Chapter 3: Oath

A/N: Welcome to the third chapter of Top Gun: Baby, a love story following Bradley Bradshaw and Allie Campbell. Chapter Three: Oath

BRADLEY’S POV

I was already finished getting changed into my white works, holding onto my copy of Reef Points as others were still messing with their white fabrics and dixie cup hats. This is the official “handbook” if you will that all Naval Academy students have to have memorized by the end of Plebe Summer. All it is are facts and details about the USNA and Naval missions, histories, and traditions. Like a textbook that you use for a college course.

Lucky for me, I was able to get my hands on one earlier this year thanks to Hollywood, another naval man that flew with my dad. He contacted me after I received my acceptance letter and promised that if I ever needed anything, he would help. That was code for “If you want me to put in a good word, I’ll do it”. I am a man of my own integrity and have every intention of creating my own repudiation. What the fuck am I saying? There’s no way anyone generational can create their own rep in this field. I am and will forever be known as “Goose’s kid”. It fucking sucks. I hate it, and am headstrong enough to prove them wrong with any misconceptions they might have of me, but I know for some navalmen, that will be excruciatingly difficult. I want to do this on my own. I want to prove that I should be here, not just that I could be here because of my dad.

Within the next few minutes, we were assigned our ICAO Company. A group of ten women were assigned to the Alpha Company. Natasha was one of them. She gave me a wave as she walked over to her quarters, in her dress whites, which fit her perfectly. I looked like a clown. I hated the uniforms, but didn’t want to complain too much, because there was a point in my life where I thought I would never get the chance to wear them.

I was one of the last to be called to a group, assigned to the November Company. Once we made it to our quarters, which was on the first floor of the building, I heard an Officer yell out “102 Bradshaw and Frasier”. Someone Frasier, whoever he was, was going to be my roommate for the next four years. 

I walked forward and made eye contact with him as he walked to the front as well. “Looks like it’s us!” He said in a comedic tone. I could already tell he was going to be a character. Honestly, I would’ve preferred it this way. I would rather be with someone goofy like me than be with a hardass.

We walked into the room and noticed that there were 2 sets of bunks. Whoever Frasier made his way to the one on the right, so I made my way to the one on the left. The bunks were made of a deep gray metal and the room was covered in tan white paint. There were two white sheets on both ends of the beds, a fitted one and a flat one. Both polyester. Score! I loved polyester sheets. My mom would surprise me on random occasions and take me to a hotel to sleep when I was younger. Most of the time it was when I did something good in school, like scoring a 100 on a big test or reporting a bullying situation to the teacher. I was considered a tattle tale when I was younger, but I didn’t care! I got to sleep in a hotel and swim in their pools! So, you bet your sweet ass when I found someone getting pounded at recess, I was the first one to run to the teachers and alert them of the situation. I would do ANYTHING to get to sleep in those polyester sheets! Damn, I was a hot dog.

“I’m Bradley.” I introduced myself, holding out my hand.

“Emmett.” He said with a big smile on his face, gripping my hand and giving it a light shake.

“Nice to meet you.” I said, watching him as he put on his sheets.

“Quit staring at my ass man.” He muttered out with a corner of the fitted sheet in his mouth, swaying his hips from side to side as a way to show off his backside.

I let out an airy laugh as I turned to make my bed. I was going to like this guy. He was equally as well humorous as me. Just maybe a little more immature.

“So what’s your story?” I asked him as I focused on my sheets.

“Buy me dinner first.” He quickly responded. I chuckled at his remark and shook my head a little. I stayed quiet, waiting for him to respond, which he eventually did. “My mom caught me and my buddies getting high and told me that I had two options: report my dealer to the cops or enlist in the military”.

I shot up from my bunk, looking over at him, his hands here resting on his hips in a way too casual way for his recent admission.

“What?!” I asked, still in disbelief.

“No, I'm just kidding,” He said, turning back around, “Well, not about the getting high part. She found my bong and I knew I was fucked. So when she confronted me about it I was able to shoot back with the ‘I’m already planning on applying to the Academy’ card. Which was true! I was already going anyway, it just bought me some leverage”. 

“I maybe wouldn’t share that story with the Officers on base”.

