My senpai and I are very different people lmao she just suggested we take the 100¥ bus to save us less than 15 minutes walking and I'm like GIRL I am NOT paying ANY amount of money if I can reasonably walk there

Walked around and helped myself to Norway Lobster with Chilli Crab Sauce and Fried Mantou. Now, the lobsters were warm and the chilli crab sauce fantastic when you eat it with the mantou but alas, the spiny lobsters weren’t as fresh and succulent as they should be with some on the mushy side.

I enjoyed the Salted Egg Prawn so much that I had seconds. They were not only crunchy but also savoury and sweet with a coating of salted egg yolk sauce. Even better is that I don’t have to deshell them. I think this was my favourite item of the night and my colleague agreed with me.

I avoided the Seafood Spaghetti as the noodles would fill me up and I rather spent it on the other premium proteins. The restaurant was very generous with the Hong Kong Style Barramundi as the fish came in chunky cuts sitting in soya sauce.

Ok so about a month ago I was desperately trying to remember who wrote about Yaoyorozu Yakuza au and I could not for the life of me find the specific one I was looking for (i.e. yours) so I am incredibly happy to see it pop on my feed again.

Also, if hypothetically Momo were to let Izuku have a little crime as a treat how would that go down? Between the two of them they could cause so much chaos but the yakuza in bnha are pretty low profile + the whole hero student thing so would they break out the goofy disguises?

My life goal - inflict a vague "was that like, a fic? an au post? a dream?" on people.

Momo, in an attempt to make up for the leaps and bounds her quirk has been developing since she started chatting with Izuku is like - "i need to get him a present but the only thing he ever wants is All Might merch and he owns like. all of it." So she has to brainstorm a better present.

Enter - mid-stakes heist her family is orchestrating on a small HPSC office in Hakone. She invites Izuku to do some snow training on a ski slope her uncle owns, and then reveals that not only are they going to do training (something Izuku was very excited for) they are going to steal! From Izuku's least favourite government agency!

Typically her family stick to like. Generic theft, protection fees, illegal gambling rings and creative accounting (one of her recent ancestors had a tanuki style quirk that let him turn leaves into gold for about 24hrs. so, also counterfeiting? I guess?) . But! The HPSC is trying to keep the fact that a lot of the yakuza are still around under wraps by taking them out lethally, so no one hears about them. So, the HPSC having info about them is a major risk, especially with their dear Momo trying to become a hero!

Today we are celebrating Evan’s birthday and we did a morning hike and got completely rained on but like right as we reached the summit but it’s all worth it bc we’re going to kbbq 😎😎😎

The slow braised Black Angus Prime Beef Rib was tender and soft with the right amount of fat in there and the gravy was rich and flavourful. Here are the bits and pieces I picked up walking among the different food stations. I love the Truffle Mashed Potatoes with the subtle perfume of the earthy fungus.

See, I told you I went for more of the Salted Egg Prawn and also picked up a piece of the barramundi which while meaty wasn’t a hit with my palate as I found it on the plain side. Dining partner came back with this Pan-Fried Lobsters from the Indian Station. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and the flesh was dry.

The wait staff were busy serving drinks with a skewered lychee perched on top. They came over to our table as asked if daddy (that would be moi) would like one. I nodded, not sure how to response as my “son” opposite me is a colleague. :D A non-alcoholic Fruit Juice Cocktail was placed in front of me. I think it was just a concoction of lime juice and canned lychee syrup in there but refreshing, nonetheless.

Later in the evening, the staffs were handing out Goodies Bag to male diners or at least men who look like fathers. I got my office’s “son” with me so they gave one to me. The perks of being a “father” minus the responsibility! :D The bag contains a 20% off return voucher for a certain buffet theme as well as an Inductive Charger for handphone.

Can anyone recommend a good brand of grippy sock/tight slipper? No; not for that reason. I’m kinda eh mentally but not necessarily in crisis (yet)…

The fake hardwood floors in this apartment are literal sensory hell to walk on. I can’t take my socks off and walk barefoot on them for two seconds without getting the worst fucking joint cramps in my hands and feet I’ve ever felt in my life. It’s like insta-gout, just add naked toes; but I don’t actually have gout (thank god)… it’s SOLELY from the texture of the floor. I’ve been wearing the same vampire bat socks for four days because I can’t bear to remove them unless my feet have been soaked in hot water before.
