Den Oscar gab es im gleichen Jahr leider nicht, obwohl er auch diesen in meinen Augen mehr als verdient gehabt hätte. 🌴 Tom Hanks trägt den Film komplett auf seinen Schultern und zeigt eine seiner besten schauspielerischen Leistungen. Er gehört zur Riege der echten Schauspielgiganten und mir fällt spontan kein Film mit Tom Hanks ein, der mir nicht gefallen hat. CAST AWAY ist ein wahnsinnig guter und emotionaler Film in dem Tom Hanks zur absoluten Höchstleistung aufläuft. 💬 "Ich atme, weil ich weiß, dass morgen die Sonne wieder aufgeht und ich nicht weiß, was die Flut mir bringt." ▪️ Die Inszenierung dieses quasi Monodramas ist einfach nur als gelungen zu bezeichnen. Trotz mehrfacher Sichtung entfaltet CAST AWAY immer wieder die gleiche Wirkung und fesselt mich vor den Bildschirm. Die 143 Min. vergehen zum Teil wie im Flug, reißen einen selbst etwas aus der Realität und führen zumindest bei mir zu heftigen emotionalen Ausbrüchen. 💬 "Da muss Luft ran... Da muss LUFT ran!" ▪️ Die Story selbst ist eigentlich sehr simple, aber entfaltet einen Sog, der einen ein wenig in das Geschehen hineinzieht. Man fragt sich unweigerlich, ob man selbst so handeln würde, wie der Protagonist es im Film tut. 💬 "Ich habe Feuer gemacht!" ▪️ Der Aufwand (u. a. eine notwendige mehrmonatige Pause währen der Produktionsphase) hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Robert Zemeckis ist hier, dank Tom Hanks, ein grandioser Film gelungen.