“Oh yeah I know! They think I got the idea in church. Sitting in the front pew, on my knees, getting the idea all of a sudden, saying it was God talking to me. They ate that shit up”. Shit that was good. My admissions essay was about him, and my mom, and my dad. Basically how my whole life has been a fucking mess. I was able to buy myself some pity, but his essay topic, now that was just genius! “What about you?” He asked me.

“It’s generational” I said to him, which was just the abridged version of all of my shit events. I tucked the pillow case in the pillow and threw it to the edge of the bed.

“Cool!” Emmett exclaimed sarcastically. “You look a little old to be here”. He stated boldly.

This caused me to smirk and let out yet another airy laugh. “I’m 23.” I answered coldly again.

He had his hands back on his hips, looking at me as though I had more to add to our encounter. “Well, this has been a fascinating conversation” he remarked, yet in another sarcastic tone. “Got a girl?”

I shook my head as I adjusted the sheets on my bed.

“Yeah me neither.” He said quickly.

“What!” I exclaimed, turning to him, “How does a guy like you not have a girl!” I was saying it more in a sarcastically joking tone, but there was some truth to it, because he was quite fun.

“I know, it’s not fair.” he said slyly. 

Just then, someone barged into our room. His eyes were a piercing green, his muscles protruding out of his solid black shirt, he wore navy green cargo pants and boots. His skin was a deep color of brown. “Ladies!” he yelled at us. He was definitely our detailer, the man in charge of training us for the summer.

“That would be us!” Emmett responded. Shit!

“Never speak unless spoken to!” The detailer screamed in his face. Emmett immediately went cold. “Now drop down and give me 20”. Before I could blink, Emmett was on the ground, doing pushups. “YOUR NOSE TOUCHES THE GROUND!” He screamed. Emmett went down further, until the tip of his nose grazed the tiled floor.

“And you!” He yelled to me, in less of an angry tone since I didn’t do anything wrong, “15”!

I got down quickly and did my push ups in perfect posture. The tips of my toes were on the ground and I went low until my nose was touching the floor. I couldn’t see him, but I saw an adjustment in his shadow, telling me that he was impressed with my performance. 

We both finished at the same time, standing up and looking at him. “You always stand at attention when being spoken to!” Both of us stood up, sticking our chests out, making sure to mirror each other so that if we messed up, at least we went down together. The detailer sighed and let out a “Jesus” before walking over to us and adjusting our postures to what it should be.

“My name is Denzel Housemen. You will call me sir until I tell you to stop”. He finished adjusting me and I made sure to memorize the position my body was in, holding my stance until I was told to stand down. “When I am not near you, assume that I’m close. I can approach you at any time of any day. So be ready”. He said as he adjusted Emmett.

He took a step back and examined both of us, “At ease gentlemen.” He said smoothly.

Both Emmett and I dropped our stance and looked at him, ready to go down whenever we should. We heard yelling coming from other quarters and assumed that everyone else was becoming acquainted with their trainers.

Denzel looked me up and down. “You must be the Bradshaw boy.” He stated, confident in his answer.

My face pulled down, knowing that he knew about me and the story of my family. “Yes, sir.” I said quietly.

“I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” He started to scream at me.

“Yes, sir!” I yelled back, audible with clear diction.

“We expect great things from you”. He said calmly, before acknowledging Emmett. “Oh yeah, the kiss ass ‘found my calling at church’ admissions essay. Mom bust you for drugs or something?” He asked.

Emmett was about to answer and then froze, opting not to answer. “I ASKED YOU A QUESTION!” Denzel yelled at him.

“No, sir!” Emmett yelled back. 

I had to bite my tongue hard, fighting back with everything I had not to laugh.

“Well, you both seem very intelligent. We’ll see if you last the night. Follow me gentlemen- and in proper posture! Pivot on your feet when you make a turn and never look down. I promise I will let you know if the ground erodes from the Earth”.

Emmett and I followed him as he made his way to the commons area. Men and women were lining up in their white works, standing at attention and facing forward. Most parents had stayed for this portion, the most important portion. The oath of office.

Right at 18:00, a Commandment of Midshipmen began the ceremony. They first informed us about our statement of intent and then ordered us to raise our right hand and repeat after him.

I looked over my left shoulder and saw Natasha, she raised her right eyebrow quickly, moving it up and down while she raised her right hand. I smirked at her and then looked over my right shoulder, he was standing right at the end of the row I was in, which only had 3 of my classmates separating us. Although he wasn’t beaming with happiness, he didn’t look upset or angry either. One could say he looked proud. 

