Writing Idea for Scum Villain Self Saving System (SVSSS)

Flight Rising. Flight Rising has so many creatures, items, foods, and features that already have associated lore, they even have drawings and lore entries in the bestiary! The Sornieth Continent could be a separate island from the main plot line locale of SV, with dragons as the resident sentients, and thus driving away any humans interested in colonizing. Imagine raid parties to the island for exotic pets/illegal trade, stealing dragon eggs. Having not only Shen Yuan but all of his siblings as well, be reincarnated as dragons, their eggs being taken and sold off to the highest bidder.

Shen Yuan’s egg is bought by,,, hmmmm, Qiu Jianluo, as a gift for Haitang. not much would be known about these eggs, and since they all looked the same, they were thought to be the same species, but thats not how elemental dragons work. 

The Shen siblings are from different parents of the same clan from the wind flight, meaning their eggs look the same and they all have pale green eyes, but they are not all the same breed. 

Shen Da-ge, lets call him Fángshǒu (defender/protector), would be an Obelisk dragon; strong and sturdy, but also majestic in a rugged and earthy way. He became an Obelisk due to his desire to protect and provide for his siblings, but not in a way that would tie them down and make them miserable. Fangshou’s egg is bought by a curious Tianlang-Jun, who is baffled after eagerly awaiting the egg to hatch, when a tiny lion-like demon-beast-creature immediately demands to be returned to his siblings. Thus starts the long and epic tale of two idiots being dragged around the continent by a baby dragon. Oh, and Su Xiyan shows up sometimes.

Shen Er-ge, Lǒumìng (cherish/embrace life), is a Ridgeback dragon, cunning and clever, and possessing a crafty nature that gave their parents many headaches via Rube Goldberg machines. They are a perfect match for the Ridgeback with their tinkering and experimenting. Louming’s egg is bought by a Huanhua palace disciple and gifted to the old palace master, who promptly discards the egg in one of the many palace courtyards. When they hatch, Louming is disgruntled and irritated, being kept in a cage and not allowed to walk around, until they are discovered and befriended by Su Xiyan. Hating how he and Su Xiyan are being pushed and pulled around by dumb old people, Louming eventually breaks out and vows to kill the old palace master for very obviously lusting after and manipulating Su Xiyan, and likely many others.

Shen San-ge, our beloved Ānyuán (calm/quiet, wall), is an Imperial dragon. Not social but not distant, obsessive, passionate, and slightly perfectionist, Yuan is perfectly fit to be an Imperial dragon. His egg is bought as a present for Qiu Haitang, by Qiu Jianluo, who thinks this is an excellent decision. They are particularly unfortunate, however, as Yuan doesn’t care if he’s in Xianxia Land, child abuse isn’t fucking happening under his watch; and with how large he will grow to be, he’ll also have the ability to do something about it. If he happens to adopt a new didi for the family, well... Meimei’s always wanted a younger brother. If that happens to be the former slave Little Nine, well... little nine no longer exists. Yuan only knows Shen Jiū (turtledove).

Finally Shen Meimei, Yúkuài (cheerful/happiness) is a Wildclaw. Fierce and viscous, she can and will beat anyone into agreeing with her. With her energetic and cheerful nature she is often underestimated, but she wasn’t the 3 time winner of the national Judo championship for nothing. Yukuai’s egg is passed around for a while before its seized by Cang Qiong’s Kang Dihua, soon to be Qingde (clear kindness), the succeeding disciple of the Beast Peak, Ling You. Yukuai, while first only thought of as some rare beast, soon established herself as an intelligent young woman, on par with or even above the other disciples in terms of intelligence.

I’m going to come back and rb this with images of each of the siblings, as adults and as hatchlings, so watch for that ig.

What if Without A Cure were a different type of poison, like a cursed potion that will consume a person's body & mind, slowly and painfully while they transform into a creature with little to nothing left of their human consciousness, ending up like a beast. Like a dragon.

