hii i'm so fascinated with the anthro dog worldbuilding and had a question about it !!! if domesticated canines exist in the world, do undomesticated canines (wolves, foxes, coyotes, maned wolves, etc) also exist? if so, what role do they play in society? ^_^

Domestic dogs are the only anthropomorphic species, they exist in place of humans.

Wild canines exist, but they're just regular wolves, foxes, coyotes and so on. Anthro dogs view them the same way humans view apes and other primates. They recognize that wolves are superficially similar to them in some uncanny ways, but have no gualms about hunting them. To a dog living in the pre-Darwin era, a wolf isn't a distant relative, it's a wild beast that will eat their livestock.

Actual pet dogs are entirely absent.

Other domesticated animals exist as normal. Anthro dogs keep cats as pets, raise chickens and ride horses.

Every new fact i learn about orv and kim dokja makes me want to read it more and more.

Wdym kim dokja is an octopus??? A demon king???? There are reviewers that judge the regression plotlines??? Constellations are people??? One of the characters is an author??? Nobody sees dokja because of 4th wall??? Nobody can actually remember how he looks like? Kim is in a coma? Him and another character have a child? The americanised live action? What am i supposed to do with this information?

" endless dive " is the coldest of its anger in the warmest of all places ; a desert stretching for miles , nonsensical structures littering it , enormous ( though the word , for all intents and purposes , has long since lost its meaning here ) blocks held up by seemingly just the air above you , threatening to fall any time , and you are still there , why are you still there , go lower , go , fall , into the bowels of constructs and architecture , hateful both , it wants you out , Out , OUT-

and then you meet the host .

With all the weird shit that goes on in gotham Bernard never questions when things in his apartment suddenly move or go missing. But what is very suspicious is half of his pots/pans missing and stuff that looks questionably like Tim’s appearing out of nowhere.

Idk I just love the thought of Tim and Bernard unintentionally half moving into each other’s places.

based off of this post (been wanting to write a reply to this for awhile but no time better than the approaching 8/8)

Waking up with your arm in your boyfriend's mouth was becoming the norm. Your boyfriend said it was an accident, just him eating in his sleep and he didn't mean anything by it. You would always wake up when he’d hit your shoulder and so did he. He was always so apologetic and would make it up to you throughout the day. He promised over and over that it didn't mean anything and he wouldn't do it again (even though it kept happening) and you believed him. Why wouldn’t you believe him? He was your boyfriend, and you loved him and he loved you, there was no way he’d actually want to eat you, right? Right?

That night, you and your boyfriend had gotten a little too drunk, enjoying yourselves for the first time in a while and the two of you scrambled off to bed later than  you both normally did. All of that seemed to contribute to the situation you found yourself in. 

You woke up wet and constricted, struggling to breathe as slick flesh pulled you deeper and deeper in, one arm pinned at your side and the other stretched out in front of you. It took far too long to process what was going on. You didn’t even struggle as the next swallow came and the muscles pulled you further in.

Realization cut through your groggy haze like a knife. You start to struggle, squirming against the muscles and the person consuming you. The peristalsis pulls you further down, uncaring to your struggles and all of your movement only helps to pull you in further. You try to call out but there was no response to your calls, only another, hungrier and greedier swallow.

It only took a few more swallows before you were shoved unceremoniously into your boyfriend’s stomach. The space was tight and forced you to curl up on yourself. There was a low groan from the organ around you and a loud sigh from your boyfriend. You could hear him start to snore again, completely asleep and unaware of your situation. You squirm and struggle against his stomach, shouting and trying to get his attention or wake him up at least but to no avail. It doesn’t stop you, however, from continuing to try as the stomach walls start to knead around you, followed by another set of low groans and gurgles.

Over the sound of his stomach, coming to life with live food within, your cries could not be heard. All your movement did was wrestle out a loud burp in his sleep, the expelling of air constricting your space even more. Your boyfriend stirred a bit at the burp forcing itself out of his throat but not fully. Instead, he just grumbled and rolled over on the bed, laying more on his stomach now, squeezing you further. Unconsciously, he rubbed a hand over his stomach, sighing happily. His stomach gurgled under his hand and all the compression made it impossible now for you to even move.

You could hear him fall back asleep, mumbling incomprehensible words in his sleep. All the while, his stomach was coming more to life, kneading and grinding into you full force, digestive fluid seeping from the walls as it prepared to break down the meal within. Unable to do anything now but wait, all you can do is hope he wakes up before it’s too late.

