I watched Aidan Close’s interview from Behind the Curtain on YouTube, and there was a bit at the 26:32 min mark that had me chuckling and I had to draw it

I am aware that they are supposed to be fully in disguise during this scene but I wanted to draw the characters as themselves :)

Who, for the longest, did not know about their significant parentage

Who had a lot of expectations placed on them for said parentage

Who was told - when they were older - about a significant trait of themselves by strangers

Who was connected to a prophecy

Who was possessed of an ancient magic, a magic associated with the dark (Parseltongue)

Who longed painfully for a parental figure, but did not have the best of luck with those presenting themselves as potential replacement parents

Who formed a meaningful relationship with a winged animal

Soooo, according to the play, Delphi grew up with death eaters, right? She probably wasn't allowed to learn anything about the muggle world. And children love the forbidden...

What if Delphini, in some (for the snakeman) cruel twist of fate, became absolutely obsessed with her muggle lineage instead.

I mean, just imagine:

Little Delphi at the dinner table: Who cares if I am a descendant of Slytherin and the house of Black? My great-grandparents fought in and survived world war one! And I am also a descendant of several kings! Isn't that the really impressive thing? Did you know that one of Mary Riddle's nieces was a famous film star? I want to be a filmstar too, when I grow up!

I finally finished and watched Cursed Child. I don’t know why this fandom doesn’t like to acknowledge it. Not only was it fabulous but it made sense as to why JK Rowling approved and made it canon. So glad she did. The story was so great I laughed and I even got emotional. And the set and the magic they brought to life was so amazing. Albus and Scorpius were such an adorable duo I loved them a lot. And Delphini man oh man don’t get me started with Delphini I am her number one fan now she was so great. Definitely Bellatrix and Voldemort’s daughter in my opinion for sure. Her character just makes me so happy. I don’t care what anyone saids I love Curse Child and now I am such a huge fan of it ! Thank you @mistressaugury for sending me that link to experience it you are an angel from above.

I actually like that Bellatrix had a bastard child, it just makes sense to me.

Delphini could have been conceived in a number of ways:

1. Through a ritual, Voldemort made Rodolphus and Bellatrix fertile as a reward. Rodolphus then lied to Delphini about her heritage because he believed she was mostly Voldemort’s child, since her existence was only possible thanks to Voldemort. He lied to honor Voldemort and also because he felt undeserving of being called her father. And also because he knew Bellatrix would want her daughter to think she was the child of one of the "greatest" wizards alive and her master at the same time.

2. Using a ritual, Voldemort magically granted Bellatrix a portion of his dna.

3. Through Bellatrix and Rodolphus, but Roddy lied for whatever reason.

4. Bellatrix and Voldemort had sex.

Which means Bellamort is not canon, only fanon speculation. You can pick and choose what you like - I pick the first.

Delphini is a Lestrange, and I think her not being Voldemort’s daughter - only believing she is - is so symbolic and connects her to her mother so much. I like this theory the most. Her life being centered around Voldemort, just like her parents' were is perfect.

confused as to which generation mattheo riddle is supposed to belong to? cause I've heard so many people say golden era but he could also be delphini riddle's brother and the son of bellatrix lestrange and tom riddle? for me that makes the most sense to be fair