I shot him a disapproving look before raising my right hand, keeping a sharp glare on him as I repeated after the commanding officer;

“HAVING BEEN APPOINTED A MIDSHIPMAN IN THE UNITED STATES 

NAVY,

 I SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT I WILL SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE 

CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES 

AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC; 

THAT I WILL BEAR TRUE FAITH AND ALLEGIANCE TO THE SAME; 

THAT I TAKE THIS OBLIGATION FREELY, 

WITHOUT ANY MENTAL RESERVATION OR PURPOSE OF EVASION; 

AND THAT I WILL WELL AND FAITHFULLY DISCHARGE THE DUTIES OF THE OFFICE 

ON WHICH I AM ABOUT TO ENTER,

I closed my mouth and continued to stare at him, keeping my right hand raised as people cheered around me. I was now in the Navy. He lost. I won.

He didn’t cheer. He didn’t even smile. Instead, he looked at the ground before shifting his weight and walking away. Having no intention of staying any longer.

Yeah, that’s right. YOU lost. I won!

Beginning in 1964, COMCARDIV FIVE was permanently deployed to the Western Pacific and dual-hatted CTF 70/CTF 77, homeported at Naval Air Station Cubi Point in the Philippines. During the Vietnam War, Task Force 77 conducted carrier strike operations from the Gulf of Tonkin and South China Sea for nine years, from 1964 to 1973. Twenty-one of the Navy's 23 operational carriers made at least one cruise with the Task Force and served over 9,100 days on the line. The nickname "Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club" came to be associated with US carrier operations off Vietnam. Rolling Thunder air strikes, armed reconnaissance, and photo reconnaissance missions were conducted against selected targets and lines of communication (LOC) in North Vietnam, while operational procedures were developed by the operating units, 7th Air Force and Carrier Task Force 77, that permitted the full range of coordination for all air operations in the Rolling Thunder program. As the U.S. Navy entered heavy combat in Southeast Asia between 1965 and 1968, a chain of command evolved which reflected the complex character of the war. In theory, Commander in Chief, Pacific was the commander of all American forces in Asia, including those assigned to Commander, U.S. Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (COMUSMACV). The U.S. Pacific Fleet was the naval component of the Pacific Command and as such directed the Navy's activities in that ocean. Subordinate to Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CINCPACFLT) was Commander, U.S. Seventh Fleet, who conducted those naval operations in Southeast Asia primarily external to South Vietnam. The fleet's Attack Carrier Striking Force (Task Force 77) mounted from the South China Sea the aerial interdiction campaign in Laos and North Vietnam, while Seventh Fleet's cruiser and destroyer units hunted the enemy's logistic craft along the North Vietnamese coast, bombarded targets ashore, and provided naval gunfire support to allied forces in South Vietnam. From the South China Sea, the Seventh Fleet's Attack Carrier Strike Force mounted the Rolling Thunder bombing and Blue Tree tactical reconnaissance operations in North Vietnam; the Barrel Roll, Steel Tiger, and Tiger Hound bombing and Yankee Team reconnaissance efforts in Laos; and the ground support mission in South Vietnam. Except during the period in 1965 and 1966, when the aircraft carrier supporting operations in the South sailed at Dixie Station, the carrier task force was deployed at Yankee Station (after April 1966 at 17°30'N 108°30'E). Generally, before August 1966, two or three carriers operated in Task Force 77, and after that date the number was often three or four. During the Easter Offensive 1972 Five and Six carriers operated in Task Force 77. On each ship, a carrier air wing controlled 70 to 100 aircraft, usually grouped in two fighter and three attack squadrons, a reconnaissance attack squadron, an airborne early warning squadron, and smaller detachments. Detriment to know, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong goes to retrieve it themselves while King K Rool and the Kremlings tries to retrieve it first.

(Mara and Amatory Adventures) Episode 21: Mara and Amatory has gone out of a fun adventure of going out of her favorite place as Mara fellings for her began to grow.

