STOP: it's not the goddamn year of the dragon yet
Hold on posting your goddamn culturally Christian ass solar new year greetings that clumsily use east Asian lunar new year elements. We gotta do this song and dance every single time because y'all still refuse to do any research. Lunar new year is never on January 1; it is ALWAYS after solar new year. Lunar new year 2024 is on February 10th – save yourself some embarrassment please you're better than this

Have you seen the new dragon that was in the "Untrainable" HTTYD stage show in Beijing? It's an ice dragon and I ADORE it, it looks so gross and weird and I love it
I haven't known of this stageplay before you mention it so I have to look it up and imediatally recognize that dragon as the concept art of Bewilderbeast!

The stageplay dragon in question
Personally I wouldn't call it gross, I think it's very majestic! (and it does look a bit like a giant Smokebreath to isn't it?) I agree with you though that I very much love it! I'm very glad there're opportunity to uterlize unuse concept art of the dragon and make them a reality. Too bad it's not in english so I wouldn't know if they give it a name of not, but hopefully the show will come to other universal studio soon? (or if there're my follower who understand the language can give it a listen?)
Going off to comment on the stageplay itself, I really like the production! The dragons are adapted much more faithful than the spectacular show and I love the use of animated 2d book of dragons and Stormcutter puppet!

oh yeah some vauge idea ive thought of exploring i wanna throw somewhere before i forget- sabito as jack frost from rise of the guardians
something something other hashira as the guardians maybe but Sabito As Jack Frost. outgoing fast-paced fun-loving snarky its almost like a fuckin mirror to how i imagine him in modern aus. ultimately he just wants to protect whats his and make them feel safe & happy, going so far as to getting himself killed in attempt to do so. plus the entire fuckin ice theme & flighty-ness- i dont have to bend or break the puzzle pieces at ALL its just right fuckin' there!!

Chrysanthemum 🌼
An inktober piece from 2022! The yellow Chrysanthemum is the seal of the Japanese emperor and the royal family. In Japanese and many other Asian cultures, dragons represent strength, power and nobility. Here a Japanese dragon guards the royal seal 🐉
