This ask was placed before I did my warden stuff, so hopefully you already saw that, yes! I do still have Minecraft stuff. Though I don’t focus on it much with Elder Scrolls having taken over my brain, I do try and keep collecting inspiration for rewrites of my unfinished Minecraft series over on AO3 (it is. So old and so cringe).

The warden was actually a big boost to the third installment of the series! But, obviously, focus shifted again to TES soon after. Just what happens when you’ve got brainrot I suppose. Not sure when I’ll return to it in-full, but for now I’ll continue to do fun and ominous doodles of my guys that I feature in the MC stories.

Regarding my (former) Minecraft fan-fiction (which I know I talked about, but never posted here!)

In mid-February this year, I decided to take a much-needed hiatus from all social media. It was supposed to last for a weekend, but then it became my new normal. No social media apps on my phone made me feel much more relaxed and much happier! Which is why I will be keeping this new normal through early 2022 and maybe even beyond! My new normal disconnection from social media has also made my creativity go through the roof. This creativity spike leads me to my main point, which is: I decided, on February 26th of this year, that my Minecraft fan-fiction no longer acts like the game in any way, so it will now become an original urban fantasy/adventure series of three books!

It does not mean that I don’t like Minecraft stories or art or the game itself anymore, though! This just means that I am repurposing the story, characters, settings, and other aspects into their own thing. So the places that used to be the Overworld, the End, and the Nether are now their own separate planets with water, oxygen and life within one big Goldilocks Zone around a star called Phenoris. Or as the people of all three world call it, the sun. All three worlds are going to be connected by magic and magical portals, some of which can be summoned by sorcerers to be permanent!

There will be humans living in the Earth-like world, which is now called Vardotan, while humanoid shapeshifting mortal beings calling themselves Dragon Elves will live in the world that used to be the End, which is now called Duroehna. Mortal beings who look like anthropomorphic phoenix-Archaeopteryx-dragons with short and stubby tails, who are called the Magoureans, will inhabit the planet that used to be the Nether. That fire planet is now called Voeniro.

The characters will also be completely different. Herobrine, Entity_303, and Null will no longer be in the story, obviously, and neither will Steve or Alex. The first three characters will now be replaced by original demigods, known as Balance Keepers, one demigod chosen from each of the races of mortals for each planet. The character who replaced Steve will be related to a vessel of a soul of one of the Balance Keepers. The character who replaced Alex has now been scrapped from the stories, completely.

Because the story will be an urban fantasy, there will be cars, trucks, electricity, touchscreen phones, and other aspects of living in a world like our world today.

With regards to posting the books, I’m actually hoping to illustrate them myself, then publish them once the three books, and me, are ready. The current working title for the series is “The Three Worlds of Fenrathae.” The working titles for each of the three books are, respectively, “Duroehna,” “Vardotan,” and “Voeniro.”

I plan on posting excerpts of the books on my DeviantArt account, which is MagmaAquariusWolf. I’ll start posting the occasional excerpt once I am closer to the final drafts of each of the books. I don’t know when exactly that will be, but I have been working on the first book’s first draft for most of a day and late into the night for about a week or two. Actually, I might just delete my current DeviantArt account and create a new one. Or I could create a separate one for the art of my series of books, under a slightly more professional-sounding name.

I’ve also decided to repurpose my inactive YouTube channel into a channel dedicated to sharing time-lapse videos/speedpaints of my traditional drawings, illustration concepts and character art related to TTWoF. I might possibly even include some concept discussion videos and maybe readings of excerpts from the work-in-progress books. I won’t upload anything to the channel until I get the first drafts of the three books done, though.

ANYWAYS, that is all I wanted to say! Yeeeeee!

Minecraft Things :))))

Some canon stuff, some OC stuff, and one funny cryptid. Got Archie Mr. Arch Illager from MC Dungeons, Versain from Awakening (who I shared in a previous post oops), Charlie from Scorch of Thunder, Entity_303 (as seen in Resting), and a creeper and enderman design. I think I finally nailed a good design for both. I also used this collage to practice my edgier lineart that I’m starting to work into!