(Before they Strike) Episode 22: Bowser told Jr and the Koopaling that his Newist plan was gonna work this time as Gill Koopa's work blueprints for their own Mecha Castle/Battleship and a few new minions under his belt, Lemmy convince Bowser to go one day early and convince Acorn Plains to make him the new ruler.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 1) Episode 23: When Mara is read, Bowser's plan was finally ready and put into action as he captures Peach and brutally assaults' Amaotry, leading her to join The Mario Bros to save Peach.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 2) Episode 24: The first land they go is Acorn Plains where they started out on this adventure, teaching Mara how to survive aganst enemies, traps and pit falls as Mara experience her first power-ups like the "Super Acorn" and "Fire Flower" as they chase Lemmy.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 3) Episode 25: Princess Daisy is in trouble as Wendy and the Koopa Troops took over the Sarasaland, Gill manage to get involved with new power-ups.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 4) Episode 26: They go down into the deeps of the Ocean World to defeat Larry, they go through the Koopa Security foces the way they took out "Chomp Chomp"

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 5) Episode 27: The Mario Sibs are gonna have to survive the slippery time in their adventure in the cold and the Bros thought Mara how to skate to Iggy's Mecha Castle/Battleship. They go to the next Koopa Security Forces but haunted where they meet and fought a carnages ghost "Fright Roaster".

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 6) Episode 28: Forest Land was in chaos by extremes Magic by Ludwig Von Koopa as they swing for their lives.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 7) Episode 29: In Mountain Land, Now they have to be very careful when it comes a crossed with the Danrouges stables of them moutians to Mortons Castle/Battleship.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 8) Episode 30: They go through Roy's Castle/Battleship attacks as the airships attack at Sky Land with a new flying power up.

(Super Mario Bros and Sis Part 9) Season Final Episode 31: Finally at Darklands, Mario, Luigi and Mara fought through to fight Bowser to save Peach and hopefully Mara will do this for Amatory.

Here we have the first fan made season 1 of Super Mario Rebirth Show, Where Mara founds herself in the Mushroom Kingdom where she reunites her her brothers after 3 years. Bowser was planning something big after his last battle with the Mario Bros and their friends. After his attempt to use Mara as bait failed, he decided to send most of his empire to distract his enemies for a month till the events of My Super Mario Bros and Sis arc.

Some episodes was were be about The Mario Bros and Friends, Mara Mario and her friends, Donkey Kong Country, Wario Bros and The Koopa Family, remember, some doesn’t have to be involving of which one another.

This is kind of a long response so I’m sorry in advance 😅

I am a firm Zach stan and he is literally one of my favorite male literary characters ever! I am also a firm believer that Cammie was/is Zach’s first (and only) love. I say this because he was completely enamored by her the first time he ever met her like that was a given. And the fact that he knew everything he could via Joe how could he not at least be intrigued by her?

But! Like any boy I feel like he obviously had celebrity crushes (I think he had a definite crush on Jessica Alba and Jennifer Garner). I have a headcanon that he had a crush on a childhood babysitter that Catherine hired once when she had to go on a mission and the babysitter’s name was something so common like Amber or Emma. He also had a crush on a girl in the second grade who kicked him in the shin because he accidentally made her spill her Dixie cup full of lemonade all over her brand new dress. With that being said, I think meeting Cammie completely flipped his world upside down because here’s this girl that’s just like him. He doesn’t have to really truly hide himself from her. He doesn’t have to worry about accidentally saying hello in mandarin. He doesn’t have to worry about whether or not this girl will run back to her friends and tell them what a nerd she thinks he is. He doesn’t have to worry about whether or not this girl can completely blow his cover or worry about keeping his cover in tact for fear of her getting hurt. (And that’s a big one!)

So having a crush and then falling in love with Cameron Morgan is entirely different. Because Cammie is different. She’s a spy. She understands him. She understands all of him. Growing up alone, losing a parent, hiding in plain sight, the harshness of not being truly normal, hating yourself because you’re so afraid of not being enough…

Fanboy is absolutely into halloween, because he strikes me just as the most family-guy there is! he's making little goody bags to give to all the kids he knows on base, even if they don't come trick or treating by the dorms/barracks. he's making candy apples in the shared kitchen, he's wearing kitschy halloween shirts with puns, the whole thing. on principle, he watches Coco in the common room, and pretends it's not a big deal, but when the dagger squad all individually filter in to watch it together in a dog pile on the couch, it means the world to him

So I hc Payback as being from Louisiana, and I have never met one (1) person from Louisiana who is chill about Mardi Gras. He's handing out throws (beads), he's making a king cake, he's wearing Carnival colors loud and proud. idk if any of the daggers are catholic, much less practicing, but everyone knows when ash wednesday and fat tuesday are, because he's That Into It