A victim of this version of Without A Cure would suffer a series of gradual changes on their body: developing scales all over their skin, claws growing in their hands and feet, painful reament of bones, teeths being replaced by fangs, several migraines for growing horns out of their skull, and a tail.

What if the sessions of qi transfers with Liu Qingge and the herbs can only do so much to keep the transformation at bay, forcing the changes on Shen Qingqiu's body to step back for a bit. But as the days go by, these changes come again slowly, each time a little bit harder to fight. And the flares of Without A Cure make these changes happen at a violent speed.

He can hide the worst of it with a veil, gloves and a hat while being in CQ mountain. Having LQG and MQF helping him almost daily. But the peaklords (Specially YQY) do their best to keep eveything as private as possible. No one truly knew what this Without A Cure was capable of, since the few records of it's victims mark them as dead within a few days of being posioned, having "strange deformities in their bodies" as the only clue.

Maybe Binghe never really knew the true effects of the so called poison with no cure. He only knew his master sacrificed his cultivation and now needs qi transfers to help him endure the pain.

SQQ never really tolds him, he saw how guilty Binghe felt about the whole deal, telling him that he was slowly becoming a feral creature will only make the poor boy feel worse!! Unthinkable. It wasn't so bad anyways (it was) for now his draconic features are minimal, almost non existent after the qi transfers, everything is going to be fine. Maybe becoming a dragon can help him avoid death? Uh that's a problem for the SQQ of the future.

After the conference, SQQ's grief made things a little bit worse. Just a little. The pace of the cursed posion is becoming more bothersome as days passed by, now he can't go anywhere without a veil covering his face, and the little poking horns on this head can't be hiden by his hair anymore. Maybe he just should die and come back in his plant body to put a stop to this prickly curse. A lot of people, in or outside of the mountain think he covers his face out of vanity or bc of an ugly scar. Some weirdos are even trying to take a peek under his veil. Is this what Liu Mingyan has to endure everyday?! The urge to bite out those curious fingers is becoming stronger.

Then, what if when Huan Hua Palace takes him as a prisoner, a flare up happens and with no one to help him w a qi transfer, his horns grow severly inches long, his hands and feet are completly covered in grey scales, big black claws ripping his robes because his skin is itching like hell thanks to the new scales. His pupils become slit, his tail pokes out of the rags that his clothes became, everything is a mess and no one can see him like these.

What if when Sqq self detonates, instead of dying he sacrificed what was left of his humanity to stabilize Binghe, and he completly transformates into a huge white dragon, flying away into the sky, disappearing in the distance. Leaving a very confused half demon and a devastated war god behind, memories of his human life becoming blurry and far away.

What if some despicable palace master and a particular greedy demon royalty of the nothern region put a price on the head of the misterious white dragon that has been seen floating around the skies?

Idk this is an idea for a bingliushen story. With without a cure having the effects of the first drafts that airplane had thought in this AU, when PIDW was not so popular yet. And no, the heavenly pillar can't cure this. In my brain this version of without a cure is older than the concept of dual cultivation with a heavenly demon being a cure to almost everything, so no magic dick can solve it, they would have to find another way.

In my mind Sqq's dragon form is like this from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Pretty big lizzard.

So I was inspired by @sinn-bee and their dragon AU to recreate their Shen Yuan and Liu Qingge's dragon forms. I'm totally in love with this AU and I thought it would be fun to compare how I designed based on their art vs what I did for the canon character's in SVSSS.

On the left is the design I did off their design and the right is based on the canon one. I went with a Veilspun for Sinn's design because the horn shape is probably the most similar to the one's on SY, plus the hair on them is such a big aspect of them. It's a little funny that I made him a Veilspun because in Flight Rising canon Veilspun are the smallest dragon's, about the size of a cat, whilst Sinn!SY is a big boy. I made a point to make him Mint because SY's color change is the biggest indicator in their AU that Shen Jiu was replaced. I thought filigree would be a good touch to reference the bracers that are a focal point on SY's clothing.