Hello. I haven't spoken much on the Reverse Entry AU (Modern Office + Reverse Isekai Loop AU). That changes today!!! Have some scattered (relatively long) tidbits on this AU. Mainly background to actually get to the office part of it but, yea!

If anyone wants elaboration on anything on this list, and I do mean anything, I encourage asking!! Or any random questions on the AU general!! Or just things in general!! Make me think about things I have not considered!!

Spoilers for all of ISAT + 2Hats and the like:

Mainly Concrete

The Country -> The Company.

Well, more of a family storefront, but the similarity in those two words next to each other was too good to pass up LOL.

Said storefront was run by Siffrin’s parents, and was their life's work.

Specialized in niche craft related stuff, in both teaching people how to do them & selling materials for the crafts. 

It was a very warm & homely store, and was adored by locals and visitors alike. 

A store that felt comforting to just vibe in for a bit, if that makes sense.

Loop ends up being Siffrin’s roommate after being reverse isekai’ed :)

They do not help with rent

They are a solid night light, which they try to justify as helping with the electricity bill

They also find a mirror shortly after arrival. 

Important Points

Mirabelle & Isabeau have known each other since University and are besties!!!!!!!!!

Not 100% sure of the logistics yet, but this was too important of a point to not include

Additionally, please know at some point, Isa custom stitched the scarf-shawl Mira wears to work all the time now, and gifted it to her!

He is also responsible for the fun pattern on the vest he wears all the time too!

Bonnie, whenever they are hanging around, makes sure to sneak onto Nille’s computer, and block out time between meetings for time to breathe / snacks for the others

And they also make sure to block out like an hour of time for proper lunches as well

Back to back to back to back meetings are not fun!!!

Breaks are important!!!

I have mentioned this in a different post, but this too, is a very important point to not include here as well

Location of Living

Mirabelle & Siffrin live in the same apartment complex, but on opposite sides of it

They have briefly interacted a few times prior to being coworkers? 

But Siffrin had his hair dyed for interviews for a long time

So Mirabelle didn’t realize it was him for a while, since he started growing out the dye before formally meeting in a work environment

Siffrin simply forgor

Isabeau lives relatively close-by to where Mira & Sif live, he visits Mira sometimes!!

He may or may not have also interacted with Siffrin two (2) times prior to working together due to the above point

Nille & Bonnie live around the area Siffrin used to live before he had to move, and have resided in that area for a long time

They technically were neighbors, at one point!

Odile lives closer to the office than everyone else 

Shorter commute for in-office days 

But still in the general vicinity of everyone else's abodes ofc

Hiring Order

Mirabelle has been working in the office the longest (interned two years in a row, and was formally hired right out of University)

Isabeau is next after since he got a referral off of Mira (interned for one year before graduation, then was hired at the same time Mirabelle was)

Odile was hired to replace Euphrasie (previous senior manager to their team who got a promotion, she’s now director of the regional office)

Siffrin was hired a bit after Odile when they got more capacity, since what they were originally doing was way too much for just three people LOL

Apparently, he got a referral from someone internally, but has no idea about it!

Nille was hired a little bit after Siffrin was

She only agreed upon the role if she was granted the flexibility to pick up Bonnie from school whenever

Random RPG Equivalence Hour

Turn Based Combat = Emails 

Whether it be waiting for data to start processes, answering inquiries, so on and so forth

Sometimes those turns take literal days

It happens!

Being Frozen / Damaged = Program Freezing 

This goes for any program being used

If it freezes it inflicts small damage

It inflicts more damage if it crashes

It makes you cry on the floor if the program crashes and you can’t recover any of what you did for the past hour

It makes you regret all of your life decisions up to this moment in time if it crashes, you can’t recover anything, and you have a presentation on the stuff you were working on in 15 minutes

Misc Meetings

Mirabelle writes fanfic

Isabeau knows about this and supports her in her endeavors

Odile has read some of her works, but does not know she wrote them irl

At some point prior to working together, Mirabelle & Odile became mutuals and started trading book / fanfic recommendations to one another

Odile had a brief stint as a bartender prior to working for the office

Mainly to earn some form of income while applying for jobs / waiting for prior certifications to process and transfer properly after moving from another country

In one or another, she met Isabeau and Siffrin at separate intervals while working there

Additionally, the bar is located close to the office. A lot of happy hours happen there. It ended up serving as a networking opportunity for her LMAO

Both Nille and Bonnie moved around a lot when they were younger

At different intervals, Nille went to the same high schools as both Mirabelle & Isabeau

Nille has probably worked a lot of jobs throughout high school / university

This includes working at the same place Odile worked at for a bit, they were probably coworkers there at some point.

