“The dilophosaurus crouched on its hind legs by the river, drinking. It was built on the basic carnivore pattern, with a heavy tail, strong hind limbs, and a long neck. Its ten-foot-tall body was spotted yellow and black, like a leopard. But it was the head that held Tim’s attention. Two broad curving crests met in the center, making a V shape above the dinosaur’s head. The crests had red and black stripes, reminiscent of a parrot or toucan. The animal gave a soft hooting cry, like an owl.” (Jurassic Park, Michael Crichton, pg. 142)
"Underneath, the bellies were bright green, like lizards.“ (Jurassic Park, Michael Crichton, pg. 286)
Remake of an old Jurassic Park-style Dilophosaurus headshot I made back in 2016. This one’s been upgraded with a full-body piece!

I’ve just realized i haven’t posted these two little pests (affectionately). @paleopinesofficial
Context: I had finally came to accept having some dino friends leave to make a plan on my ranch when I found those two amazing looking buddies. This was supposed to just be a meme sketch at first but uh I got too invested so ✨colors✨.

Some cute and quick sketches for the paleo pines contest this weekend ✨️🦌🌸
I dont think they are likely to get in as they are a tad more complicated then the games style but it was still fun, a girl can dream of deer themed dinosaurs :p