Bob is a jazzy Christmassy boy. he's playing the Claymation christmas movies (if you look closely, he's reciting the entire script to A Year Without A Santa Claus under his breath as it plays in the background), he's buying old vinyl anytime he can, and he absolutely insists on playing his christmas playlist which is bing crosby, rosemary clooney, frank sinatra, and the like. on christmas eve he painstakingly makes a gingerbread house, reads A Christmas Carol to himself, and he leaves an orange stuck with cloves outside everyone's doors

i feel like that makes Phoenix a new years gal! She's definitely got a good playlist going, planned down to the perfect moment when the clock strikes midnight. she wouldn't pressure anyone to stay up or make resolutions, but if you wanted to be awake for midnight, she'd be sure to wake you up so you're there. Bob's rubbed off on her, so she goes a little vintage--silver and gold party hats, noisemakers, and she has confetti air canons too. she pours champagne into dixie cups for everyone and leads folks in singing Auld Lang Syne, though she's for sure the only one who knows all the words.

I don't want to do it, but it's inevitable -- Rooster loves the fourth of July. not fireworks, not the parades, none of that, but the barbecue, beers by a grill, sunburns on your neck even though you've put on sunscreen a million times, s'mores by a bonfire as the sun fades. he and his mom used to go up to the lake, away from anywhere that'd have loud celebrations, and just have a quiet holiday, where they can remember goose in a soft, sacred way, without the noise of everyone else. he's still more melancholy than not, but it's a day that means family and memory, and it's special to him

Mav hates the Fourth of July, until after the dagger mission, when Rooster invites him to celebrate with him. they go up to the old lake house, pop a couple Bruce Springsteen cassettes into a radio they find, grill burgers and corn out on a kettle charcoal grill, and Maverick thinks that maybe this day isn't as heavy as it's always felt

StrangeSpot, Round Eleven: Loste

Jenny stops by to compliment the Lostes’ beautifully maintained garden (anything green in Strangetown catches her eye). The roof garden is Dixie’s project. Gardens and butterflies are a peaceful paradise compared to her high tech, fast paced gaming job.

Kristen is an all-star in the athletic career now and that means more opportunities out of town. While she’s away one day, Dixie discovers a lamp deposited in their front yard, addressed to her. She’s heard of others receiving them and initially wrote it off as a prank, but she gets strange vibes when she takes a closer look.

Bean informs passerby wolves in their instinctive language that they’ll need to come back later to see Kristen. Pack leader mission. Play ball versus other pack. Win! Return with treats.

Roman Bondarchuk's Volcano (Vulkan, 2018)

Well-known Ukrainian documentarian Roman Bondarchuk rose to fame with the medium-length Euromaidan. Rough Cut (2014), which he co-directed and which was screened at the IDFA. One year later, his first feature-length documentary, Ukrainian Sheriffs [+], received the IDFA’s Special Jury Award. With his most recent documentary, Dixie Land [+], Bondarchuk returned to his native province of Kherson to follow a children’s jazz band. His fiction feature debut, Volcano [+], uses the same region as its setting and has enjoyed its world premiere in the East of the West competition at the 53rd Karlovy Vary International Festival.

As he is driving through the immense steppe in the south of Ukraine, 35-year-old Lukas (Serhiy Stepansky), who is working as an interpreter for an OSCE mission, gets lost. He abandons his group in order to search for help, but when he returns, the car and everyone else is missing. With no place to go, Lukas will seek shelter in a small nearby town. There, he gains the trust of an eccentric local, Vova (Viktor Zhdanov), who lives with his young daughter Marushka (Khrystyna Deilyk) and his despotic mother. After accepting Vova’s hospitality, Lukas is captivated by the absurdity and bizarreness of the region and its inhabitants. While still struggling to escape, he is faced with a series of extreme situations but also has time for introspection and to pursue a state of true blissfulness.

In his fiction debut, Bondarchuk makes use of many of the elements that were staples of his documentary work. He sets his story in a rural area that is practically a no man’s land, where there is a thin line between tragedy and comedy. Considering the vivid overexposure of his heroes’ characters, most of which are played by actual locals, the movie could easily have descended into a farce. Instead, the director decides to present his story in an accurate and – thanks to Vadym Ilkov’s cinematography – vibrantly realistic way. In conjunction with the serious approach to all of the events, a documentary feeling underpins the whole movie, even when the narration reaches the boundaries of pure fantasy.