Canon SY I focused mostly on elegance and a wind theme, so I went with a Skydancer. The outfit was the most complicated thing, mostly because there aren't any specifically Chinese hanfu in the game. I had to do a lot of layering.

Once again, Sinn's design is on the left and the one based on canon is on the right. Liu Qingge was easy to decide on a breed because of his antler shaped horns! I had to go with an Imperial, which are based on both Asian mythology and the largest breed in the game with my largest one the length of an eleven story building. I wanted to focus on making Sinn!LQG as delicate and beautiful looking as possible. I thought the silver Opal really gave him a cool natural look. I think he and Sinn!SY would look beautiful together.

My canon version was focused mostly on his meat head fighter side, but I couldn't resist giving him a cute skin designed by FR user larkhund. I love the gap moe of it. I'm not completely happy with the outfit, but I think it works.

I can think of a few characters that i think would be certain dragons (note: its been a while since i read wof, i dont think ive read the latest book to come out, and im just remembering the dragons abilities off memory)

Shen qingqiu - Leafwing (bc hes green & hes leaf trick)

Binghe - nightwing (i think all the heavenly demons would be nightwings, mainly bc of now nightwings wee portrayed and the fact that its mentioned that all 3 heavely demons wear black) actually im coming back as im wring sqhs and says nighwing skywing hybrid maybe (this would make sxy a skywing. )

Mobei-jun - icewing (no explantion needed. I think ge was the first one i though of when i came up with this a few minuets ago)

Shang qinghua - sandwing (idk. Paralell to mbj ig. Also maybe a pun with him being a traitor and sw having scorpian tails. Idk why but to me it works quute well) (either sandwing or seawing) (yeah seawing works quite well as their only ability is to breathe underwater. And to light up to communicate underwater. In a secret language) (could be a hybrid of the two) sandwing/seawing

Tianlang-jun - nightwing (i think a way to explain the blood parasites would for them to be an animus curse(or well blessing ig) )

Zhuzhi lang - nightwing×rainwing hybrid (i originally was gonna say leafwing instead of rw but then i remembered that rw are serpentine and have venom)

Lpm&opm - hivewings (the huahuan lady and her dad. Just thought of this one as i was thinking about what other characters would work. This just works for some reason)

Su xiyan - skywing (im not really sure tbh. Skywing is just the one i thought of)

Sha hualing - ? (Idk skywing, hivewing or sandwing are my only guesses)

Yue qingyuan - mudwing (i was thinking about the other dragons sepcies when i realised that yqy fits being a mw quite well. Also in a tragic way! Cuz of the whole bigwing thing)

Ning yingying - silkwing (?maybe. im running out of ideas. Sw also works with lmy so...)

Liu mingyan - silkwing (this works well)

Gongyi xiao - hivewing��skywing (due to him looking similar/giving of the same vibes a binghe i think he would be half whatever half binghe is)

Idk what would divide the humans (now dragons and the demons (also now dragons) in this au. You could say that its a couple of the species (nightwings, icewing, and whatever the other dragons are) vs the other species but it doesnt really work. So maybe its just two factions fighting each other, similar to the sandwing sucession.

Just realised that jade mountain exists. Which has a variety of dragon species. So maybe the cang qiong sect takes its place.

Maybe zzl rainwing side is from a clan of rainwings that were cursed with animus magic to explain his snake form?

charizard. lovingly and tenderly raised since it was a charmander. evolved into charmeleon to help burn down the qiu house. sj literally saved its life. in the og timeline, lbh literally kills it. thats too dark

kadabra. lovingly raised since it was an abra. sj has been trying to get it to evolve to alakazam for ten years.

stufful pre-abyss, bewear post-abyss. because hes a hugger and he can actually put up with getting hugged by bewear. also kind of a foil to banette, the evil stuffie pokemon.

zoruark because lbh isnt actually evil and neither is zoruark no pokemon is :) anyways. tenderly and lovingly raised since it was a zorua. they are best friends.
