do you ever think about how season 4 hits john repeatedly in his abandonment issues and he tries so hard to hang on and hang on and hang on but the hits keep coming.

elizabeth sacrifices herself to save them and john isn't allowed to look for her and he's angry but he'll respect it.

ronon gets ready to leave the team and john tries his best to respect that too. but it's hurting him.

rodney wants to sacrifice himself for his sister and john quietly doesn't let it happen.

teyla tells him she's pregnant (something that invariably changes a parent's life in some ways are predictable and some ways that aren't) and john gets nasty about it.

the hits keep coming and john's doing his best but there are Limits. and this happens all in the span of 10 episodes ???

(and let's not forget carson just a bit earlier and teyla getting kidnapped a few episodes later GOSH and the weight of last man holo rodney's faith in him)

Noriaki is a successful gallery artist living with his "roommate" on Florida's Gulf Coast (I think the Tampa Bay area, specifically Bradenton, FL). They have a small bungalow near the water, Perfect for them, their office/studios, Jotaro's fish tanks, and Jolyne when she comes from her mother's during the holidays or for summer break. Jotaro is definitely a boat guy they have theirs parked on the side of the house and take it for a spin over at least once a month (or once a week when Jolyne is with them over the summer)

He still does missions for the SWF with Jotaro, but his day job is his art. He works in an abstract/contemporary style and his pieces are large and textural. Jotaro doesn't really get it but still supports his partner, Jolyne loves them though.

Also, he and Jotaro have matching wedding rings: platinum bands with emerald Inserts.

yell at me for being bad all you want but I still think there should be a chill version of dungeons/raids for the people who just want to complete them to have seen all the game content. I don't have a group, nor do I really want one. I don't get why this game doesn't have a casual mode for something so story-heavy

In a local cat rescue group on fb

This week alone there have been several posts along the lines of:- someone put a collar on my cat, someone put cream on a scratch on my cat that was being treated by me, someone fed my diabetic cat, my cat got attacked by an unneutered male cat, my neighbour is angry at my for my cat pooing in their garden, my cat keeps bringing in dead birds what can I do??

Damn if only there was a really simple, easy, completely free and proven to work thing you could do that would literally solve all of these problems immediately and effectively, ah I guess we'll never solve them 🙄

I think if season 3 had even halfway attempted to seriously address Din owning the Darksaber (even if the end result was the same) instead of whatever that mess was I'd be a lot less interested in Mand'alor Din AUs

However, it is in the dissatisfaction with canon that fandom rises sooooooo

For every justification people can make about why certain Bionicle plot elements work the way they do or why certain details only appear later (beyond the fact that they weren't written yet, of course), I have yet to see any justification for why Teridax was not taken to the Pit for casting Mata Nui into sleep

There's a 1,000 year period between him getting released from his seal and taking over the Great Spirit Robot! Can't say it's because he wasn't in one of the island domes, Botar visits Voya Nui to take Brutaka for merely defecting! Is it because he wasn't defeated, and thus couldn't be carried? Why didn't they try to take him when he was sealed, then! Surely the Order could just chisel the seal out of the wall and dunk him in the Pit, if Roodaka could over a week or so actually chip and carve the seal.

why is it that twitter/x critters just hate ashton/callowmoore so much

calling ashton disgusting. saying their kiss wasn’t consensual when they both were ok with it (sorry he didn’t ask first like fjord did? they were flirting for so many episodes leading up to it? non-consent where??). the hate towards that character baffles me. and remember when that one artist put them in a drawing together for the cr coloring books and they got bombarded with hate for it??

literally i don’t get where the ashton hate comes from.

the hate also towards fearnechet is shocking and certainly rooted in ageism.

also like, fearne literally said she was poly yet people want to tie her to one character or ship. i think they forget she’s literally a flirty fey and always has been.
