#Doctor Zor

Feeling the Zoctor mood today. I was convinced I wouldn't make a Zor design because part of their charm is that their identity is a mystery...but I was hit. violently. with inspiration. So here's my true Dr. Zor design. I did a lot of pen doodles because I needed to rest my hand a little...it's getting better at least!

The Robozor doodle was made wayyy back when, right after I did this piece. I planned to add more to the idea but it's been...a while...I might get around to my other ideas eventually, but in the meantime I thought this was fine to post on its own. The Robozors are still part of my interp! Zor could monitor multiple facilities at once (And deploy these machines if needed).

I could have some stuff to say about how I arrived with this Zor design but I'm very sleepy right now. So yeah. Have this barrage of Zors, eensy Fabby and Solaris, and their little kitty Chispa.

So y’know how Phoenix is commonly referred to as they/them (as peoples’ interpretations, not the in-game player character) and so is Zor?

I like to think that Phoenix has absolutely zero gender, people cannot figure out what they are just that they do their job well, while Zor has all of the gender and people have next to no clue what their exact role is as head of Zoraxis. People still can’t figure out what they are but for opposite reasons. Phoenix doesn’t talk at all, Zor has a voice modulatior that makes them have a double voice of male and female. People know who Phoenix is and still can’t figure them out, we know next to nothing about Zor and also can’t figure them out.

Zor stole all of Phoenix’s gender, that’s the real evil. Not that they had much to begin with, but it’s the principle of the matter.

MECH SOLARIS i need to design her big mech .. already posted the second to last in another doodle dump but oh well ..

in my interpretation, Zor is human th like the handler and Roxana but never show their true self.. at least now now Juniper and Fabby are humanoid while, solaris, hivemind and Phoenix are creatures !

Ieytd facts

In Operation Friendly Skies, the voicemails in the car (not Daniel Sans) reveal some interesting things like:

A steampunk time traveler named Thadeus Bumblesnatch calling zor to give his $20 dollars back after it fell from his pocket from their last battle after it got pick up by one of zor’s henchman or clones.

Someone calling about a lost 15 foot long tiger shark with a laser strapped to its head named “Spot” with a tag that says it belongs to zor that was found in the girls high school’s swimming pool asking to get him out.

Zor’s next D&D campaign.

A shipment of electric eels from Mike T exotic pet store, & reminder that the “giant squid” won’t be picked up until next week.

Another Zor thing. Man I'm so sorry, I didn't know how much this fucker would have a vicegrip on my brain now that I have a face to associate them with. This is a terrible time for me, because now I have to draw them in stuff like. This. Oh well.

Okay so I know I talked about Phoenix going on a monologue before getting killed, but hear me out: Y'know how there's a running theory where Zor was a field agent?

Imagine if Zor had the same ability as Phoenix. Every time they died, they'd be revived, and the mission would be started again. Unlike Phoenix, they absolutely hated dying, and the deaths were terrible on their mental health. On one mission, they got caught in a death loop, unable to figure out how to finish the mission. They realized that the Agency was sending them on missions that, without their ability, would surely kill them. So they fake their death and made Zoraxis, but lost the revival ability.

When Agent Phoenix comes, they don't think about it at first. But then they realize: This agent has the same ability. This agent went through the same thing they did. So they go to Phoenix, expecting to find an angry agent bitter at the circumstances of dying over and over.

Meanwhile, Phoenix takes dying as a challenge and thinks it's immensely fun to be as chaotic as possible because they obviously can't die.

"I know you can't die, the Agency is sending you on doomed missions. Eventually, you'll get caught in an inescapable loop."

"Maybe you were just bad at your job."