Maybe not necessarily a bartender but, general staff

Again, this served as a networking opportunity similar to the Odile segment ASFASDASDA

Loop somehow ends up becoming a vtuber.

Loop somehow ends up being a vtuber for the company the team works under, akin to Tony the Tiger.

Loop does this vtuber gig for approximately one (1) stream and quits right after.

((loop decided their first stream was a nuzlocke for some reason. the crafts company literally didnt ask them to. they decided this on their own volition for no apparent reason. the company literally asked for a stream where they do crafts?? anyway they named their pokemon after the party. and. well.))

As I am Indecisive, this still has a chance for change! But for now this list is slightly ordered from “concrete in my mind” to “need to let simmer more probably, but the vibes are there” to “probably not but it is a bit of a funny to consider” (this only applies to the last loop segment ASDAFA)

Batchim rules

There are 7 key batchim rules that depend on the consonants used. Some characters like ㄱ, ㅋ, and ㄲ share the same rule as you can guess because they are very similar consonants.

ㅇ = ㅇ

ㄱ, ㅋ, ㄲ, ㄳ, ㄺ = ㄱ

ㄷ, ㅌ, ㅅ, ㅆ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅎ = ㄷ

ㅁ, ㄻ = ㅁ

ㅂ, ㅍ, ㅄ, ㄿ = ㅂ

ㄹ, ㄼ, ㄾ, ㅀ = ㄹ

ㄴ, ㄵ, ㄶ = ㄴ

I’ll lay it out like this:

WORD –> PRONOUNCIATION : ROMANIZED

1. Rules for ㅇ

Starting off with ㅇ because it’s important to batchim rules overall. Once you learn how to read hangul you learn ㅇ is either an empty space when used first (like 아니) or an ‘ng’ sound at the very end (like 사랑).

The ‘ng’ sound is the ㅇ characters batchim, it never changes. BUT there’s more- if ㅇ begins the next syllable in a word the batchim will change:

있어 –> 이써 : isseo

있다 –> 읻다 : et-da

For the first one the bottom consonant ㅆ takes over the space of ㅇ for pronunciation making it sound more like 이써. 있다 above follows the normal batchim rules and the ㅆ takes on a ㄷ sound.

2. ㄱ, ㅋ, ㄲ, ㄳ, ㄺ = ㄱ

This rule affects consonants including ㄱ or his relatives and simply makes anything a ㄱ sound no matter how hard the character would be on its own. Even ㄳ which is combo k and s becomes just k sound.

한국어 –> 한구거 : hangugeo

책은 –> 채근 : chekgun

3. ㄷ, ㅌ, ㅅ, ㅆ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅎ = ㄷ

This affects a bunch of consonants so it’s important to remember.

꽃 –> 꼳 : ggot

좋다 –> 조타 : jota

There’s a special rule about ㄷ and ㅌ ending before a ㅇ though. You’ve probably heard it with 같이; instead of becoming 가티 the ㅌ changes to ㅊ making it 가치.  ㄷ changes to ㅈ as well.

같이 –> 가치: kachi

4. ㅁ, ㄻ = ㅁ

몸이 –> 모미 : momi

5. ㅂ, ㅍ, ㅄ, ㄿ = ㅂ

없다 –> 업따 : ob-da

없어요 –> 업서요 : ob-seoyo

Now ㅂ has some special rules for itself, you probably knows 감사합니다 but it’s not pronounced kamsahaBnida it’s more like kamsamnida

ㅂ starting a word – use a softer b sound: 바나나

ㅂ in the middle –  it creates a b sound: 일번

ㅂ at the bottom – can have m sound depending on what follows like in 감사합니다

A trick to think of is try saying 감사합니다 20x fast. Maybe originally the word was pronounced fully but people get lazy, slur their words, etc and pronunciation goes towards what’s easiest.

6. ㄹ, ㄼ, ㄾ, ㅀ = ㄹ

별이 –> 벼리 : byeo-re

핥은 –> 할튼 : halteun

7. ㄴ, ㄵ, ㄶ = ㄴ

앉다 –> 안다: anta

돈이 –> 도니 : doni
