantador aunque algo reservado pero agradable y generalmente se mantiene calmado.

Es fan de Shinhwa desde que su ex primera novia se los presentó hace mas de 20 años.

Sabe perfectamente el por qué las muchachas de Enfermería como las profesoras le suspiran tanto y pues le agrada, pero procura mantener la linea, desde lo ocurrido con Min Yong Jae.

El pasado de Minho es un misterio total, ya que evita completamente hablar de aquello, al igual que las mujeres con quienes se ha relacionado, algunos dicen que ha llegado a 300, pero son 5 las que ha salido más formalmente a lo largo de su vida.

Lleva más de 20 años de amistad con su mejor amiga Kyungri, quien es tambien médico que prácticamente es parte de la familia Yong.

Tiene un medio hermano llamado Yong Minsoo, quien es bastante menor que él, de 14 años de diferencia, con quien tiene una relación bastante complicada.

Su mejor amigo es el esposo de Kyungri, tambien psiquiatra.
