New baby. Got her for under 200 bucks. Why so cheap? There's a crack in the neck, just below the headstock. This doesn't worry me. I know of a couple luthiers in the area. So when it snaps, and I'm sure it will sometime down the road, I'll be able to get it repaired.

to preface: we can't mill our own parts and can't create parts from blanks.

i am trying to find a certain neck to build a guitar kit. the problems happen to be the following:

1.) a 24 fret neck 2.) on a gibson les paul 3.) with a solid mahogany neck 4.) and an ebony fingerboard 5.) with a nylon nut 6.) and the head must be blank because it needs to be a specific gibson logo + the crown logo from the late 1950s - mid 1960s 7.) oh yeah, and the fingerboard fret inlays in mother of pearl also need to be the square ones.

A very cool Epiphone Les Paul in for some setup refinements for Pete. This one really captures vintage vibes, with it's flatwound strings and retrofitted vintage Gibson branded bigsby in particular. Also has one of my left handed (with LH audio taper pot spec) 50s style wiring harnesses, the original pickups sound very nice through that I must say!