This journey through paranoia in the steppe is almost just as absurd for Bondarchuk, as Volcano feels semi-autobiographical. He’s originally from Kherson, but his Kyiv upbringing makes him as much of a stranger as Lukas. Furthermore, the hero, portrayed in an awkwardly affecting way by acclaimed sound designer Stepansky – known for his collaboration with Myroslav Slaboshpytskyion The Tribe [+] – in his first acting role, is the same age as the director, is a passer-by and is embarking on a similar inner quest. In parallel, Ukraine is going through a similar experience.

Bondarchuk started developing Volcano ten years ago, initially with his wife, Dar’ya Averchenko, along with Alla Tyutyunnyk, who also co-wrote the script, as most of the heroes are based on the writers’ relatives from the region. Everything was shot in the town of Beryslav, perched on the banks of the River Dnieper and just one hour north of Crimea. During the film’s development, events of immense historical importance occurred, including the “revolution of dignity”, the annexation of Crimea and the War in Donbass.

Volcano manages to tread the narrow path where fantasy intersects with reality, and both coexist in harmony. By offering just a glimpse, Bondarchuk beckons the viewer into this parallel and enchanting universe of the undiscovered New East, which can still be enticing without being scary.

Volcano is a Ukrainian-German-Monegasque co-production by Olena Yershova (Tato Film) with Tanja Georgieva-Waldhauer (elemag pictures GmbH), Michel Merkt (KNM), and Dar’ya Averchenko (South), and it was funded by the Ukrainian State Film Agency and the MDM Fund. German sales agent Pluto Film is handling the world sales.

Details:

Diana Hamato is the only daughter of Donatello Hamato or well, she’s his clone. Donnie had decided at some point that his brother’s bond couldn’t end with them and he’d started researching cloning. He argued that it was because he wanted the Hamato clan to continue in order to keep the balance after they’d defeated Shredder but Diana had heard the story multiple times and had come to the conclusion that her dad was, in fact, soft and he loved his brothers too much. Regardless, Diana was created second after Rey and was very firmly the center of Donnie’s world. There were a lot of complicated feelings that came with being a clone especially in the Hamato family. Personally, Di thought it was fascinating but she did share her intelligence with her father. She had quite a few traits, obviously, with him but she also had her own. She was friendlier, compassionate, and overall, much more optimistic. She understood logic and reasoning but she also knew that things didn’t always need an explanation.

Her dad passed on his heirloom bo staff when Diana was old enough to go on missions with her Uncle Leo. She wasn’t the best ninja compared to her cousins and her uncles. She was clumsy and hesitant when it came to actually hitting someone. The mystic side of it was easy to her, she was able to have a firm control of tech around her and make her very naturally which often left her dad stumped since he’d struggled to get control of that. Donnie was a doting father and there was nothing he wouldn’t give her but he also pushed her hard when it came to training. She’d gotten hurt one too many times because of her self-doubt. She and her father trained in their home dojo everyday and then had dinner together. It was nice to drag her dad away from his inventions. Though, they did spend a lot of time together in the lab when she was working on something too.

Most of her free time was spent gaming. She loved playing video games with her friends, Enzo and Nanami. She did get into streaming and honestly, it destroyed her sleeping schedule. Not that Donnie had ever been a good example to her either. She also enjoyed skateboarding and playing sports with her cousins, another difference from her father who thought sports were ridiculous. Uncle Leo insisted that they have normal lives outside of sneaking on rooftops in the dead of night. He was their sensei, their leader, and their biggest supporter and always made sure they knew to do what was right. Their first solo mission, that they kinda did behind his back, was how they found Casey and brought him home. It seemed like it was meant to be and Casey was part of the Hamato clan in no time. She did spend time with Uncle Mikey harnessing her mystic energy and working on her strength with Uncle Raph. They were all very family oriented but Di spent the most time at the Seara castle training with Aerwyn, playing with Matteo and being Lorena’s emotional support and vice versa. She and Lorena were very close just like their dads. She also visited her Aunt Trix often. She was Di’s hero and she was always happy to see her and gushed to everyone she knew that her Aunt Trix was the best. Diana knows she’s lucky to have great uncles, cousins, and a loving father.
